It's an interesting place, in a fairly remote place and Marcilla town is fair distance away. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and as we were on the ground floor there was the opportunity to sit outside in the sunshine. The restaurant menu is OK though the translation to English was somewhat lacking in clarity, but the prices are good and there was a bottle of wine thrown in for the cost of the meal. Breakfast was OK though I wouldn't say the best. All we wanted. Lots of parking available and a quiet area so we felt it was probably secure. We quite liked it, and for an overnight stay it was fine.

For the price it was fine. Nothing much against except the size of the bar of soap provided in the bathroom.

We enjoyed the hotel so much on our journey to Southern Spain that we changed our travel date so that we could stay there on the return journey. The welcome we received from the owner was exceptional as we were the only guests and although the restaurant was closed that evening, he made us coffee and made us feel like old friends. It is a lovely building with large rooms and a huge bed. The area around is excellent for walking our 4 dogs and the breakfast was great. We will always stay at Villa Marcilla when travelling to Spain.

Love this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the manager/owner. He is very accommodating. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated just off the motorway between Pamplona and Zaragoza which is really convenient for us. The windows are double glazed so you don’t hear any road noise. There is no choice for breakfast, everyone gets the same, but it is sufficient.

The entry system isn’t easy to work out if you’re not Spanish but the manager/owner is on hand to help. It would to have a few international TV channels.

Cheap and cheerful, spacious room, lovely staff, very dog friendly, generous breakfast. It's a good base for exploring Navarra if travelling by car.

There was a smell of mildew in the bathroom. While the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Marcilla, it is not really possible to walk to the town so you do need to drive anywhere you want to go.

Great room, great bed, bathroom. Ease of checking in and out. Friendliness and efficiency of management and staff. I would happily use this as a stopover again. No problem for the dog.

Only one issue. On the morning before arriving at the hotel, I was sent an email from Booking which included a copy of the hotel dinner menu. When we arrived, we were informed that we couldn't have dinner. The restaurant was closed - because it's Sunday. We had been driving all day, and could easily have bought some food at a service area en route. If we had been informed.

Location from the motorway was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was good, limited choice but fine for us. Manager was exceptional in helping us.

No refreshments available (other than water) either in the room or bar etc until restaurant opened at 8pm. Otherwise this hotel would have got full marks.

This was an exceptional find just off the motorway. Staff were excellent and the hotel itself is lovely and very comfortable. The food in the restuarant was great and offered at a reasonable price. Breakfast was good too. Free parking available and they accept dogs which was a plus for us. Would definitely stay again and cant recommend highly enough. Fantastic.

This is a fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Diego was exceptionally helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of choice. Close to the motorway for easy access and exceptional value for your money. I will definitely use this hotel again next year.

The rooms did not have any tea or coffee making facilities which would have been appreciated.

extremely clean, easy to check in , excellent value, owner was lovely and took time to make sure we were comfortable. dog was happy there also. food was excellent value for money and we would stay there again no problem. just off motorway also which is great for a stop over

Breakfast very good and location convenient to motorway but local area not of much interest. We did use this hotel having visited the excellent town of Olite. Dog facility was excellent.

Bed not comfortable and a second pillow per person would make TV viewing more of a pleasurable experience.
