Location great. Across the road from supermarket and 1 min walk to waterfront. We had a triple room with 1 single bed in its own location in the room. Large room size. Two doors with shutters onto good size balcony. Large bathroom with good water pressure in shower. Staff efficient and helpful at check in. Paid for secure parking 1 min walk for E15 per day. Beds large and comfortable and pillows good. Nice fresh linen and cotton coverlet. We were able to ask for extra pillows. We were on 2nd floor overlooking courtyard with holiday makers and locals opposite. But room very quiet and had a great quiet and restful sleep. Overall a light and airy and clean hotel, with large rooms and comfortable beds.

Room amenities basic with no fridge or tea/coffee. A little bit challenging to offload luggage with no parking or stopping area close to reception.

Lovely airy rooms, air-con, perfectly clean, spacious reception waiting area, ideal location smack in the middle of the village and a 5 minute walk from bus station.

Only flaw was we were led to believe when checking in that breakfast could be ordered and paid for the following morning. But on the morning the other receptionist said we should have booked the previous evening as they did not have enough food ordered in. Found that very strange, however there were a host of cafes and restaurants within 2 minutes which served a good variety of breakfast, so it worked out OK

Great location with a view of the sea from our balcony. Very central for dining and nightlife. Great room with balcony, very modern and clean. Save your self the trouble of trying to park outside the hotel and park at the main car park at the roundabout as you approach Cadaques. The hotel can validate your ticket for just €15 against the €26 it would normally cost.

The hotel is in a great location, close to everything. The room looked super nice and it was quite clean. Also had amenities. I say it was way more than what I expectet for a 3* hotel. The staff was nice and check-in procedure easy. I liked it overall.

The only bad thing I noticed were some small stains on the bedsheet and a hair, but overall was quite clean. And the wifi was barely working on the 3rd floor.

We had a great stay. The hotel was very comfortable and right in the heart of Cadaqués. The breakfast they served was also good.

Be aware that they do not turn on the air conditioner until the summer so we were there towards the end of May and while the room was warm, we opened the door to the balcony and it was cool but noisy at night. You hear the church bells every hour.

The location is unbeatable - 150 metres from the beach and across the road from basic amenities. We could go to the beach for a while, then go back to our room, shower and head out for lunch, come back for a nap, and then go back to the beach. It made going to the beach very comfortable. The air-conditioning was a reprieve from the unrelenting heat this year.

The staff are nice, but I wonder if they get paid enough or if they get enough time off. I don't like fake niceness, but they are little more than polite. As a guest I'm get really excited to go on a well-earned break, so it would be nice if the staff at the reception desk were generally a little more cheery and engaging.

LOCATION was in good proximity to town and it was just a beautiful town to be in. I flew in from Paris to Barcelona and made my way to Cadaques via train then bus. Loved the town and the hotel was great.

There was a noise in the vent that was a little distracting, but it was not enough to bother mentioning at the time.

The Hotel Octavia was excellent! The place was a great location, two minutes from the sea & a 6-7 min walk from the train station. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially the young woman, Yanfir(?). Hotel was right across from an excellent supermarket. Great stay!

Construction noisy outside across the street for a day - but back to ‘quiet’ normal afterwards.

Perfect location, it is good that hotel offers parking space , as it will be difficult to find one on the street nearby in busy season, room size ideal for family of 3 . Big bathroom. friendly staff . Nothing to complain, we will be back definitely.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this property- especially after staying in Barcelona- it is really good value.

We didn’t get twin beds which showed as being available through booking.com and was requested when we made the booking months ago. Booking.com needs to take some responsibility as this seems to happen a lot through this website
