My wife and I stayed at the hotel in late May 2024. It is situated 1.5km from the Cathedral on the Camino up from Portugal so pleasant walk in the evening into the old town for the Cathedral, museums, restaurants and bars. Great to see the pilgrims arriving and celebrating completing the walk in the Cathedral square.The hotel pool is fine and there are lots of loungers on an adjacent grass area. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is very good, with choice of hot foods. We had a room overlooking the pool with a small terrace although not all have this. Beds were very good and changed daily.

Room was pleasant although quite small . We had one meal in the bar area, well served with helpful staff but basic and overcooked and could be better . There are very good restaurants and tapas bars in the Cathedral area, although as is the custom in Spain many don't open till 8 or 8-30 in the evening

Fantastic hotel. Modern. Spotlessly clean. Was a bit worried that the pool looked a bit soulless from the photos, but not at all. Gorgeous big pool with sun loungers alongside, and many more in an adjacent garden area. Spotless pool toilets/ changing area. Adjacent bar. Chilled quiet area.Really nice staff. Particular mention of the bar tender. I couldn’t understand why he had so many mentions before, but he is a really lovely man. Very professional. Very kind and funny with the children. A stand- out individual. Would highly recommend the hotel.

10-15 minutes walk from town centre, which we knew in advance, and worth the walk for the pool. Walk felt safe.

The welcoming staff, especially the bar man Luis who was super friendly and helpful. The location was good too. I thought it was nice to be out of the centre of the city but close enough to easily walk in (20 mins). The pool and gardens were also fab. Very relaxing after a week on the Camimo.

While the pool was fab it only opens from 4pm every day so I did find I needed to plan my day around that. After breakfast finishes, you also can't get a coffee, a drink or any food in the hotel until 4pm either.

The pool is fabulous as are the surrounding gardens which is great for sunbathing and relaxing. We didn't have breakfast but there is a great coffee place 3 minutes walk away - Panaderia Garcos - serves great coffee and tostados. It's a shame the hotel doesn't offer a cafe service for breakfast - coffee and croissant. The balcony is so lovely as well.

Sadly it took 3 goes to book us into the correct room. First room - someone was in there - a shock for both of us! Second room - no balcony as booked. Third room - the correct one :) Air con wasn't the best - even on the lowest setting, it was rather warm during the night. Wi-fi wasn't the most reliable either. This has all the potential of being a great hotel; just a few niggles for us. We would return though.

Nice central with central location. Very nice staff at the reception, bar and at the breakfast. The young girl at the bar was very nice. We also liked guy at the breakfast who recognized us and greeted us in our language. Breakfast - very good local selection Pool - massive pool, not crowded set in beatiful garden. Very enjoyable ! Excellent value for the money. I ve stayed in this hotel 2y ago and I came back. Its really good !

We enjoyed our stay very much. Santiago is well worth a visit even if you're not a pilgrim. The pilgrim museum is excellent. great exhibition explaining the whole pilgrim story with interesting artefacts. The hotel was attractive and comfortable. We would definitely return. The breakfast was excellent and staff very efficient. Our room was lovely and a good size. Facilities included means to make a hot drink. The hotel is well presented and very clean. Lovely, good size outdoor swimming pool. We were able to eat in the dining room and the bar and wait staff were very helpful and friendly. It is situated a little way out of Santiago so we had a short, walk to get into the main town.

The breakfast was very good with a very great selection. The barman on our first night was a great character and his rapport with customers amazing - we loved him!

On our first morning the breakfast room was drastically understaffed with many tables not cleared and the two members of staff in an impossible situation. They worked amazingly in the circumstances and were to be commended. The bar was worked by one person in the evening who had to take every order for food to the kitchen. This meant in him being away for periods at a time. Service was as a result very slow.

The property was very clean and comfortable. There is also parking on site which made it very convenient. It’s also just a short walk away from the old city. We had done some hiking on the Camino De Santiago and this was our end of journey stay to refresh. I would have preferred to be closer to the old part of the city, but this hotel is undoubtably the more comfortable option.

If you want to walk from the site to see different parts of the city, it’s doable but you will walk probably about 15 min. before you get to anything. This was a downside for me but it may be desirable to others.

A good value four star hotel slightly on the edge of the old town but only a 20 minute walk to it. Make sure you pay that little extra for a balcony room and breakfast as it's a bit of a way to the nearest cafe. Nice swimming pool open from early May, but for some reason only in the afternoon. Bar with snacks facilities but only in the afternoon too! Excellent and varied buffet breakfast. Friendly staff.

It is a little tired in places and in need of redocration. We were originally wrongly put in a non balcony room and this was a little cramped and pokey so my advice is spend that little extra. There is a bus stop outside the hotel into the old town but to be honest it's only a 20 minute walk. If you are catching a bus to the airport you have to do it from the old town.

Staff is friendly and helpful but they’re clearly not enough for such a big hotel, there are queues of guests for everything, from check in to check out, even to get a towel for the swimming pool. The management should think of recruiting more personal
