Sparklingly clean bathroom and bedroom. Plenty of space. Excellent breakfast. Pre-booked car parking space in the hotel's car park for only seven cars. Outside parking very busy.

Be aware that Zamoran's eat very late. Told cafes and restaurants in the main square reopen at 8pm for evening meals. Went to eat to find hundreds of people promenading round or enjoying drinks. Then we noticed no-one was eating. On enquiring no-one serves food before 9pm (this was a Saturday). With hundreds of people no doubt wanting serving goodness knows what time some people got their food.

Great location and breakfast. Classic old style hotel located just outside the old town walls. Parking available - but it was booked out. So luckily we were able to find free public parking just outside the hotel. Staff were great in providing info about Zamora, tapas bars etc. Breakfast was great and the staff were particularly good at refilling things as they were utilised. All in all it was a really nice place to stay

Only one power point over a small bedside table available to charge devices, which was limiting. No power point available at the desk provided in the room, which was the obvious place for chaging devices..

Very nice hotel. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was terrific, and there was tea and coffee available in the lounge during the day. Great location, about 3 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor. The town is very pretty. It was also very busy while we were there because there was a Cheese Festival taking place. We highly recommended this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

One minor gripe. The lounge closed early, and the rooms do not have a kettle. So no tea/coffee at night.

Clean, attractive decor, friendly and helpful receptionist . Secure parking in a nearby garage , but as there are not many spaces available , would recommend booking in advance- as requested by hotel. Good continental breakfast. Good value for money.

Hot breakfast was minimal and not actually hot. At one point during the night, there was an unpleasant smell from the aircon. Soundproofing is not great, as in you are able to hear other doors opening/ closing and other toilets flushing.

Parking on arrival was easy, there were staff who spoke English well, the room was a good size, very clean, comfortable and decorative. Breakfast was delightful (the colourful and decorative crockery is available in a shop at the hotel!) and the hotel is an easy walk to the town centre. An absolute plus was a small play room with toys and books in the reception area which kept our two young grandchildren entertained on many occasions.

The only issue for us (two ageing grandparents) was that the shower was in the bath and there was no grab rail to help us get in and out. The floor of the bath had a good non-slip surface though.

The location of the hotel is superb - very close to the historic downtown. This hotel provided an internal parking but we managed to find a good place for our car right in front of the hotel. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample and tasty. The elevator made simple moving of our heavy luggage.

The room was smaller than we expected and sparely furnished. A coffee maker in the room would be a huge plus.

Lovely interior decorations. Excellent beds. Very elegant bathroom.

The quality of the breakfast was really poor and did not match other ambitions of the hotel; the bread and the croissants must have been days old. The juice and the fruit yoghurt were of lowest quality. The scrambled eggs did not taste anything and bacon was of low quality. Normally like Spanish coffee, but the coffee from the machine was very bitter.

Super clean and comfortable. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and super friendly. Their parking does have special places for electric cars. Decor was amazing, and the breakfast buffet simply superb. The location is great. Good value for money. We definitely recommend Aras Hotel and will stay again when we are back in Zamora.

The only small detail was that the airco in our room did not cool down and was a bit noisy. It was not that warm and for one night, we managed.

The decor of this hotel is lovely very fresh and inviting. It was great having a locked garage for our car which is just around the corner from the hotel. The room was pretty with windows which open for fresh air and robes to relax in after a long day. The breakfast room was elegant with a good buffet breakfast including gluten free options. The hotel was just on the outside of the old wall but an easy walk into the old town.

Would have been easier to be able to access the garage from the hotel but it was only around the corner.

Excellent first impression when you enter the hotel lobby, very stylish and at the same time simply laid out. The checking desk being a simple desk, the atmosphere conveyed is minimalistic and also very welcoming with a very calming colour scheme. The hotel boutique is also very attractive, selling homewares that you'll see across the hotel, including the bedlinen. The breakfast room located on the 1st floor is a succession of room modules decorated with a lot of flair and style, visibly designed to accommodate business and party events. The buffet breakfast feels relaxed and is very well appointed with quality ingredients. We really appreciated the fact that free public parking is possible in front of the hotel, we were lucky to find a free space within 2 minutes of our arrival but otherwise there is alternative car parking on the avenue opposite the hotel along the old city wall. Be mindful that the car will be exposed to the sun for a good part of the day, it will get hot! The hotel is also perfectly located, very close to one of the entrance of the old city, so it was easy to go wander around everywhere and not having to worry about areas that could be noisy with the touristic hustle and bustle. Indeed our night was super quiet, never heard any sound form other rooms nor from the immediate neighbourhood or traffic. We were left delighted by our short visit of a small provincial city with many wonders at a period which was perfectly quiet for us to enjoy.

The only negative note would be relating to the shower head above the bath tub. Obviously an afterthought in design. The tap situated in the middle means that the shower hose and head are now almost aligned with the edge of the protective glass panel. This means you have to angle the shower head in an awkward position, which it did not seem to easily want to adopt, to prevent a lot of splashing outside the perimeter of the bath tub. It would be wise to rethink this basic point for that particular room on the third floor.
