We had a really great stay, and only wished we could have taken more advantage of staying IN the villa! It’s a simple place but complete. You have a comfortable bed, a decent shower and toilet, a closet, and some storage. Towels, soap, and hair dryer also provided. Naomí kindly packed us a “picnic” (breakfast) for the 2 days we left the hotel very early, because breakfast is only from 8:30-10:30. Meanwhile, Adriana was amazing on the remaining mornings we actually got to eat breakfast at the hotel. The offerings are simple: cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastry, cold cuts. You also get the option of eggs and bacon. Coffee, tea can be requested as often. This place is great if you’d like to stay close to the beach, walking distance. To get into the old town/city, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the bus stop plus another 10-15 minute bus ride depending on traffic.

It’s not ideal if you’ll be doing day trips where you have to leave very early and get back quite late. If your meeting points/drop-off points are in the city centre, it’ll be about 20-30mins additional travel time. We did 2 day trips and were very exhausted with this set-up - BUT that’s not the fault of the property! Just something for those booking to consider!

We had a lovely 4-night stay. Lovely room, great breakfast, everything very clean and in good order. The hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood, with a good selection of restaurants etc about 10-15 minutes’ walk away. The centre of Malaga is a bit further, but there is a good bus service or a 30-45 minute easy walk into the centre. There is also an excellent cycle path along the sea front, leading to the centre and bikes can be rented from the hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful service from Naomi, who did an amazing job of handling reception, breakfast service etc..

Villa Lorena in Málaga is a charming place to stay, with a cozy room and a spacious balcony perfect for enjoying the Mediterranean vibe. The location is unbeatable—right in one of the best spots in the city. While the toilet could have used a little more attention, the overall experience was fantastic. The real standout? The breakfast. Hands down, one of the best we’ve ever had during a hotel stay—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There’s also a nice pool outside, which looked very inviting, though we didn’t brave it since it was December. And we can’t forget Naomi, the villa’s manager and the reason for this 10 star review. She was an absolute gem, always friendly and ready to assist with anything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended!

The toilet wasn’t quite winning any cleanliness awards

Naomi was very friendly and extremely helpful. She helped us with finding our way to different attractions and booking taxis.

The breakfast was OK . Not much choice and the hot breakfast offering was limited. The furniture in the breakfast/reception area wasn't very attractive , white plastic, would have bee better placed in the garden Naomi was the only member of staff on duty, she was cooking, serving breakfast and managing the reception desk with departures at the same time. The bedroom was very small and the so was the bathroom and shower cubicle

Lovely villa, small and beautifully proportioned, Naomi was exceptionally welcoming and was always ready to help. The Room was really comfortable with a big bathroom/wet room, with coffee/tea facilities. There was also a fridge in reception with drinks available for a very reasonable price.. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Outside area with pool was very peaceful. Parking is also available for a feed but well worth it. The surrounding roads are hard to park in.

Bit noisy being next to the front door at night and outside lights left on all night.

Indeed, this is a charming boutique hotel. We praise the friendly, helpful service given to us by Naomi on reception. She was brilliant with us. The area was great for us. It is in a quiet up market residential area. Just one small hill to climb to the Hotel. Taxis are pretty cheap and there are plenty available. No need for Uber or Bolt. 10mins walk to the beach 20 mins walk to the port and 30 mins to the old town. Our bed was a great size double but our bathroom and shower a little small.

Beautiful building in a quiet leafy affluent neighbourhood a short walk from the nearest beach and a quick ride into town or Pedragalejo/El Palo on the bus Comfy bed, nice balcony and welcoming pool. Feels like your staying in someone’s mansion. We had room 6 (Sophia Loren). Elena is a smily, efficient and welcoming host. Great communication and clear instructions to enter the hotel and room (after reception closed at 4pm). Honesty bar is a great idea and not overpriced. Loads of outside area for chilling out by the pool.

A very minor issue but would have loved a coffee machine (with pods) in the room and a small fridge.

Indeed a charming little hotel, with great breakfast (at extra cost) in a quite location, about 10 min by foot from the beach and beach restaurants. Sitting in the evening sun next to the swimming pool with a beer or two from the bar was great. The whole hotel with its marble staircase has class.

There is no restaurant or bar, but there is a "honesty bar" where drinks and chips aso are available and you pay at your last day of stay. The rooms are rather small.

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet leafy residential area about 10 mins walk from the sea. The room was clean and very comfortable with lots of storage. There was a kettle and even a little cake (speciality of Malaga). We enjoyed our tea and cake sitting out on the balcony. We had arrived after reception hours, but Naomi had been in contact with details of how to get in and that was fine. All the staff, especially Naomi, were friendly and helpful. The hotel had lots of facilities...pool, loungers, a living room with a small kitchen, tv and pc. You could even hire bikes. We would definitely stay here again.

The water does not taste good...but this is not the fault of the hotel. A little far from the centre, but buses are quite nearby...so not really a problem!

Property was quiet and stylish. Room was small but we had everything we needed. Great to have kettle in room & communal fridge that you can use in lobby. Honest bar very handy. All safe were amazing, nothing was a bother to them. Walking distance to bus stop and promenade. Short taxi journey into Malaga.

Loved everything but being a coffee lover would have loved option purchasing proper coffee available at breakfast throughout the day.
