For me, the character and history of the property were the reasons I picked it, and I was not disappointed, I absolutely adored the building. The fireplace and pool are simply stunning if you like traditional Spanish chic. The member of staff that checked me in was simply adorable, giving me information about the building, you can tell he is passionate about his place of work. He also drew me a map and recommended places to go out and eat. I’m a regular to Torremolinos this is now my favourite hotel.

The shutter in my room wouldn’t open properly so I had no window or balcony. Second Gentleman on reception was rude to me when I got back to the hotel late at night.

Funky hotel at the start of tourist strip with beach easy two minute walk. Great beach reasonable price beach lounges. Old style sitting lounge. Lots patio tables to enjoy breakfast at 6 euro's it was basic coffee, juice, bun & croissant. Staff helpful & pleasant bonus 24 hour reception they called for taxi at 3:30am for me. You feel a very comfortable atmosphere soon as you enter plus quietness area of the patio & separate pool grounds. Good size room on main floor so no steps. Parking, Wifi & A/C all great. Definitely returning.

Pool lounge chairs are worn & not very clean you need to use a cover. Every thing else was great

The hotel itself was lovely. Very rustic with an old fashioned feel. The staff -especially the man on reception- were welcoming and friendly. We were able to leave luggage and use toilet facilities on our early arrival which allowed us to go out while our rooms were made ready. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, including our room and bathroom. We had plenty of hanging space and beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well. Pool area was kept tidy and there was a toilet nearby. Pool itself was a godsend as it was extremely hot. We really loved this hotel as the location was fantastic. Two minutes from all the 'biz' of the pedestrian street with cafes,restaurantsand shops. It was a five minute walk uphill (but not too steep) to bus stops for Torremolinos centre, Mijas etc. Man on reception called a taxi for us which arrived in two minutes, and he made sure it came into the courtyard and right to the door for us. We would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend. Was good value too.

Maybe could have a few more sunbeds poolside as some didn't have the raised back facility so were completely flat, ok for dozing.

really interesting and quirky building and a few mins from beach. i think this place would be perfect for those travellers by car or motorbike. free parking outside and close to the beach and shops.

overall nothing big, but if i have to nitpick - no lifts to the top, but its ok for me but be aware. i did have a few ants in the bathroom but again not a bother for me. the tv was a bit small and far from the big...but its not a cinema and it doesn't bother me

Wonderful historic hotel. Small and welcoming. Free car parking secure and easy to use. Pool and terraces beautiful. Close to beach and variety of restaurants. Would return.

A shame it offers no dining apart from continental breakfast, but there are plentiful places nearby to eat. We booked a small double room en suite and the view over the pool and terrace was great but there was only one spare electric socket available and the bathroom grouting could do with a refresh. Wouldn’t put us off staying again but would probably book a larger room.

I loved the beautiful and the interesting deco of the place. The rustic and quirky feel of the place is very different to commercial hotels in the area. It was very quiet, very close to the beach and the swimming pool was a luxury as we were the only ones using it… Gorgeous!

The bedroom was a bit spartan so could be brought up to date and made a bit more ‘homely’. The bathroom and bedroom were clean. We only stayed for one in Torremolinos as we had to drive to Granada after our flight from UK, so that was not a big problem for us.

Beautiful, traditional building with a pretty, tranquil garden and pool. Very close to the seaside, yet away from the crowds and noise of Torremolinas. Our room was quite small and simple, but clean and a decent shower so it did the job for 1 night. Parking was very easy and free. The staff (owners?) were friendly. There's a basic breakfast for 6 Euros if you order it the day before. But of course, the whole of Torremolinas is just beyond the gates, lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

Rooms are quite basic but this is reflected in the price.

Hotel Residencia Miami in Torremolinos had offered the best solid hot shower of our whole Spain trip! This smaller hotel contained tired but cozy traditional decor. Our room was clean and comfortable with balcony doors overlooking a nice private courtyard and pool. It was a great walkable location for the local oceanfront boardwalk. The host was very willing to assist with our evening walking and dining plans, and he was full of good suggestions. Having a private parking lot was super handy. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel has a charming atmosphere of an old romantic place, the location is second to none and the bar and the restaurants are so close by.

The staff could do with a little more training - they were polite and helpful, but loud and really inconsiderate. Makes you wonder what happened with the great idea of the Spanish siesta :) If you want sweet afternoon nap after a hot morning at the beach - forget it , it's their favourite time to friendly chat with other colleagues and unfortunately you can hear every word because of the outstanding acoustic of the building.

We loved everything. Especially the outstanding staff customer service. The room was very clean and had all toiletries needed. Room overlooked a beautiful pool, very short walk to all shops cafes bars and restaurants. I managed to leave my expensive gold ring behind but did not relise until 4 hours away. Rang the hotel and they have found it. Packaged it up and we arrange courier to be collected and delivered to where we were staying. All staff were very very helpful and honest. Strongly recommend to all. We will be returning again next year. Thank you very very much for everything. Appreciate you help and honestly. X
