The location is awesome and the roof top terrace is nice to be able to go outside and enjoy. The showers were spacious with removable shower heads which is always a plus. Rooms have super big windows to let in lots of air during the night. They also have an elevator to bring your bags up and down!

It’s on a bit of a loud street, so sometimes you’ll hear people at night still out eating and drinking - but that is the trade off for being in a lively area. There was also maybe some (black?) mould on the shower ceiling but when you’re there for so little time I’m not sure that matters all that much lol

The location was perfect as it was very close to the city center and also to the Montjuïc hill. A few minutes walk from the hostel and you can enjoy stunning views of the city. The neighborhood is also very nice, still touristy but not way too touristy. There was a kitchen with all the appliances you need(there are 2 fridges, stove, kettle, cutlery, plates, mugs etc) and a beautiful terrace. The stuff was really nice, friendly and hospitable, especially the woman at the front desk. There are lockers in the rooms but you need to bring your own padlock(or they also sell them or you can buy one in a store). The bedsheets were clean.

i loved my stay! I stayed in the female only room. the beds were comfy and the privacy curtains were nice. plugs and light by each bed. i especially liked the upstairs terrace and hostel pub crawls as I made such nice friends through these. location isn't most central but it was easy to access attractions through metro or walking. the kitchen is also big, clean and well equipped. I would stay again :)

The place is extremely cool. Pure fun. I felt welcomed, instantly tuned into the local vibe. Hostel is spacy, nicely arranged, clean, full of people you really want to be around, accustomed to socialising and not disturbing at all. The spot is close to cool tapas bars. It was weekend and full events going outside and despite noise it felt just great, as a part of travelling experience. The hostel crew was extremely helpful, chatty and understanding. Nothing really was wrong. One of the best hostels I remember to visit.

I booked the studio. Its location is amazing! Really close to everything. I managed to explore the City by foot and was walking to all landmarks (except Park Guell). Shout out to Angela - she managed to make me feel welcomed, she was extremely understanding towards me and helped me a lot, navigating me through the City. THe studio itself is amazing, really clean and so cozy and comfortable. If i could by that place for myself - i would! Deffinitely recommend it and I would visit it again for sure! this hostel is underrated The mattress was comfortable, the room and the bathroom were clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything (even with good music and tv), I enjoyed cooking there. The staff are very nice and helpful, especially the portuguese girl (if you're reading this, I found my mascara haha!)

The only thing that is negative for me is that not every bed has a drawer for large luggage, it is quite difficult to manage with small wardrobes, but it was enough for valuable things, I was able to close it.

The location was on a good bus and metro route. The pub bar crawl organised was incredible. We met some amazing people. There was noise throughout the night however it all evened out since some people would get in late but others would leave early. Bathrooms were chill. The terrace amazing.

the air-conditioning was good but not on super cold, so was a bit warm. It was a reasonable temperature at night outside but would hope the aircon is on stronger for the peak summer time.

a big thank you to Angela for her hospitality, she gave some tips what to do and where to go in Barcelona and was very nice. The location is amazing, everything is just in a walking distance to all the attractions and the city. Had a great experience over all!

would be great to have a few more towels in the apartment. Pretty busy location, there is a construction close to and can be a bit loud

The best hostel I've ever stayed. Staff were amazing and super helpful and the fact that you can use all their facilities before and after check out including luggage storage! It's in a great central location of Barcelona.

Limited WC and Shower facilities for the amount of people it can hold. They were exceptionally clean facilities, just had to wait to use them at peak time.

The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. I had a wonderful time at Hipstel Parallel and can highly recommend this place. The hostel has a terrace where you can relax with a book or meet other travelers. Furthermore the hostel has a huge kitchen with cooking facility and a fridge to store one’s groceries. You can easily walke from the hostel to the city center or to the beach and everything you need is close (e.g. restaurants, grocery shops, laundromat). I met a lot of interesting and open people at Hipstel Parallel with whom I also went on excursions.
