The view just in front of the room is amazing and peaceful. The bathroom of my room was great, big and pretty designed with a hot shower. Also I appreciated the heavy blanket of my bed, as it was really comfortable for a little cold nights in the mountains. The family was specially kind and I felt really good and safe staying at there property as a solo traveler. High recommendation also for the Tuk Tuk Guide (connected to the bell view guest house), offering fair prices and bring you to lipton’s seat, waterfalls or even to Yale national park. well guided!

The place is up a hill so the view from the garden is really incredible. Bathroom is really cool. Room is big and bed is comfortable.

Having read some of the reviews we came with some reservation, but it turned out to be a very nice place to stay. It is a small family run business in an old atmospheric colonial building. Rooms are spacious and clean. It is close to the town, but very quite, with a stunning view. The owner is very diligent.

The breakfast was very tasty. A big pot of exquisite tea and the coconut roti and dhal was great. The view is unbelievably spectacular and the location is great. The room and bed sheets were clean. The hot water shower was good.

Unfortunately there was a strong smell of damp, hard to avoid in misty haputale, but quite pervasive. I was visiting in a very wet season though. The bed was too soft, I sunk in deep. Fine for two nights but any more would have given me muscle pains. Otherwise it is a lovely place. For two nights it's fantastic and the price is incredible.

The guesthouse is very good located. Our host was very helpful and always indicates us the cheapest way to get around. As Backpackers we really appreciate it! We had a really nice view!

The bed was quite comfy but with a "hole" in the middle, so that with my friend we were always meeting in the middle of the bed.

Extremely friendly owner, helped us with everything we asked for. Even went to the shop to get us some things so that we didn't have to go ourselves. Room was great, spacious and very comfortable beds. Dinner and breakfast were also good.

The staff were very nice and the food was amazing!! Very helpful and they prepared our lunch box.

A bit humidity smell in some rooms which is because of the mountain weather

I loved the large rooms and soft, thick blankets on the bed. I stayed here during a couple of rainy days and it was a perfect place to relax and look out over the misty tea-plantation hills. The owner is super friendly and will help you to organise the day’s activities.

Water in the shower could have been hotter

This guest house was a perfect choice for the price. Family atmosphere, friendly owner, traditional food, wifi, clean rooms, hot water in the shower - everything was OK. The city centre is like 10 mins walk. The owner and his family can speak english and he can give you a lot of informations and recommendations (tourism, tuktuk, taxi, restaurants etc.) Czech tourists love this place (a lot of czech reviews in a guest book inside the guest house) I hope we’ll visit this place again in the future. P.S.: Take some european chocolate with you, the children will love it!
