Exceptionally clean, very friendly staff , location is great. And value for money. Room is serviced daily if required by good staff. 24hr reception, where quite correctly, identity is politely checked before handing over keys when returning to the hotel.

Not a lot to dislike, I had booked an economy single room, but owing to a slight mix up I ended up with a 3 bedded room with a small balcony overlooking outside of the hotel. No facilities in room for self-catering, I asked for a kettle and was provided with one, so had my tea and coffee. Breakfast ( Continental ) is provided in bar/cafe area.

The location was perfect, right on the main street, 3 mins from the train station. The hotel has been newly renovated and the lobby/bar/restaurant area was lovely - super comfy little sofa and chairs. Great fresh coffee served at breakfast (inlcuding decaf) and flexible options. They kindly allowed me to have my almond milk for the coffee and toasted my gluten free bread for breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They lent me a brand new hair dryer and knife for lemon. The bed was super comfy, pillow memory foam and amazing, the air con silent and new, the fan a great addition. The shower was excellent and the room had all you needed! Would well recommend this newly renovated hotel - great value for money, comfy nights sleep, and a lovely sanctuary to come back to between your trips out, with the friendliest of staff!

The hollow centre of the hotel carries and amplifies sounds, so you hear every time someone opens or closes their room door and the key/locks are loud. This is the only downside and can be a disturbance to light sleepers.

Very good localization in the center of Benalmadena 5 minutes away from the train station, very clean hostel, nice and helpful staff, perfect for single travellers, very good value for money.

Breakfasts could be better and more diversified, though I understand the hostel's policy of not providing warm breakfasts. Still, some fruit and vegetables for example could help a lot.

Really liked it here, overall pleasant staff. Rooms were basic but really clean and comfortable, fresh towels every day. Location wise, only a few minutes from the train station but a good 20 minutes walk to the beach. However, there is a bus stop by the station that goes to the front. Stayed here for a week and was really good. Would come back here for sure.

Nothing much, it was more or less what I was expecting from other reviews.

Good location if you want to live in central Arroyo - walking distance everywhere. Good beds, clean, well maintained, friendly staff. We had a room with balcony to the pedastrian zone & morning sun which we did not expect & which was great.

They are currently renovating the bar / cafeteria, should be done in the next couple of weeks - was done at good hours, we were not disturbed by the works & there many alternatives to have a coffee around, but would of course have been better if cafeteria was available.

The staff are always an absolute delight! Super friendly, helpful and lovely! The rooms are clean, modern, excellent comfy beds and memory foam pillows, rainfall shower. I loved the large terrace for morning yoga, with both a view of the sea and mountains! The triple room actually gave me a queen bed + a single. Loved having a fresh decaf express each morning and hot oat milk (which I brought and they kindly used). The location couldn't be easier!

The hostel is located in the downtown, close to everything. Price-value ratio is excellent. Clean room and bathroom, kind personals.

The sound isolation of the room was non existent. Could hear every steps from the corridor and from upstairs. Unfortunately the dining area in the hostel was under reconstruction so I had to have the breakfast other places. The nice place opened after 8am, food, coffee, juice was excellent. But the other place where I could have the breakfast before 8am was a cheap pub with poor food etc.

really clean, I stayed for 2 nights and my room was fully cleaned each morning. For a small room I was impressed it had air con AND a ceiling fan. very close to train station and although a basic breakfast (toast/coffee/juice) it was really nice and the staff were lovely. also it’s more of a mini hotel than a hostel - other guests seemed to be older couples when I visited.

there wasn’t anything that I didn’t like personally. my single room didn’t have an external window, only one into the internal courtyard but that didn’t bother me however some people might disagree

I was pleasantly surprised with my room brilliant power shower. Comfortable bed. I loved the way my toiletries were replenished each day. And my room cleaned each day. I never thought this would happen in a 2 star hostel. I booked for a balcony and had the choice of 2 chairs excellent. I loved my keys being held at reception which was 24 hours. No heavy fob, and keys to carry around no lost keys! Always at Hostal

I didn't like the coat hangers. My clothes kept falling off, and the hangers kept falling off the rail so frustrating. Not much to dislike other than that really

The Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and very helpful. 2 minute walk from train station and very local to shops, cafe and food etc. The rooms were simple but just what you need . We would definitely recommend and would stay there again
