La Granja is a beautiful small village near Segovia and the mountains. The Parador is in a great location. We ordered a superior room and we got a HUGE room in the corner of the building, so we had 4 (openable) windows. so we had great light and air. The bed is super big and comfortable. The bathroom is huge with a shower and a bath. Parking - a very convenient public parking behind the building. Nice Tea & coffee corner in the room with fresh dessert every day!

Minor issues: 1. Breakfast - I wish there were some fresh vegetables for breakfast. 2. It's a pity that in such a huge room the toilets are inside the bathroom / or there's only one toilet. It could have been nice to have two.

- At the breakfast buffet the staff was directly touching food items with their fingers to rearrange it. We decided to not go there anymore for the following days. - Though the hotel location is great, the town is pretty empty outside of the season or the weekend. Luckily, there was a baroque market street fair while we were there. If you want more activities or food options I recommend staying in Segovia and make a day trip to San Ildefonso instead.

Such a wonderful and charming property!! It is so nice to stay at a hotel that has history and was not overhauled to be cookie-cutter. The breakfast was very worth it with warm food made to order, a highlight I was not expecting!

The location, though great to visit the area around is not very well connected to the train station nor to Segovia central town. A hotel of this caliber should have some options available for its guests ahead of time to avoid them the worry and headache. That said, they did help get a taxi when asked!

From arrival to departure, David, was exceptionally helpful. There are two sections to the Parador complex and one was for conventions. David quickly resolved the problem of locating the correct location. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended

There was little to fault and much to commend

This is a lovely place to stay in La Granja, a beautiful, historic town with nice bars and restaurants. The gardens and royal palace are fabulous. It's a short journey to Segovia and there is good walking in the hills above the town, and good cycling opportunIties too. If you've read For Whom the Bell Tolls you will appreciate a little of La Granja's more recent history. Parking for the Parador is close and safe.

We had very little interaction with staff as the covid protocols mean that all information about the Parador is accessed by scanning a QR code. This made for a more impersonal visit, Although the room was very large and comfortable the shower wasn't great.

This hotel was just great. The facilities were special, breakfast was great, staff was informed, helpful and very nice. The rooms were huge and we loved staying at this hotel. Good start to explore Segovia and La Granja and the multiple highlights to visit.

Everything! The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The hotel amenities were wonderful- beautiful pool, great spa! Lovely staff! Amazing breakfast!!! All around an excellent hotel!

Everything was perfect!

Large room and en suite. Good breakfast. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice patio inside hotel. Gardens and palace a few hundred metres away. Very busy at weekend.

Parking mainly away from the hotel approx 250 metres. Hotel a bit difficult to find because of one way system and Parador sign posts either non existent or inaccurate. Slippery bath when showering. Food in restaurant ( two nights) was at best average.

It blew me away. It was amazing but does not look like the photo. The room was huge. The surroundings peaceful.

The reception staff did not speak English.

Breakfast, location, decor and overall facilities. Large room.

Rooms a bit austere...would have appreciated a nespresso machine or at least a kettle.
