The standard room has a tiny open closet with minimal space for clothes. However the suite has a big closet and plenty space.

Very new hotel in the very heart of Madrid with easy walk to every direction. The design is fresh, the facilities are well thought through and as the hotel has its own bakery the breakfast is way above usual standard. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and supportive by offering immediate solution to all our questions.

There is an ongoing renovation in the park right in front of the hotel but which will be completed soon - likely being a great feature in the neighborhood. The room offered less drawers / shelves than anticipated which can be a difficulty for those traveling with more clothes.

Experience was amazing. Property is in the heart of Madrid.

The hotel has a good central location, near to Gran Via and also to Puerta del Sol. Availability is fine with public transportation (metro and bus stations are nearby), but catastrophic with car, as the hotel is practically in pedestrian zone and the Plaze del Carmen is still in reconstruction. The surrounding is crowded and laud, but sound isolation of the hotel is good and hence we did not find it disturbing. The room design is beautiful, though the rooms are a bit small. We found the light concept perfect, especially the night lights. The furniture is in good condition, but we fund the open shelves not comfortable for storage. We found the bed very good. All the young staff was very kind and helpful all the time.

Our wish to have the same room what we had at the previous occasion was unfortunately ignored, though we reserved the room three months in advance. We can again mention we had the best quality breakfast we ever had in a hotel, but the staff was even more unorganized than last time we were in the hotel. We had to wait to be seated, our order was forgotten and the service was slow. The hotel is good, but for the price one can expect better and more attentive service also at the breakfast.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the experience pleasant. However, the ongoing roadwork around the hotel caused significant inconvenience during our stay. On the bright side, the hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the main street with fantastic shopping options like Zara, Mango, and Primark. While the construction was a drawback, the location and service still make it worth considering.

Close to Gran Via, beautiful hotel and rooms, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms. Reception staff excellent. Amazing breakfast a la carte.

Pool and rooftop is small and can be crowded. Hit and miss with the staff overall. Some nice, some a little less, mostly for the food service. Pricy overall but the location and luxury demand it. Crowded reception when check in due to lack of space. Not easy to drive to the hotel (and around) and no valet parking offered. Have a deal with nearby parking but acknowledge that discount doesn’t always work due to automated machine. Would expect better from a 5-star hotel.

I am writing this to express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received during my stay at your hotel from 21 to 23 April 2024. The staff at Thompson Hotel Madrid made our honeymoon visit a memorable one, and I would like to give a special shout-out to Roman for her outstanding service. Roman welcomed us with open arms and went the extra mile to make our visit special. Her kind and hospitable nature made us feel right at home. She was attentive to our needs and was always available to help us with any questions we had. I highly appreciate the effort Roman and the hotel staff put in to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The wonderful experience we had at your hotel will remain with us forever.

I had simple coffee and croissants / pain au chocolates for breakfast…delicious! However, breakfast options were plentiful at the Omar restaurant (attached to the hotel). I enjoyed the rooftop patio and pool. It was a great respite after a long day in the heat. Nice bar snacks and drinks! The concierge services for assisting in taxis and wake up calls and room / cleaning were excellent. Staff were friendly and polite. They helped my colleague as she forgot her glasses in her room. They found the item after her consent and promptly sent it in a taxi to our business meeting. Great service! My bottled water & coffee were replenished when I asked for additional quantities in my room. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and shower had great water pressure and temperature. Location was very central close to Plaza del Sol, Gran Via, Chueca and a 15 min walk from the Palace and 20min walk to Park de Retiro. Lots of shopping and amenities at your doorstep. Maybe a little too much shopping !

Not much! In the morning, there was only one person behind the coffee station. Another person would be helpful for the morning business rush. However, the staff were very accommodating and lovely!
