The staff were really friendly and helpful. The man on reception even came over to the breakfast area to help me translate the breakfast options into English. Dare I say it, but the breakfast croissant was better than the one I had in France! Really comfortable and clean room. Our dogs were welcome. Plenty of parking right out the front of the hotel.

The only other place in walking distance was a restaurant/canteen - no supermarket or other restaurants to choose from. However, I knew that when I booked and I wanted somewhere very convenient that would just get me back on the road quickly the next day, so it was no problem. From all the trucks and cars parked outside the restaurant, I guess the food was pretty good there.

A very good location for a stop off on the way to Santander Ferry. They also allowed my dog in the room and she was very happy and there was a little bit of a running area for her outside. Breakfast was nice. The receptionist was lovely and helpful and so where the girls who served the breakfast . We had a car and a trailer and there was plenty of room to park.

Could not eat dinner at the Hotel but they did have a restaurant just up the road which we could take our dog to as well. We were allowed to sit with the dog in the covered outside heated area so that was nice. Lovely big roaring fire. No hair drier in the bedroom but I am sure if we had asked at reception they probably could of suppled one.

Even from the outside, the hotel was smart and welcoming. Inside was no different. Great staff, excellent rooms and everything was spotlessly clean and modern. Being located just off the main road was a great bonus. Overall the price at less than €100 for two adults, two small dogs including breakfast was fantastic value for money.

Only one niggle, our request for a room on the back of the hotel to avoid road noise was ignored.

We have used this hotel before and it’s position is convenient for us. It is clean, friendly with adequate facilities.

Since we last used the hotel, it appears to have amalgamated with a local hostal 300 metres down the road. This means that the evening meal had to been taken at the hostal, which you need to drive to as the road has no pavements or lighting. This means that after a long day driving the opportunity for a relaxing drink is limited. The food was OK with the menu del dia costing 14 euros, which would have been acceptable, except it was the weekend and they increased the price to 20 euros, which was not so much good value. Previous inclusive breakfasts there have been buffets with a wide range of food on offer. Currently they offer a much more limited breakfast, which they organise. However, at 4.50 euros it is still good value.

Thisis a great modern hotel just off the Autovia. Great as atransit stop (there isn't much else in the immediate surroundings, but the town of Duenas is about 10mins walk away) Easy to find, nice easy check in. Parking off street and covered by CCTV. Rooms are large for this scale of hotel, with an excellent bathroom. Only downside is that (currently) there is no on site restaurant, but there is a straightforward roadstop diner 300m along t he road. This was my thirrd time using this hotel in the past year, and I will stop again.

There is very little not to like. The hotel is dog friendly and the breakfast "choose your own" , at 6 euros, is cheap and a good idea. I love the town of Duenas, always good for a walk around, and the people in the hotel and the town are friendly. The food at the "sister hotel" is good and the staff friendly and efficient. It is economical but with room sizes, beds, facilities etc. that are much better than "economy" class. There is more than adequate parking, so no problems there, and the hotel is easy to find, being just a short way off the motorway, but just far enough that a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds is not disturbed.

I have used this hotel many times in the past and find it sad that the hotel restaurant and bar are no longer operating. Although it is only a 200 metre walk to the sister hotel, the road can be busy and there is no pavement.

Booked a room on the same day to fit with travel arrangements, can’t fault the hotel for comfort, cleanliness and value. Very smart, modern and the room exceeded my expectations. However, it is a mile from the nearest village and the road to the hotel is a little rough and dirty with no footpath. Evening meal is available about 100 yards down the road, although this was a truck stop the menu of the day was good food and very good value. As a one night transit hotel it ticks many boxes, if you prefer to wander around a town or village it’s not ideal.

Mainly good but we would have preferred a few more breakfast options. Also just regarding the location, as above, it’s not close to a town or village for a little wander and the road outside has no footpath.

ideal when travelling from the south coast to the ferry. room was very nice. staff were very helpful. we had a couple of electric bikes with us and were able to lock them away in a secure room. also dog friendly. restaurant/cafe is just down the road and staff there were extremely nice. not fine dining but good food and very good prices and quick. the menu del dia was a three course meal with wine for €14. try getting that on the coast!!

Ideal location travelling to Malaga. Immaculately clean. Staff very friendly and speak English. Can walk to Dueñas Town but it is along a rough verge on a busy road. The town is quaint with a square and a few bars.

No drink facilities in the room but this is typical in Spain. We always take our own kettle and the mattress was a bit hard for us. That's not to say it isn't just right for other guests.

Really easy to find, we didn’t eat at their restaurant down the road as we had our dogs with us, so we got a takeaway pizza from down the road. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly, prick us with two dog beds (unfortunately our dogs are huge so the beds were too small) but the fact they offer this is great!

Nothing, it was great, right off the motorway so a great stopover on route to Santander!
