Everything! The staff were very polite and helpful - breakfast was excellent with a huge amount of choice. Very good location as you were away from the main tourist area in a modern Plaza but only a couple of minutes walk to the busy Balcon de Europa. My tip when eating out is not to always go down to the Balcon where it’s very touristy and most restaurants have the same menu but to turn left out of the hotel and walk up the hill where you will find some of the quieter, better and less touristy restaurants - La Posada Iberia is a tiny gem famed for its amazing steaks, also Colosseo, a lovely Italian just up the road and Oliva, which is actually next door to the hotel for fine dining. Pizza Bar on the corner just to the right of the Museum is also excellent and far more upmarket than its name might suggest.

Nothing whatsoever although if you book a room at the back it will be less noisy if you want to sit on the balcony as the ones at the front overlook the Plaza where there are sometimes children’s parties going on.

The property is just exceptional, the location is perfect. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are spotless. This was our second year returning and will definitely be returning next year. Highly recommend this hotel.

There is much noise caused by renovations on the property next to and underneath the hotel. There is much noise from drilling, banging and hammering from 9am up until as late as 9pm and we were immediately above this, I complained 3 times but was met with it’s the council we can’t do anything. We should have been informed prior to arriving and may be could have changed our plans. Eventually I asked for a move to a room higher up and further from the work, we moved on day 5 of a 10 day stay.

Central location, lovely comfortable, newly decorated room and excellent value for money with the added bonus of underground parking.

No tea or coffee making facilities, but this is quite common in Spanish hotels.

Location was perfect. Nice and quiet, especially during festival week. Staff lovely. The outdoor cafeteria served basic simple but lovely food and staff very accommodating

For a very small pool, that opened at 09.30am when planning on spending the day up on the roof all loungers were saved already by 09.30! very rude and selfish. Some people didn’t come and sit on them for 4-5 hours later. Some couples saved 4!!!! You should not use a bed until you actually sit on it. People were sitting for 2 hours then going for lunch for 4 hours then returning???? Rude. Otherwise happy with the space

Very central to all restaurants cafe's, bar's. 1 minute walk to the church where we had a wedding to attend, and the balcon de Eurpoe. Breakfast at hotel was basic but perfect, rooms cleaned everyday. Bar downstairs top class service and v reasonable priced drinks with outside seating . Would recommended this hotel for a basic stay, nothing fancy but perfect for a long weekend.

Excellent staff, very friendly and informative. The location is excellent, we used the bar for the continental breakfast for our 3 night stay and it was very good. Good selection of food, very popular with locals for meals at lunchtime and in the evening. Our room was a great size and was very bright, it faced onto the Plaza de Espana. The pool is excellent though quite small, plenty of loungers around various levels. There was a bar , but it was closed during our stay. We used the car park and locating the entrance for the hotel was a little awkward, but it's probably best if you head for the underground public parking at the Plaza de Espana and park there for a short time. You can then walk 2 mins to the hotel and collect the keyfob to access their carpark, which is accessed through a large grey door as you go down the ramp before you enter the barrier of the underground public parking at the Plaza de Espana. A lot of people we met in the Hotel were regulars who sometimes stayed twice a year. We stayed here at the end of our trip around Andalusia and although only a 2* hotel, this was better than any of the other 4* hotels we stayed in at Seville, Cordoba or Granada. The reviews when we booked were exactly right. I'd certainly book here again if visiting Nerja.

Well placed close to the sea front but just far enough to be away from the main tourist centre. The hotel is clean and has direct underground parking at 12 euros per day. Essential to be able to come and go hassle free .The pool is a real bonus and we alternated with the beach .The breakfast is good but not varied if you are spending more than a week. The room was a reasonable size and the bed was excellent. The balcony was useful but the view was of no interest if a panoramic sea view is your thing

More shelving in the bathroom would be an improvement and real glasses instead of plastic cups in the bathroom

The reasons for choosing this hotel are location, price, and rooftop pool. It did not disappoint! Location is just perfect, I had view across Plaza de Espana. It's at 5 min walking from Balcon de Europa and Playa Calahonda. Room and bathroom are spacious and so does the terrace. There are a lot of storage spaces, a big mirror in the room, balcony door has net, bed is confortable and has 2 different pillows. A/C working well, TV and mini fridge. Swimming pool is amazing with great view (I just loved it!). Cleaning service available every day. I was lucky and my room was ready earlier so I could check-in a bit earlier :) I really hope to get back soon, gracias!!!

Room is a bit outdated, but I did not have a problem with that, I checked photos before so I knew what to expect.

The location was absolutely perfect and right in the centre of where we needed to be. To say it was only a 2 star hotel, the facilities, staff and modern decor was of a much higher standard. The price was amazing and we would absolutely stay here again! Friendly staff who ordered us a taxi and the cleaners were fantastic. The jacuzzi and roof top pool were a beautiful way to spend our days, looking over the town and were open for 12hrs a day.

The only downside was the comfort of the bed which was rock hard and by the end of the holiday, I was actually quite sore.
