Spotlessly clean room in part residential building very close to Atocha Station. We arrived after the staff had left - and departed before they arrived the next day, but were sent very clear access and departure instructions in Spanish and English. Getting into the building worked flawlessly. We had a front room with a small balcony. The road outside was very busy, but the soundproofing was phenomenal - we could hardly hear a thing with the doors shut. Help yourself to coffee and tea and pastries for breakfast was very welcome with an 05:15 start!

Perfect location - walking distance to Atocha railway station and subway. Close to attractions like Retiro park and Prado museum. The room was small but very practical. All you need for short city break in Madrid. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff responding quickly to WhatsApp or messages. Self-service check-in and -out.

I enjoyed the view from my front room but for some sensitive people it can be a bit noisy.

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Still 5 minutes walk to Retiro Park ("back entrance"), and 15 minutes to el Prado. Friendly and helpful staff. Just a few hundred meters from Puerta Atocha.

The rooms as quite small. Not a big problem, but there's nowhere to leave a suitcase open all the time. There's a lift, but you'll have to carry your luggage half-a-floor to reach it. (Well, there is actually a wheelchair lift for this first stretch, but I never bothered checking if they've got the key.)

Location was amazing, right next to Atocha station. Neighborhood is really quiet and safe. The residents that live in the building are very friendly always saying good morning and hello. Room was much more spacious than I expected and the bathroom is really modern. AC was a plus in the hot Spanish summer. Breakfast includes some small muffins and coffee. Water was also available but by the time I got there it was pretty warm.

Great location near retiro Park and atocha train station, clean and comfortable.

I didn't like the fact of having to wait until 2pm to check in as I had an early flight, I hope to stay there again next year, in March or April possibly and maybe this matter might be rectified.

The hotel has 8 rooms (hence the name) which are very well attended and cleaned daily by a kind lady. Possibility to arrive a bit earlier than the check-in time and let luggage at the reception in case of late check-out, which is appreciated. It was nice to discover on site that water, cookies, croissants and hot beverages are offered on a complimentary basis in the common area. The area is a residential one and therefore you will find lots of restaurants enjoyed by locals. They are cheaper than in the city centre. The room was rather big and the bathroom was modern.

The rooms are located close by, along a single corridor. Although people were respectful of others when I was there, I can imagine that sometimes things might be different. If you arrive after 3 pm, check-in is a bit more complicated.

Allover very clean nice & clean room with brand new furniture and very accessible location. Excellent experience for the value and proposal; just had few hours to rest and have a good dinner downtown, before i go back to the airport from the bus station that is 3 mins walk away form the hotel.

We liked the location and cleanliness of the room. Easy to get in and extremely anonymously relation with the check in procedure and the property. Fresh mineral water, coffe and tea at your free disposal. A successfully updated version of the old fashioned "pensiones" that I used to visit in my long time ago trips to Madrid. Highly recommended to short visits to the "Foro". Air conditioning working properly, hot and well pressured water at the shower place, healthy and clean mattresses and pillows.

We didn't spend time enough to find any bad thing

Staff professional, friendly and helpful, room clean, bed good, shower good, wi-fi good, room price great for this location. Free coffee, tea, cocoa, mini muffins and croissants at the reception area where you can sit and chill. There is even free milk in the small fridge (you can put your stuff there too). The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere. Some would say rooms are maybe small and not so quiet but for what do you need a big room when you are in a town like Madrid, you are anyway all day out... At least we are :) And when we talk about silence, you can not really have that in a big city and at this location which is in the city center (probably in a big hotel with additional isolation but for that you need to pay much more money). In my opinion this small hotel is a perfect place to stay and we will definitely come back when we are again in Madrid.

This is a great place to stay:10mins walk to Atocha train station and Metro. There is a supermarket just up the road and a easy to use laundry as well on the other side. The room was a little small but the bed was comfortable and the shower was great Everything was clean and tidy and although it is on a busy road there was no real traffic noise other than the occasional distant siren This a great place
