Lovely, quiet place to stay after a hectic 2 weeks in Paris, Antibes and Milan. BEAUTIFUL view, on the lake with lots of seating available to just sit and watch. Beach area very small and very rocky but still managed to do a little swimming. Unfortunately was not able to book a massage, poor timing on my part..no one available. Complimentary breakfast was lovely and restaurant and bar were very good. Restaurant staff very accommodating to our large group.

Staffing up for more massage availability would be helpful. Easier lake access for swimming would have been appreciated.

A lovely hotel that is beautifully maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had nice weather when there and took advantage of the large outdoor area that overlooks the lake. Plenty of comfortable seating and an outdoor bar where you can get excellent drinks. Dining here is expensive, but a block away is an affordable restaurant with delicious Italian focused food. We had a car while there which was helpful as this is not in the midst of a big town. I believe the bus stops right by the hotel though.

The front desk people during the daytime were so helpful. The gentleman there at night was just the opposite--would not even give us a bottle of water among other things.

The hotel is very beautiful and the terrace and gardens are wonderful , situated right on the lake. Breakfast is exceptional and staff are here to help. the room was comfortable and I had a great view of the lake. The restaurant is exceptional.

The SPA only had sauna available, the jacuzi didn't work (or wasn't open). There were no kettle in the rooms.

one of the members of the staff at the bar (I believe the responsible person) was not really pleasant. it should be stated somewhere in the website that the spa is not open for kids under 14. This was an unpleasant surprise for us to discover once already there.

This is a very sweet hotel, located right on the lake in Gunten. Had a very comfortable stay: the rooms were spacious, clean, and well suited for a good price. The spa is amazing - the little boathouse has great saunas and direct access to the lake if you fancy a quick dip in both winter and summer time. There’s also a fully functioning spa available and a nice selection of treatments. It’s a perfect place for a winter weekend getaway from the city. They also have a great restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, the food was well priced and really didn’t disappoint with the selection. The staff were very polite and attentive - they made me feel very welcome and answered all questions promptly. It was a lovely first stay and I’ll definitely be back for more and recommend to family and friends

The view is brilliant and worth paying a bit more for a room facing the lake. Once at the hotel it really is a supremely relaxing environment and it is easy to enjoy the quiet and pleasant surroundings. It's possible to get refreshments at some of the lakeside tables (or anywhere outside) and there is plenty of space so it does not feel crowded. The spa is well looked-after and comfortable, with views directly out over the lake and an underground entrance to the lake so you can swim straight out. Breakfast was excellent and it's possible to order additional items like omelettes.

For the price, the room seemed quite basic and lacked tea/coffee facilities.

Everything was excellent to the smallest detail. I wish we had more time to spend here. Room didn't have the lake view but apart from that everything else was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa is great with view of the lake. Own free car park is a big plus as well.

Breathtaking view, truly incredible. It took me a moment to fully take it in, it's a bit unreal to be honest. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Great place to rest with your spouse or family!

We had the Double Room Design and the bathroom was just too weird haha It was basically glass walls everywhere and then you have curtains all around to close it from the outside, I have never seen something like this. I get that architects wants to be creative, but normal walls would be worked much better, better noise insulation too since with those glass walls, you can pretty much hear everything when you go to the toilet.

Right on the water with its own small beach and some kayak & SUP rentals right there. Two minutes from the bus stop for bus around the lake both directions. The convenience of the bus makes up for the absence of restaurants or stores in this little village. Having a great breakfast included, also was convenient. Also can have dinner at the property, sitting next to the lake. Some of our party enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and spa area. Even tho the hotel is right off the main lake road, the traffic was relatively light and the traffic noise did not bother us.Hotel staff was really friendly. The hotel and the area generally are quiet, nothing open late night and no partying unless you want to go to Interlaken .

Would have liked to have AC -- a very hot week in the mis90s F --but that was disclosed clearly up front.

The hotel is just amazing as it shows in the photos, the room with balcony has a stunning view in the morning when the sun rises, the mattress is so comfortable that I slept so well. The spa facilities just in the lake, after a hot spa and sauna you can step in the lake from the stairs directly, this is amazing. Strongly recommended!
