This is a comfortable and really well-located, affordable hotel. The room quite spacious and pretty and comfortable. The location is literally a minute from the train station - it's outside of the old city centre, but that's actually quite nice because it makes travel by train really easy (especially since you don't have to take your bags uphill and through narrow old streets) and because it feels quite special to enter the old city via the old bridge, so we actually enjoyed the short walk to and from the city, and also enjoyed being able to leave the tourist crowds behind when we left the city centre.

we stayed 3 nights midweek and our rate was very reasonable and our room was spacious and comfortable. as well as the bedroom and bathroom, we had a separate lounge and we just loved the extra space. Presumbably weekends are busy and rates go up and most rooms would not have had the extra space. Having a large, free, public carpark around the corner was a big bonus when travelling by car. The hotel was quite basic but more than adequate. Cheaper than staying in the old city, but with a bus stop in front of the hotel, the bus trip up the hill was only just over 1 Euro, and it was close enough to walk back down the hill. The receptionist, Maria, was very helpful and very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived by train and did not want to lug stuff very far so the location was excellent. Front desk was generally friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and clean. We added a second night and were happy overall.

A bit of a walk to the city, but that is a trade off vs being near the station. One of the two front desk people we encountered did not know English (but was friendly and as helpful as possible). These are minor issues and we enjoyed the stay.

Nice clean big room. Very near train station which we liked very much. Fun walk into oldtown Toledo over old stone bridge - we really liked that. There are several small local restaurants very nearby that we enjoyed eating at.

The price was higher that what we would normally pay. We stayed over a weekend which was likely a contributing factor. Toledo is not a big place - so not as many places to choose from. One minor inconvenience was we got one of their attic rooms - which has a sloping ceiling that I kept bumping my head into. Nothing serious. We laughed a lot.

The rooms were clean and very spacious. We loved the little balcony. The location was the best for getting around and exploring Salamanca on foot. Free street parking was also an added bonus. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even when they were slammed with customers. You cannot find a better value for your money than here. We loved our stay so much, we added another night.

Furniture could’ve been a little softer and lighter, especially on hard tiled floors because every time we dragged our chairs out, they made incredibly loud noise. And we kept bumping into the sharp glass corners of the table. Other than that, it was great!

Room and bathroom were big. The bed was wide and comfortable. Location is excellent - just near the railroad station and 15 minutes by foot from the entrance to Old City. A mini market and cafe/restaurant are just near the hotel. 35 minutes by foot from the observation point to Toledo. The room was quiet. Wi-Fi is perfect.

No fridge and kettle. But it is obvious for the low price room (60 euro/night).

The steps from the lobby up to the lift, had to hump heavy luggage up them, a ramp would be more sensible

Very quiet. We were on the top floor, which I asked for, so didn't have a view, only a skylight which opened which was great. The room was lovely and warm without the heating on and had to open the window to sleep. There was a comfy sofa to sit on too. Bed very comfortable. The cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was well lit, fantastic shower over the bath. It was a perfect location too, opposite the train station. Bus stop outside to the old town but we walked to the escalators which take you up. The views on the walk were magical of the river and the Alcazar etc. We were also lucky in that we found a park in the free long stay carpark and our car was fine parked there for 5 nights. You can also park free outside the hotel if you're lucky enough to get a parking space. There's a few cafes, restaurants nearby. We liked the cafe at the train station for a coffee. It didn't bother us at all there was no food, drinks facilities at the hotel. All in all, a fantastic stay.

Nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect for us.

It would be a great idea to at least supply kettle and tea/coffee/milk sachets in the rooms. We knew the property was a fair walk from town, but visitors need to be prepared forage steep climb up the roads to the centre of Toledo

Review of Hotel Princesa Galiana toledo Hotel. Sunday 25.12.22- Tuesday 27.12.22. Nice location. Room 206 with balcony. Comfortable room and bathroom. Beautiful tile and castle decor. No kettle facilities. Quiet and spacious. Friendly receptionist Silvia and Gulleimo. No breakfast chosen. Opposite the train station. All within walking distance to shopping in Old District by crossing a bridge. Cobble streets. Amazing views. Large stream running alongside Castle walls. Huge doors and narrow street homes. Souvenir shops. knife and sword memorabilia to commemorate history. Coffee spots in Toledo old town. Rodilla.
