The staff were very helpful and cheerful. We had a seaview with balcony and the view from our room was wonderful and the beds very comfortable. Ample wardrobe space and a fridge, also wifi in the room. We opted to stay an extra night at the end of our stay and we were lucky enough to be given the same room without having to move. The location is fabulous, right by the beach and close to restaurants and bars.

The whole place needs updating, it's very tired and out of date, especially the toilet, ( I have not seen a pull chain cistern for many, many years). The doors aren't self lockable, we had strangers coming into our room twice, after that we remembered to lock our door with the key after we entered. However, none of the above would stop us from staying there again.

We live in Valencia, Spain, and come here to Santiago de la Ribera 3 or for 4 times a year to recharge ourselves and chill out. We chose this hotel this time as it had a Pet friendly policy, they made my little dog very welcome. Central to the beach, restaurants, and plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets. The room had a great balcony with spectacular views of the sea and the paseo. Great location if you have children as there is an ice-cream parlour downstairs, a small fun fair type activity area right outside, and the beach is 10 meters away. In the off season this is closed so it is very quiet. You may also be treated to a spectacular aerial display as the Spanish Air Force Academy is based at the end of the beach. The towels were changed daily, the beds were made and the room was cleaned daily. A Spanish breakfast was available if required at a very good price.

My room had a connecting door to the next room which although it was securely locked from my side it was not light or sound proof and I could hear the occupants phone calls, tv etc very clearly because of this. The light from the next room also came into mine once I had turned off the light to sleep . My little dog didn't like it, however this would be a plus if you are a family with children as they would be close to the parents.

Our second stay here this year as it is excellent value for money. We had a big balcony overlooking the sea, such a wonderful view. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. That's all you need! Easy access to everything, bars, restaurants, etc or just a lovely walk along the promenade. We will return next year.

It needs modernisation, but if that happens then the price would go up too.

Great location. Parking close by. Plenty of bars and eateries. Fabulous views from our room. Large balcony.

Very dated but generally clean Deep clean and re decorating would freshen things. Not hotels fault but very noisy outside, from early evening until 3am people out drinking and chatting. 5am street cleaning.

We absolutely loved the beach views from our balcony. It had everything we wanted for a comfortable stay. Aircon, private bathroom and slept well every night. I really enjoyed the hotels breakfast every morning. All i wanted really: coffee was good and delicious fresh orange juice and toast with jam. All for a very good price. Friendly staff made us feel cared for and welcome.

There was only one morning when for whatever reason they forgot to give us fresh towels. But it was sorted pretty quick when I told reception. Its clear that the bathroom could do with a renovation... But everything working fine so cant complain. I wouldn't recommend drinking the water from the tap either. We got some bottles from the shop next-door and put them in the fridge in our room so they were nice and cold. If you are a TV snob, it probably isn't for you, as its quite small and basic.

Second stay here at this hotel. Staff are excellent like Hose Manuel. He helped me with a few questions and went out if his way to accomodate me. Look the hotel needs updating but the views are to die for. The balconies are a good size, with the sun on them most of the day. I can store my stand up paddle in a store room. The air condition works really well. The WiFi is excellent this year. On all floors. I love the noise of the locals and their vibrance, but if you want quiet choose else we are on the front with all the bars, restaurants and shops. I asked for a kettle and there were a few ready for other customers. There is a fridge for snacks and ice creams if you buy them from local Spar shop. I looked at another same type of hotel yes updated but everything else the same and it is double the price...WOW...that for me speaks for itself. Enjoy.

Possible update.

It's a simple room for a simple price in a beautiful location opposite the beach. If you want luxury, then this not for you . Perfect for a beach breach amongst a bustling location with plenty to do .

Air con was outdated but can't complain for the price
