Set at the head of a beautiful valley with amazing views. The rooms are re clean and comfortable and the staff mostly very nice. This is a great place to stay for walking in the hills but even for those less adventurous the large comfortable lounge and terrace make a great place to chill and drink in the mountain air. The evening meals were excellent if a little pricey
There are minor issues as would be expected with a building of this construction- I think others have mentioned the creaking floors and the odd bath arrangement (the shower and taps are at one end the plug at the other) One staff member in the restaurant preferred to anticipate what you were going to say rather than take the time to listen but the rest (especially the waitresses) more than made up for him

Excellent historic location with fantastic views on the mountain range, the hotel is really atmospheric, and breathes history. The evening restaurant was very good. You feel comfortable, while the location is not easy to service, most of the things you might need are there.
The breakfast was usually a bit of a chaos. Lots of people would queue in the morning to get tables (unsure why, since there would always be some left). There was just one coffee machine that would always break. there would be 'slightly' expired fruits, and in general the selection was always the same. That said I do understand that there could be some difficulty obtaining all the varied produce daily in a mountain region. Another point was the lack of consistency in service, some evenings the bar waiters would be quick on the spot and responsive, while others you would wait forever even to order.

The location, high in the Pyrenees, is quite fantastic with water falls cascading down the towering snow capped mountains all viewed from your Hotel Window. We had a great room with separate lounge and large bed room and the usual Parador 2 sink bath room. Dinner was good with a varied selection.
The bar staff were less than helpful although it was a busy Sunday lunch time when we arrived.

The Parador is uniquely situated in stunning and majestic scenery the receptionists were very nice and spoke excellent English. Buffet style breakfast offered plenty of choice and a good selection if fresh fruit and pastries, meat etc.
It was very difficult to get served in the bar before dinner, we were ignored even though we were the only people waiting to be served. In the dining room the food was not the standard expected,3 overcooked prawns on cannelloni in tomato sauce was a bit odd.

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, and excellent evening meal.
Our bedroom on the north facing side was over the laundry vent. Thankfully quiet during the night but very active and noisy at other times. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. Not enough on offer for the large number of guests and not enough waitresses.

The location, the surrounding views and the building are sufficient reasons to make the long drive here. even if you ignore the park, just standing on the top porch and looking at the views is sufficient. the rooms are comfortable and clean and other than the bed setup (see below) are excellent. but it’s the views and location which seals the deal - even from your rooms window. it’s worth it.
both our rooms, and from we understand the majority in this place, are 2 “twin beds” which basically means 2 single beds. my wife and I aren’t newly weds by any means, but that’s not a common setup nor an acceptable one. the restaurant is fine, but a little overhyped, especially at the price range. the town of Bielsa is by no means close so it may be your only option.

The location is pretty unique, It is not cheap to stay here but the superb and awesome views of Mont Perdido as it hides its face behind a shawl of passing clouds make it worth it. There is a good variety of walks direct from the Parador. When I stayed and it was raining we were allowed to put our motos undercover out front. Excellent service as one would expect at a parador.

overall everything was good breakfast was excellent, dinner menu was a bit unimaginative but location was breathtaking rooms were very clean and staff extremely helpful - loved it and would recommend, would re visit - if you do stay the little Chapel at the entrance to the car park is enchanting
tea and coffee in room would have been nice - there wasn't any

The location was amazing. Right in the heart of nature with mountains and waterfalls all around. The room was great with a window that opened to the view of the waterfalls. Breakfast was amazing. Very extensive buffet. A bar and outside patio was also a welcome bonus to sit outside and take in the views. Hiking trails all around. Very tranquil place to retreat to.
Everything was great!

The location is unbelievable with stunning scenery. The evening meal was of a very high quality with a good selection of wines. The staff are amenable and willing to please. What a place!
I think the breakfast could be a little better. The water for the tea wasn’t very hot and the choice of cereals was limited. These are minor quibbles however.
