Excellent staff, well-equipped shared kitchen, enough toilets and showers in the blocks. I stayed in a room with two beds - the room is small but well equipped, there is even a private hair dryer. The convenient location of the hostel is close to a grocery store, several cafes and restaurants and a public transport stop. You can also quickly walk to the Haga area and further to the center.

There were no sweet pastries at breakfast... I didn't expect this from a hostel in Sweden :D Please note that the hostel is located on a small hill - if it is difficult for you to climb up, you will need to find a workaround.

The room was a good size for two people. There were outlets and lights by each of the beds which was great. The whole place was super clean and I appreciate their commitment to sustainability. The hostel is super close to a bus stop and a pretty good place in town. The staff was incredibly kind! I went on a bar crawl with a wonderful Finnish staff member (so sorry I forgot her name!). She was SO kind and made sure we were all safe, definitely the highlight of our hostel stay :)

My room was in the second building which was a little confusing to get to. Once we figured it out all was well.

Very reasonably priced, good value for money. Good public kitchen area, and decent shower rooms. Bedrooms were surprisingly big, actually more like a hotel than a hostel. Very Happy with that. Extremely hospitable staff, with recommendations of stuff to do in the local area and social events.

Showers were a little bit old, and a little dirty, but not a huge bother.

The hostel is situated in the middle of Gothenburg, close to Slottskogen with all its greenery. The city centre is only a tram ride or scooter ride away. The hostel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The room had comfortable beds and even though it faced the street, it was very quiet at night. The shared bathroom facilities were kept clean and the kitchen was well equipped. I would highly recommend this hostel! Lina

Everything was excellent. Great location, facilities were in excellent condition always. Staff was 10/10, I forgot my passport and they contacted me right away to get it back before we went to the airport. I am definitely coming back again, this was my second time and way better then the first time. This is where you need to stay in Göteborg.

The facilities were clean, the kitchen is very good.

The only thing I don’t like, was I was assigned to another building, across the main reception building. If your’e assigned to other building you need to cross the street before you arrive in your room, and if you’re tired from travel, you would not appreciate it. Also, the laundry and sauna was on the main building, so if you would want to use these facilities you need to cross the street and go to another building. Over-all i still give this property an 8/10

The staff was absolutely fantastic. The hostel also provided great facilities such as laundry options and making sure that everyone felt safe. I even had a fridge and a microwave in my room. I’ll definitely come back! The location was fantastic with plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and shops nearby.

The only down part bit was the showers. The staff members did everything they could to keep them as clean as possible but some travellers unfortunately don’t know how to clean up after themselves.

We liked the location, room is surprisingly sound proof, staffs were friendly and helpful, the hostel is near a park Slottsskogen which is really nice for a walk. The hostel has 2 buildings. The reception is located on the main one. There is the second one across the street. Both buildings has their own common kitchen and living area where you can borrow books, play board games for free, or just to chill and meet other travellers. Clean common areas and lobby. Their are several restaurants / cafes around the area, bus and tram is also few minutes away. Lidl is about 5 minutes walk.

If you book your room as a "hostel" they receptionist will give you the duvet cover, pillow cover and bed cover. You have to put them by yourself and when you checkout you also have to remove them and put on some kind of box. You gotta clean your room and throw the trash when checking out. Not so ideal if you have an early flight to catch. However if you'll book your room as a "hotel" I guess you don't have to do these. One receptionist charged us for 30SEK each towel even though the message from hostel, booking site and brochure in the room says 20SEK/towel. Instead of returning the money, the receptionist just gave us another towel which is useless as we do not need that much.

The overall facilities and services are surprisingly better than the price range.

Totally my fault for not expecting the place to be on a slope. Quite difficult to drag a large suitcase up that hill. Don't think it's made for a suitcase traveler (at least someone with one that is as large as mine).

A modern, nice hostel that exceeded our expectations. Good location, very close to the bus stop + Willys (grocery store). Very well equipped kitchen and nice bathrooms. The room was comfortable, well-fitted, and we had a nice view! I would recommend this place to everyone, as I was pleasantly surprised.

It's a hostel, so making our own beds etc., was something that I expected. A little unexpected was that we had to clean the room as well (take the trash out, vacuum, clean the surfaces). It's not a problem; however, it was surprising.
