We stayed here for a night on our stopover from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. We wanted to get the true tea garden experience and this place completely satisfied our requirements. It is a quaint cottage nestled in the tea gardens. We reached around 5 pm after sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya, we were served tea on the balcony which was lovely. Since this is a B&B and we were feeling too lazy to go out for dinner, the host helped us in placing a delivery order. We had breakfast the next morning, which was good and had morning tea on the balcony again before checking out. An extremely sweet gesture made by the host was gifting us tea bags.

Not that we didn't have a problem with it, the immediate approach road is a bit old.

the room was nice and big, everything worked well. the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Raj was AMAZING ! he responded to our every need and did everything so that our stay would be as pleasant as possible. We follow a special dite and they adapted the breakfast for us. overall they were great and we highly recommend this place for a chill and worryless stay.

We attempted to use the bathtub but for some reason the water had a yellowy color. we don't know why it happened, it's probably the same everywhere in the region. Additionally, we were there in September, the weather water cold and the room was very chill especially at night. there was a heater, however it was not sufficient to heat up the whole room.

It was so beautiful being in amongst the tea fields in this hotel. We were in one villa with just a couple of other rooms. When we arrived, we were given a cup of tea and biscuits out on the roof overlooking the fields as the sun set. It was a lovely way to meet other people. The staff were really helpful and friendly and it was a great experience.

The room did feel quite damp but I think that is just the weather! Also, you need to take a tuktuk to get to restaurants etc but think that's just the price you pay for being in amongst the greenery.

This is the nicest place we have stayed in Sri Lanka The room was stunning and completely spotless. The property is surrounded by tea plantations and we were treated to a lovely morning walk through the plantation after breakfast on the last day of our stay. Breakfast is really tasty and we particularly enjoyed the tea. The manager could not have been more helpful, recommending a brilliant restaurant for us, and also organising a driver to take us to all the sites we wanted to see at a very reasonable price. As we were checking out we were given a lovely gift of Sri Lanka tea which we are enjoying on the rest of our trip. Can't recommend this property enough.

I arrived on a motorcycle, tired like hell and wet from the rain. The host was amazing from the start: he helped me with the luggage, performed a very quick check-in, ordered pizza from Pizza Hut for me and brought tea with cookies to my room (free of charge) so I could warm up a bit. Incredible care shown by the host, helpful throughout, answered all queries and was ready to accommodate all my requests. Hot bath in a big bathtub made me recover well from the travel. Views around the property are amazing. Breakfast was very nice, I was asked twice if all is to my satisfaction and if I would like to get anything extra. After the breakfast I got two packs of local tea as a gift from the host, which was a very kind gesture!

Some facility compromises are to be expected due to a fact that the building is historical and the temperature in the area is very low when compared to the rest of Sri Lanka. Host provides a heater in the room which does a good job of warming it up.

We liked almost everything about this property. But what makes it truly exceptional is the staff. They have arranged our train tickets even before we arrived to Ella, took us to meet the ladies working in the tea field nearby and special thanks go to Shameer who is really a role mode for anyone working in the hospitality industry. He spoke the best english of all of the ppl we met in Sri Lanka which allowed us to have interesting conversations and he kept us well informed on restaurants, tours and means of transport. The villa is a bit remote so you can’t really walk anywhere on your own but that gives you the space to really relax in a peaceful setting. They’ve made breakfast at our liking every morning and those two nights staying there helped us re-charge and continue our journey. Would return to stay there anytime.

There is not much we did not like. The bathroom would need a bit TLC, as it’s below standard compared to the rest of the property.

Comfortable one night stay for three friends. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the welcome tea and suggestions on dinner and things to do. We were put in touch for a taxi to/from the train station and a tuktuk driver for enjoying the area. Breakfast the next morning was a nice plus and modifications for dietary restrictions (one gluten free traveler) were appreciated.

Warning for others staying overnight on Saturday - not sure if a religious place is nearby, but bring earplugs as there were prayers (or something else) playing over loudspeakers. We knew the location was away from the town center but didn't realize quite how far and the lack of walkability, so perfect for those who want the setting of the tea fields and are ok getting a taxi/tuktuk from point a to b.

Staying at Vila Tea Fields in Nuwara Eliya was an incredible experience for us as a couple. The breathtaking views of the tea plantations and the surrounding mountains created a serene and romantic atmosphere. The cozy and well-appointed villa offered us a perfect retreat, allowing us to relax and enjoy each other's company. Exploring the lush tea gardens, sipping freshly brewed tea, and taking leisurely walks through the picturesque landscapes were some of the highlights that we cherished. The attentive staff, warm hospitality, and delicious local cuisine further enhanced our stay. Vila Tea Fields provided us with a memorable and enchanting getaway that we will always treasure as a couple.

The property is located between the lush green tea fields. It reminds you of the Scottish cottages. We arrived here in the afternoon and we were welcomed with hot tea and biscuits by Shamera and Amal (our hosts). We were touched by their hospitality. We then check in our room and it was beautiful, extremely clean and well organised. We were here for three nights and I am so glad we chose this property, the breakfast was outstanding and served with so much love and care, they even took care of my dietary requirements. We also enjoyed our time on the terrace which has lovely cane chairs to relax. In all, a beautiful property, if you are looking for a great stay with amazing people, I would 100% recommend this place. Thank you Shameera and Amal, you guys just won our hearts. We are surely coming back. And yes last but not the least, the owner of the property gifted us some amazing exotic tea, this was one priceless gesture. Thank you Team Villa Fields!

The host was incredibly hospitable and accommodating throughout my stay. The bed provided was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast spread was abundant and satisfying. The surrounding area was pleasantly serene, devoid of any traffic or disruptive noise. Additionally, the host kindly took me on a leisurely stroll around the nearby tea fields.

My room happened to be situated adjacent to the shared living room, which led to some noise disturbances initially. However, as the other guests eventually retired for the night, I was able to sleep soundly. While the property is a bit distant from the city center and other activities, a short tuk-tuk ride easily bridged the gap. It's worth noting that tuk-tuk fares are incredibly affordable in the area.
