I found the staff at Hannigalp to be friendly, helpful and competent. The amenities are nice and well organized. The hotel is in the car free zone of the village, it is very quiet, but the electric hotel taxi gets you there in the blink of an eye. The bed was comfortable, and the view from my room amazing. The bathroom is nothing to write home about, but there is a nice spa area. I did not eat at the restaurant, but it looks cozy. Hiking or trail running around the area is wonderful.

Amazing location surrounded by a stunning landscape!. Excellent attention and service from the Staff. Clean and cozy rooms, on top of being pet friendly. We couldn't resist having dinner dinner every night at the hotel and enjoying what Chef Olivier had prepared for us and served by lovely Carol! Highly recommmended.

The view from the room was to the trains:). Great soundproofing. No noise from the trains could be heard. Plus the breakfast was awesome with gluten free and vegan options, ie. Cheese, spreads, butter, yogurt. It is just 5 min from the main train station.

No option to make it cooler in the room. But we were also there during the hottest days in the summer, actually in 120 years was the news.

The place was spotless. Staff, especially our server in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful, and the spa was top notch. If/when I'm back in the area, I will definitely stay again.

Spacious and very clean room with balcony and view of the mountains. Very friendly staff and the owner went the extra mile to drive us to the cable car station. Nice wellness facilities. Excellent breakfast.

Location, staff, breakfast, restaurant (you could eat what you wanted of the main dish) the free access to cablecar, free shuttle with electric hoteltaxi, no cars in the area where the hotel is, fine parking facillity, view from the room’s balcony, pool and spa.

The staff is really sweet, everything is spotless, breakfast is top, wellness was terrific. There's a service to take guests with all their stuff from the parking in the village to the hotel, so there's no need to struggle with the luggage. And the food, definitely the food. Ate too much :-)

Maybe the daily menu could be made a few days ahead, so people can take into account when eating at other locations. We attended the Walliser evening with raclette, but one of us hates cheese with whole his soul. Expecting there would be 'a la carte' like usual, this would not be a problem. Unfortunately the only other option on this special occasion was pasta, which we already ate the night before in the village. The food is delicious though ;-)

Very nice and cozy hotel to stay. The hotel restaurant is really good and serving very healthy various food. The spa area is also very excellent. We already had the chance to stay at other hotels before in Grächen, but this is the best hotel in the while village.

Sadly - the hotel charged 4.50 Swiss francs for a bottle of tap water with our lunch. We could have got our own water from the tap!!

We love everything about the Hanigalp, and stay there whenever we're in Graechen. It is steeped with history and tradition, in a beautiful location and a lovely place to base yourself whilst in the Alps. Olivier and his team are super helpful and attentive.
