The request for being located on a high floor has not been fulfilled :-( 2 rooms have been booked, the reception staff was confused (assuming just 1 room), and although our booking request was for the rooms to be nearby, we got 1 room in Tower 1 and another in Tower 3 ... !!! Did not manage to enjoy the swimming pool, there is a system you have to pre-book etc. but it was fully booked ... Due to New Year's Eve + New Year, the restaurants' menu as well as the schedule , pre-booking was not easy to deal with (some burger, steak option but no pasta/pizza for the kids). Else, the restaurants have been very convenient providing several, different options.

* Extra fee for Pool & Sauna. It wasn't mentioned anywhere that the price does not include wellness. They charged 745 SEK for 3 hours. * The rooms with Upper house name option did not come for me hence I did not know Gothia Towers & Upper house were separate. It would be good if there was a dropdown to choose or a note added somewhere which indicates there are both. I think previously when I booked in 2021 there were separate bookings for Upper house while searching hotels in Gothenburg but now Gothia Towers & UH are merged. * Bath tub drain stopper was very delicate & loose hence water gets drained if stepped accidentally.

Hotel is huge. Breakfast is super and there are many many food options for all tastes (gluten-free included) The lobby of the hotel is the longest in Europe. The hotel is really nice, and comfortable, with 7 elevators (no waiting time even during peak hours for breakfast). There is a closed multi-store parking with direct connections to the hotel, and the amusement park on the other side of the road. On the ground floor of the parking lot, there are some restaurants and a very big supermarket where you can buy some fresh food. You can walk the city starting from the hotel, and enjoy a nice walk around. Totally the best option to visit the town.

We were greeted very well on arrival at reception by a charming person who, to top it all off, spoke perfect French! Our stay almost went completely wrong due to the intransigence and total lack of listening of an employee assigned to 'customer service'. Fortunately, her colleague Johanna handled the situation brilliantly and with perfect empathy. I can't thank you enough, Johanna! I'd also like to mention the professionalism and attention we received from Cecilia and Anika during our last breakfast on the 29th floor. The view is great, and the staff even better (except for 1 who should perhaps think about changing jobs...).

The spa checkin once in the hotel it’s just a weird setup prolonging check out because you cannot use the spa for a certain time slot if you check out. But you can come as someone not staying in the hotel and book the time slot for the full time. This could definitely be explained better

Convenient location for many activities, stylish hotel interior, friendly competent staff, good soundproofing in the room

We arrived at the hotel at 15.40 and stood in line for quite a while, so maybe it's worth checking in after 16. We also had to wait a long time for the elevators. Finding a parking space nearby was difficult, so I recommend booking it beforehand.

Breakfast: choice excellent, great food and a fantastic start to the day. Room: small but perfectly good. Staff: all staff incredibly helpful and happy. Gothia Upper Towers Spa: spa very good place to relax for 2 or 3 hours.

With regards to the Spa and Upper Gothia Towers, you only get a discount on your entry to the spa - which is fantastic. However, you don't get any discount on your treatments, unless they have a special offer on, so check the fine print.

Breakfast was excellent! Shout out to the staff especially Jose who was very kind, friendly and helpful at the breakfast table. Always with a smile and willing to answer any question we had concerning breakfast and allergies.

There was no swimming pool for kids. My daughter felt very disappointed because we could not swim at the pool. The pool is attached to the spa and is not included in the hotel payment. The gym, kids' corner and breakfast are the only free attractions attached to the payment.

It's my favourite hotel on planet earth - Liseberg my favourite place in the world. I was married to a Swedish woman from Mölndal until 2016, we lived in the UK and after divorce she moved back to GBG with our 3 year old son. I get every other school holiday with my son, me flying to Sweden to pick him up, my ex wife collecting him back from UK. Therefore our time together is very special, even more so because we didn't see each other for over 2.5 years due to COVID - I moved back in with my parents after divorce and they were immuno suppressed - so travel was out of the question. Therefore our visits are even more special. Every time I'm over I try to stay at Gothia Towers as it's just the pinnacle of hotels in our eyes. This time didn't disappoint, albeit for one day, we managed a day in Liseberg in the snow, and as ever the world's best breakfast at GT. The place is warm, clean welcoming and we're beaming with smiles for it on welcoming and exit. Thank you.

Simply cannot beat the location for what we were there for, which was an ice hockey tournament happening at the Scandinavium. The two buildings are adjacent, so it's impossible not to say this was a great location. Hotel staff is super efficient, they take care of your needs, there's breakfast at 4:00 a.m. if you were catching it early flight, and it's close to pretty much everything downtown, including Leisberg

The only blemish on this whole thing was a front desk person who forgot to make our reservation for 4:00 a.m. to get to the airport for the right day. Fortunately the person who was covering the desk at 4:00 a.m., was able to rectify the situation in about 10 minutes. That's a small blip on a great place
