The food was exceptionally good, as were the staff. We chose from the a la carte menu and each dish was excellently prepared and well presented. It was my choice to avoid the buffet - but the spread looked amazing. The waiters, the chefs, the manager, the reception staff - they were all very helpful. It would seem like the employees like working for Jetwing and it shows!!!

I didn't like the room particularly... as a single occupant I had a smaller room (albeit with a queen size bed) and even though it was comfortable, it felt quite restricted. My friends had a double occupancy room which felt a lot more spacious. I also felt that everything was too heavy - appreciate Jetwing's zero plastic orientation, but the wood used for the bedroom doors and the stone in the corridors made everything a little too oppressive. Jaffna has its own unique architecture and culture so it was a little disappointing to witness the Ïndian orientation of this hotel - including in the restaurant. More public spaces to hang out may have improved the livability of the hotel

The location

In a room the mini fridge was not working and I made several requests to change and they gave many excuses for 2 days and I had to raise my volume saying that I will complain to booking.com and then they changed, during our check out exactly at the time they switched off the power in the rooms and acted very rude.

The staff were all very helpful, professional and friendly. It was probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had on the island. The hotel contained many little details which most other hotels in the south don't have, like rubber slippers, an actually stocked mini bar, shoe shine, etc. Loved the decor/furniture in the restaurant. The breakfast spread was pretty decent as well.

As most have said, the bathroom is extremely small. You need to walk into the shower cubicle to be able to close the door. The room service menu was a bit too spicy for our taste. Would've been good if they had pre-warned us. Didn't have too many options either. Rooms don't have much of a view. Also would've preferred armchairs in the room instead of the stools they had. All in all can't complain given the other hotel options in Jaffna

The restaurant was very good with the menu offered & service. The roof top bar & restaurant was excellent. Room service was prompt.

The toilet was too cramped up. The toilet door was as broad as the toilet & one had to balance to get in . If not one would get stuck. The shower pressure was medium. Check out staff performance was poor. I was made to wait to receive my bill printout , in spite of clearing my bill . The room did not have comfortable chairs in the room.

Room was very nice and clean, and the room service was excellent. The menus was varied and enjoyable for all.

We had an issue with the staff that made fresh juice for us, as he tasted our juices with his mixing spoon, then proceeded to continue mixing it with the same spoon about 3-4 times.

I really liked the room, it was very clean, although the hotel itself doesn't necessarily look like that from the outside.

The hot water didn't always work well. Sometimes there was no hot water at all and when there was hot water, it was too hot so you couldn't shower. Otherwise a nice hotel by Sri Lankan standards.

Breakfast was good had a variety of Sri Lankan and western food

The staff was really good service was excellent. I booked through Booking.com and was trying to get hold of Jetwing via emails / phone calls prior leaving Australia didn't receive any response. Even Booking.com tried and advised the hotel is not responding. Just a suggestion since this hotel is in Jaffna the staff wardrobe could have reflect the culture.

Excellent customer service, great value for money, and totally exceeded my expectations. Our stay was great and it felt very luxurious. This is probably the best hotel to stay in the Jaffna area. The prices are higher than the other hotels in the area, but the service and accomodation makes it great value for money.

I would have liked there to be more amenities such as a swimming pool or spa services.

Exceptional customer service, staff are friendly and very helpful. A good selection of food available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and it was delicious.

There was no onsite accommodation and complimentary food for the driver. Also an extra staff would have been helpful to make the "Hoppers" in the restuarant to avoid the waiting time to receive your order

We were on a cycling trip around the country and our priorities / expectations were met by the hotel. 1. Easy access to the hotel from the road 2. Simple and comfortable accommodation 3. Humble and supportive staff 4. Safe and secure parking for our cycles (The hotel was kind to provide us with some water to wash our cycles) 5. Easy check-in & check-out 6. Good food! :-)
