The setting is just incredible. It was everything that I hoped for from the online photos. The staff were also very kind and attentive. Lovely very big room with balcony. The pool was extremely well maintained and just fabulous. Ignore the pool times. The staff wanted us to enjoy the pool even tough we arrived at 6pm when it is supposed to close.

Slightly dated furniture and fixtures, but well maintained.

For breakfast a wide range of excellent food, eggs and bacon available, good service. Evening meal excellent food. Swimming pool fantastic, inside and grounds of hotel wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Would be a good idea to have some larger spoons at breakfast (dessert spoons) for eating fruit and cereals. Tennis court setting and glass surround was wonderful but the court surface not very good and so an upgrade would be a good idea.

The location is beautiful and the staff very helpful.

The hotel used to be family owned, since it has been taken over it has got a little more expensive and the breakfast is not as good as it once was! Also a sign said the swimming pool is only open July and August which was disappointing as the weather was very nice and we would have loved to use it!

The hotel is surrounded by hills and beautiful scenery. Lots of walks right at the back of the hotel. We went to the restaurant at the hotel for dinner and was the best meal of our whole holiday! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay due to being out of season.

Hotel wonderfull Location, views, and outdoor spaces.Great quality of breakfast, expeptional good tastes and wine at the restaurant.

Little old-fashioned room fit out, maybe slippers, and some personal care products should be provided.

I would like to thank all the staff for their attentive service. And the breakfast buffet and the a la carte dinner were delicious. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

There was nothing bad about it

Tranquil...didn't have time to sample the evening meal, but breakfast was good and plentiful. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed.

Nothing. The spa option on the bath was not working which we reported. Not really a problem for us.

What a lovely location at the foot of the surrounding mountains, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was great and the breakfast was fantastic and well catered, I would definitely stay here again.

The location was spectacular. The staff were amazing. Food was unbelievably good. Swimming pool. Spa bath, Air conditioning. Just what you need after a long day's driving. FANTASTIC!!!

There were no coffee making facilities I the room. But staff sorted out boiling water. Which rectified the situation.

Hotel:The hotel is located in a fantastic spot at the end of a rural road, so all the peace and quiet we needed. The grounds are well maintained and although our stay was just one night, we had nice walks and we could imagine staying more nights next time. The design of the hotel is a bit awkward, but if you realize that this hotel is in the same family for over 11 (?) generations, you understand the additions to the furniture and building are made during different periods which clearly shows. Its not a problem actually some items are back in fashion but do not expect this hotel follows the newest trends.. which is nice as well. Staff: The frontdesk staff was personal, professional en very efficient. We felt that we were expected and the staff interacted with our dog which was nice. We were guided to the room and the main features of the hotel where explained when walking to the room. The restaurant and bar staff was friendly and professional. Room: Our room was spacious, the design dated but in a positive manner. All furniture fixtures and fittings were in excellent condition and spotless. The bathroom was spacious and had a good size bathtub with decent shower. The views from the room and all over the property are breathtaking. Parking: covered clean safe and free! WIFI: Internet in the room was terribly slow, but we did not mention it because who wants to be online at such a wonderfull location..I am sure they could have fixed it when we needed it.

F&B SInce we were not able to eat in the restaurant ( dogs not allowed, which I fully understand) We ate outside on the terrace.The terrace menu is limited, but also lacks quality and imagination. the local wine we tried however was nice. I hope and trust that the food in the restaurant does not compare, so next time we try the restaurant. The terrace is nice comfortable and has nice views as well.
