Incredible staff on-site, everyone did their best to make our stay a pleasant one. The breakfast was good, food on site was good.

Coming in after a red-eye flight, to know out that the room I booked and confirmed with the reservation department was not available. the check-in officer offered a different room at an extra charge. only until I escalated the issue the problem was solved. but this should not happen, it is a common trick but it's not worthy of a "5 Star" hotel.

Excellent staff, always smiling and very helpful. We got a double upgrade and the staff ensured we were comfortable in every way. There is live music until 11pm and a bar in the pool serving drinks until 6pm. The property is connected to the beach and has tuk tuks available. On arrival, you are taken to the hotel by a boat and the boat is available 24 hours with free unlimited transfers. The buffet has a great selection with very good prices for a hotel stay. Roshni from f&b arranged a private dinner on the beach for us and ensured everything was perfect. Nipun from the staff took very nice pictures of us the entire evening. Chamika from the staff stayed us with the entire duration of the private dinner, without making us feel hurried at all and also gave us discount for dinner for the next day and arranged special dessert. The dinner staff (very nice smiling boy I’m forgetting his name) decorated the table for us as a surprise and Silva was always smiling and was very hospitable at all meal times. Im forgetting to mention many people but a special thanks to all the staff to make the effort to go out of the way and make our stay very memorable.

It’s 4 star but the Al la carte menu is very 3 average. It’s just a cafe menu. Which is fine, they just use terminology that makes you think it’s going to be nicer than it is. We were just breakfast but it seemed everyone else was all inclusive which we didn’t have an option to book for so felt it should’ve been cheaper than it was. Overall though it was a happy place and we felt safe.

We had a great stay here, the beach was easy to access. The pool facilities also easy to access. All facilities were clean and neat. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. On arrival the most beautiful lamp lighting ceremony was held with the reception staff, we all felt very special. The arrival on the jetty, you transported on a boat to the hotel reception. This also adds to the excitement of the stay! The rooms were very comfortable, The breakfast selections were vast! Really good overall.

Certain parts of the hotel is a bit dated. I am sure this is common, maybe a revamp of certain areas should be considered.

The environment was really great and something new for my family and specially for my children. The food really freshly cooked and served upon order. Special thanks to CAFE BEM team members SACHINDU, SANDALI, THARANGA and NAVAD was well supported and so humble to providing the needs. The room was so clean and more space to walked around and children was very happy play around the room space.

So far I didn't find any problems or difficultys.

Most is food and variety along with staff service to mention like Chethna and Sudan.very good 👍😊

At least based on availability could have probably upgraded the room also perhaps from my eyes there are service priorities for Europeans then APAC's which I think staffs could be educated on the same. End of the day tourism is a mixed business as you receive from.all quarters so everyone is the same

Love the staff. Especially Mr shalika(pa to gm) was so helpful when I had an issue with the room. She handled it with high professionalism and sorted it out. Location is absolutely stunning. Food is decent. Ocean view room on the third floor is amazing. Poll was v clean and huge as well and the the beach is a stunner in front of the hotel well clean.

i didnt like the fact that i had to try to call more than once before my call would be answered. and another note is the way they wash the glasses in my room, he cleaned them in front of me using his hands, this wasnt acceptable for me and i didnt drink any coffee in room afterwards.

Location was amazing, right next to one of the cleanest beaches I have ever been to! Breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the freshly made Hoppers! Staff was very friendly. Nice big rooms, very spacious and comfy! Pool bar was excellent

We booked an ocean view room, but the view was blocked by trees. Still nice but should not be advertised as an ocean view. Could have better after dinner activities

Breakfast was good. Beach was good. Pool was good. Beds were comfortable. Location was great with river on one side and the ocean on other with lots of options for water sports. U had to check in on one side of the river and then you are transported to the main hotel building in a boat through the river.

Options could be improved in the dinner buffet.
