I think it was our one of the best experiences while travelling in general. The breakfasts were fantastic, nature was fantastic, and the view was also fantastic. We were absolutely happy. I do recommend taking the premium rooms as they are on the 3rd and 4th floors and you will have the view of the mountains - it is priceless. My husband and I will definitely come back again next time - 100%. Good job, hotel.

I didn't really like seeing naked people in the sauna and the hammam... I understand that maybe there is a scientific explanation for why it is not good to go to the sauna with swimming suit, etc...But common.. cotton towels (at least) should be permitted. However, someone might be happy going like that :) Just a small note :)

The staff were very friendly and most accomodating. I arrived before check-in time, so I left my luggage at reception, which they kindly and unprompted brought up to the room once it was ready. The next morning the staff had left a small bag of sweets in front of each guest room door to celebrate St. Nicholas. Cannot thank the staff enough for making my stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible - would certainly return on my next trip to Davos!

I've staid in many 4 and some 5 star hotels in Davos in winter and summer. The Ameron Swiss Mountain Resort is fantastic and I would go there again. The spa, my main focus when booking in Davos, is great! Compared to the Hard Rock Hotel spa the one in Ameron is at least of similar quality and the outdoor zone is larger and better. The pool is great for laps, the massage jets are fab, there are two complete sets along one wall, enough for even a winter-evening-apres-ski pool run. Sauna (85°C/185°F), sanarium (yep. Only 50°C/120°F but with high humidity, really quite nice.). In addition a proper steam bath, an ice-basin (yay! to shovel some onto yourself or someone else) and loads of relax areas, inside and out. There are even snacks and de-tox water --- the pool and spa area is totally fabulous. Room: Modern, large, very good bed, mattress, pillows, duvet- all great. Enough coat hangers (!!). Hotel safe is there. Towels, bathrobe and slippers are good and the bath in the room has everything you'd want. No bathtub though, but who wants one these days? Light is plentiful and varied, you can easily sleep while someone reads with a tiny spot. Balcony is large and nicely shielded to the sides. No peeking by neighbors. Breakfast: Great. Everything there, lox for us Jewish guys, porky stuff for others but also turkey bacon etc.. All sorts of cheese, vegies, fruit, muslis and cereals... Coffee in different forms and surely tea - I wouldn't know about that. I am a coffee person. The staff is very friendly but discreet, a big plus. Lounge area is very nice, modern with a bar - I had one of the house drinks, gin-mix, and liked it a lot. Reception is also very good. In addition there is a fab bicycle cellar with easy exit right out onto the lower part of the hotel. Use that one as exit if you want to go into Davos. Security seems very good. You need the room card to open the doors to all amenities and for the elevators.

My room looked south out onto the Promenade and that was less of a view and a bit noisy. On the plus side: You get to see what's going on (and who). Strange thing in Davos in general (not only Ameron, had the same problem in HR-Hotel): You do not get English TV. No CNN (yep. No CNN. Anderson was off on holiday while I was there and John Berman isn't such a loss). No BBC (if you're a Strictly addict like me you'll need to set up some streaming whatnot on your laptop if you're there in the fall and around Christmas). No ITV. Simply no English TV apart from one channel French-in-English and I believe BBC-24h-News. Meh. But then we do not go there to watch TV but to enjoy the lake, the mountains, the restaurants, the bars, the.... (I could go on).

This was a comfortable modern property with all the facilities you could wish. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, the room large enough not to feel crowded. The bar was a very pleasant place with good dinks and free nuts. We did not dine or use the spa. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful it really stood out. I would recommend this hotel anytime.

It is not in the centre of the town but a free pass to frequent and handy bus service made this easy.

Comfortable bed and pillows, nice balcony and roomy bathroom. Great breakfast with lots of options. The wellness center was wonderful with pool large enough to swim laps and also jets for massage. Plenty of space in sauna and relaxation area. Also yoga and workout room. The only missing thing was the hot tub which was out of service.

Prices for bar and dinner were a bit on the high side but it was peak season. Overall, great place to stay.

modern & very clean.front office reception staff was great. so were the staff at the bar.

food/restaurant options in the evening (breakfast is great). one day the bar was not serving food after 7pm or so. we went to the restaurant, they said they are fully booked, so we had to order room service. we called for room service they said the chef had left or something along those lines, and that they were only serving drinks. we ended up walking along the promenade to find a place for dinner. mixed nude sauna. outside a very few countries in Europe, this is not the normal setup. if a guest enters without knowing, some guests can be very rude and the staff should be more understanding to guests who do not know the mixed nude sauna etiquette . at the end of the day we are all paying to stay in the hotel and globally mixed nudity is not the standard

Hotel room is big, comfortable and very clean. Pool and sauna is nice especially the quiet area is clean and nice. Plenty of water, tea and snacks provided. The gentleman kept the sauna area very clean and dry at all times. Reception is polite and offered a bottle of water upon check out for the road. This is good customer service. Also nice to have free flow of hot tea.

Breakfast is every day the same, would be nice to have some variety for the hot food selection. There is too much morning sun at the tables near the windows, sun was directly into my eyes and felt uncomfortable but the employee could not bring down the blind despite my request. Suggest you automatically bring down the blind when there is too much sun.

The room came with a balcony and we had one with good view to the mountains, great for chilling out in the evening with the dog. Less than 5 mins walk to the hiking track. Breakfast was good and staff at breakfast area was friendly.

There's parking available but one cannot reserve in advance although we made the booking several months in advance.

Breakfast was great, could be filled a bit more regular as for example the pan cakes and eggs were empty. Otherwise there was a lot of different options and everything tasted great!

For me the bed was way to hard, I have back issues and it could help to maybe have an extra soften mattress that can be requested. I Loved the options to ask for different pillows and co.

The food, the rooms, the ski room, the nice staff. For me this is the golden Standard of what a 4 start hotel should offer. For me a great Place to stay. The migros next door is a big plus

The entrance to the hotel is on the rear so the first timenwe entered thru the restaurant... it is not clearly indicated well the lobby (at least if you Park on the migros garage)
