We loved everything about our stay. Every single member of staff there was exceptional! We booked the suite on a half-board basis; some dishes had a supplement charge but were well worth it. It was amazing! Good food choices at the hotel's restaurant, "Cabeza Del Toro.". Beautiful architecture within the hotel keeping to most of what the building was, an old Palacio (Palace), very central to every tourist site, the museums, monasteries, churches, main street, castle. Big bonus: the hotel has parking for guests if you're driving there yourself. I cannot stress this out enough. The staff you currently have are an exceptional team, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Nothing! The hotel and the town itself exceeded our expectations; we got exactly what we wanted—a nice quiet break away just the 2 of us, exploring something totally new to us.

This is a stylish, and beautiful hotel in a wonderful classic hilltop Pueblo Blanco. The town has narrow, steep streets never really planned for cars. The hotel has a drop off spot for luggage and a large private car park nearby. We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a road trip around Andalusia. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff who served breakfast, bar and restaurant were really friendly. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Try the walk around the towns historic sights, (map provided by reception). The big church of Santa Maria on the hill is well worth a visit if you like medieval art.

I wish we had planned to stay here a few more nights!

The location is great, we had a fantastic view from our room balcony. The chatter of people visiting the small shop and the bar across the little square gave real atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and personable.

Despite the apparent variety of dishes on offer in the restaurant the eating experience was rather disappointing. Finding the hotel was challenging. The narrow streets necessitate one way driving and the route to the hotel is complicated. It is best to ask a local how to get to the Plaza Llanete Herederos.

We enjoyed the spacious room and bathroom overlooking the street, the comfortable bed, historic features also the interesting public spaces on the ground floor. The breakfast was generous and varied with kind waiters.

As other comments have pointed out, access by car is tortuous though once we reached the hotel they were helpful in directing us to the carpark uphill. Medina Sidonia is badly signposted altogether - not the hotel's fault - and finding our way out of town was also tricky!

the room was huge! (we had a suite that fits three people) And decorated in a tasteful, subdued way with moorish style. The window with small balcony looked over to the sunset as well as the church. The location was five moinutes walking to the town center. The town is not to be missed- beautiful people and great history!

I loved everything--- but if the window is open at night, you will hear the truck pick up the garbage at the back of the hotel... but window closed- problem fixed!!

Beautiful historic building tastefully restored. Bar area and restaurant very atmospheric. Good location for all the sites in the town. Parking is a plus point but directions to the parking should be given before arrival. Bedrooms large and the large beds are very comfortable.

Plates were cold in the restaurant and the lamb chops were practically meatless !

Beautiful old building beautifully renovated, clean and convenient....In this ancient village the old stone houses are beautiful and white with elegant wrought iron window bars and balconies....but the "streets" are barely wide enough for a car...which only adds to the genuine charm. However parking was available too and there was a useful restaurant and bar within.

The location was excellent. The hotel is in a very nice building. The service at the reception was very good and helpful, especially when helping us with our bikes. Thank you.

The only minor issue was with the restaurant. The food was not the best then, but we were in a low season on Sunday, and there were not many guests so that it may be the wrong timing.

Excellent location in centre of a very beautiful old town. Hotel in a beautifully restored palace very simply done. Everywhere within walking distance.

As with many hotels the shower head was loose and although the hotel has free parking it is a bit of a nightmare reach!

Room no 9 is spacious and beautifully appointed, all In white. A settee, gorgeous bed and bedding and shuttered. A retreat from the heat. Lola the receptionist was so helpful on our arrival, getting us to the hotel car park personally. Great lunches, friendly service in a lovely atmospheric town. Tourist Info was just around the corner.

Stressful driving in the area due to one-way, steep streets, too-narrow to move in a big car.
