Wow what a fab place with plenty of space in the room to work around our cases on the large table and baggage rack. The bath and shower was great . Very comfortable beds with lovely fresh duvets . Set in peaceful countryside. Really interesting history and well worth a good look around. Functional church still used. English speaking staff very helpful and friendly. The delight was definitely the food, reasonably priced evening meal (three course €17.50) but we thought the breakfast at €15 seemed out of proportion price wise. We didn't have the breakfast but saw a mountain of cheese and cold meats. Easy plentiful free parking and seemingly lots of opportunity to go hiking from the carpark if you have the time and inclination.   Would highly recommend and certainly go back .

More reasonably priced breakfast options

As good as many Parador’s we have stayed at. A wonderful refurbished Monastery where expense has not been spared. The accommodation was fabulous but at very reasonable price. Excellent attention by all the staff, with special mention to Aina and Carolina and the manager who really made us feel at home. Although we didn’t eat in the restaurant, we chose to have tapas in the cafeteria, which was served by two ladies employed there who happily translated the menu for us with some great recommendations. Parking is close to the property and although open, we felt it was very secure. A hidden gem of the beaten track but certainly worth the drive. We will certainly return.

Can’t think of anything.

The hotel might have been a Parador - and better than some, particularly on price! 800 years of history here and at a reasonable cost per night. Breakfast was very good. The two young members of staff were exceptionally hard working and fun to talk to. Our room was clean and functional. Aircon was good. The restaurant served very good food although a tad expensive

It was a long way from a town and too far to explore in the evening. Our route was supposed to take us through Andorra but Tom Tom had other ideas! It took us over one hour before we hit the motorway home.

everything. Staying at a monastery was epic, the value for the room was way too good, the property was beautiful, surrounded by nature, everything was perfect

Requested ice upon our arrival and they didnt have any. The restaurant had already closed but they manaed to get us a small cup with 3 cubes, obviously didnt work to get our beers cool but still appreciate the effort

I have stayed here before, the monstry is set in its own, large and well kept grounds surrounded by rolling hills. Peaceful and relaxed, we'd happily have stayed longer. The restaurant is superb, breakfast excellent

Dinner service was very slow. This is not to criticise the staff who coped admirably with very limited resources, the restaurant comfortable, the food very good

A haven of peace after a long drive. We were later than planned but the staff still gave us a much needed meal. Simple rooms, no fuss, very comfortable beds, enough charging sockets, really relaxing and soothing environment.

The bath was a bit slippery while showering. But excellent shower and safety handles were there

Wonderful and calm place to stay. We regret to not have stayed a day longer. The staff is extremely helpful and the place exceptional. I have to add: the room had no air conditioning. We were there in autumn. In plain summer with 45 C it may be a bit hot.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

All was excellent except we had a bath and made it difficult. But we managed. Our evening meal was very tasty and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating .

Only no walk in shower, only a bath . It was sunk into the floor so we were able to use it. My husband is disabled.

Monastery is beautiful and there is a serene feeling which you can enjoy by walking around. There are cycling and walking routes (you can rent a bike). Accommodation is good value for money. Staff is friendly. There is a lunch menu available.

Bathroom had some mold in the walls and curtain. Breakfast is quite simple for the price.
