Location literally opposite the sea. If you can get. Sea view from your room even better. We couldn’t as it was full. We had a side room which was fine. Room is not big but enough for 2 for a few nights. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They speak a little English and they always try to help. Breakfast is very good too lots of choice. The only thing is that it lacks a terrace outside. That would be the cherry on the cake! Ribadesella town is an about 10/15mn walk which is great. You can walk easily to restaurants and bars.

The room is right on the beach. I swam in the ocean and we walked the beach and promenade..We were glad that we paid extra for the breakfast as it was excellent with meat, fruit, yogurt, pastries, fresh orange juice, eggs and cheese. The receptionist took the time to recommend and call for a reservation for dinner. We would never have found the restaurant without her assistance and it was the best seafood I have ever tasted (and we live on the Pacific Ocean so often have good seafood). We waited until evening to walk over the bridge and into town and was surprised after dinner, that we did not see a lot of nightlife or people on the streets of the main town. There were bars, restaurants and ice cream open in the neighborhood around the hotel. The receptionist was exceptional and fluent in Spanish, French, German and English.

There was no bathtub or feather pillows possible due to our late reservation. We paid through booking.com and were again charged at arrival at the hotel. We believe it was an honest mistake but are glad that we caught it and were refunded for the second payment.

Amazing hotel right next to the beach. Our stay was just perfect, from the cleanliness of the facilities to the location of the hotel and, of course, the staff. Such a lovely and welcoming experience thanks to the people working at the hotel (especially the lady whose dedication and care for the clients made us feel at home). Definitely recommend!

We loved this hotel situated right on the Ribadesella paseo/boardwalk, amidst other truely charming villa’s ! We did not regret chosing a room with seaview, and although the windows were of the Velux type, we had a very good view of the sea, the beach and the beautiful surroundings. There is no traffic on the paseo, so you only hear the waves… The hotel is family-run and especially Alejandro in the breakfast room did a very good job, he was friendly in a natural way and spoke very good English. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a big plus, resulting in a score of 10 ! Ribadesella is ideally situated to explore the magnificent coastline and the Picos, also note that the hotel has its own on site parking for about 10 cars, so just perfect if you come by car :)

This is my favorite hotel ever! I was here once already 6 years ago. For this car trip we were passing by Ribadesella and I planned a stop in this cute town only to sleep here again, listening to the waves breaking on the shore. A unique experience! Of course, for this particular experience you have to make sure to book one of the rooms with sea view. However, the hotel has everything you can ask for, independently from this amazing feature. Very comfy beds, beautiful spacious rooms and bathrooms (with Rituals toiletry), an excellent fresh breakfast with plenty of sweet and savory options. The owners are very helpful, friendly and kind. Both times I felt very welcomed and cared for. I hope there will be a next time! :)) Thanks a lot! <3

We love this hotel and its location. Unfortunately we didn’t get the exact room we wanted but still loved our sea view. In the unseasonal warm temperatures we were glad to get a fan when we asked. Ribadesella is a nice location for exploring the area. We would recommend this hotel and will return.

When we went in to breakfast towards the end of the time, not all food was available and they would not restock. One should be able to have every choice until the end of the breakfast period. Also, just a suggestion: as it is a beach hotel, a water tap outside the hotel would be useful for washing sandy feet.

We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the beach. Just super. Would want a similar room if returning. Breakfast varied and plentiful. Within walking distance of good restaurants.

Fabulous location right on the promenade/beach with a lovely walk around the coast to the town, 20 minutes away. The hotel was immaculate and spotlessly clean.Lovely spacious room with sea view, large bathroom and shower.The owner / manager and staff were so nice and helpful making our stay so enjoyable.We would definitely return and stay there again.

OMG! What an awesome place! I cannot wait to come back! It was like sleeping on the beach! Honestly, we all have sound effects we sleep to including ocean waves. Here, you get the real deal and if the waves clap just right, you will wake up and remember you are in the closest hotel you can ever legally sleep at next to the ocean. Wow! the waves woke me up but hell, that is heaven. As you lay in your bed, you will see the lighthouse light and now you know you are in heaven. I did not want to leave. awesome place! Oh, has a refrigerator and a bed! Ha! Seriously, a must stay on the Camino. A must stay in life! Thanks! Best hotel on the Camino del Norte! The Best!

The attractive building, its good sized rooms and exceptionally clean and comfortable accommodation. The staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfasts, though Continental had lots of choice including some hot dishes. Its position on the seafront, easy access to mountains and coastal areas make it an ideal holiday base.
