Excellent location, v good value, clean and comfortable.

Exceeded expectations for the price.

Andrea was on reception when we checked in. She was friendly and helpful. She directed us to a lovely cafe around the corner, Rialto cafe. Don't miss it if you love coffee and scrumptious cakes ! Belen and Alba helped us with many and varied queries . Our room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed a very well presented and tasty breakfast each morning.

Location was really good, staff friendly and the price was good value. Good sound insulation, important for Spanish cities in town centres!

The outside of the building was decorated beautifully. The inside had been remodelled in a more modern style. While most people seem to like this according to the reviews I read, all these interiors look the same to me and have no character. The room and bathroom were clean, there were signs of needed maintenance. Shower door a bit lose, drainage in the shower made a strange sound.

Location brilliant apart from the fact that the annual festivities were taking place in the week that we were there so the squares outside the hotel were taken up with stands that obscured the normal spaces between the hotel and the cathedral. Good breakfast and decent sized, comfortable room although a bit noisy in the mornings.

Better sound proofing inside the hotel would have been a bonus. It wasn't the hotel's fault that the exterior noise ent on a bit as we were staying there during the one week of the annual fare.

Fantastic location in the center of Oviedo. Very good breakfast, helpful staff and lovely room with stained glass windows.

Parking is always difficult in European cities. The hotel offers a discount (which is helpful) to a nearby lot but the parking spaces are very narrow and you have to climb stairs to get out of the garage- with luggage, that’s not great. This is certainly not the hotel’s fault but just a heads-up.

the check in was very smooth, and i was pleasantly surprised that our room was upgraded to triple room, the bed is very comfortable, and we even had a coffee machine with capsules supplied. the hotel was in a perfect location, very close to all attractions.

there are only two things that can be improved, the first, and it is important, there are coffee capsules and tea bags, but no kettle to make the tea, will be nice to have a kettle to make the tea, and the other issue is that is less important, that there are no channels in English on the TV.

It was in a fabulous old building directly looking over the beautiful square in front of the cathedral. The rooms were a good size, tastefully furnished with lovely touches such as a welcome chocolate, complementary mineral water and a coffee machine. There were also arm chairs and a coffee table so you didn’t have to sit on the bed. If this hotel was in the UK you’d pay at least double if not triple and still think it was good value. The buffet breakfast fantastic, staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The location was very good. We asked for a room with a view and were pleased with a view of the Church and square like the hotel pictures on the website. We had a small balcony. Breakfast was good too. Hot dishes included scrambled eggs and bacon. One can park in front of the hotel to off load luggage. Parking garage is located behind the hotel and you do get a 10% discount. The lady who checked us in was very friendly, but so too, were all the other staff. The hotel is surrounded by shops restaurants, cafes, bars etc. There is a beautiful park nearby, which we enjoyed.

The room was noisy due to it being located facing the square, but we did ask for a room with a view, so we expected that, but it was noisy. The room was small and so too was the double bed. No bidet in the bathroom. Nespresso machine did not have the original Nespresso coffee pods. There was a blue light which came on at night which illuminated the room. We covered it up by putting luggage in front of it.

The view over Plaza Porlier with the cathedral at the back is 10/10. Spacious room with hardwood floors. Comfortable beds and huge, fluffy towels. The receptionist recommended Tierra Astur for typical food and it was excellent. Fast and efficient check-in. The underground parking was a 5-min walk. The hotel has the best location to the old town, cathedral, museums and restaurants and very good value. Highly recommended.

I found the pillows to be soft and lumpy. No tea cups or kettle for hot water to make tea. (Nespresso machine and espresso cups were provided)

Beautiful building and comfortable room, very central. Welcoming staff . Very wet weather during our visit but we visited the Cathedral and some of the other beautiful buildings and the hotel stored our bags while we went out. Very good breakfast. Short stopover stay but we would love to return.
