The standard was up to five stars, the quality of the food in the restaurant was outstanding.

The children were not allowed into the pool after 18:00. This was big disappointment for them and no information in advance when booked from booking.com

The view was lovely and our room was large, quite and comfortable. We could also choose from their selection of pillows.

We booked this Hotel for the "view" which was lovely, however the outside balcony had frosted glass around the balustrading which blocked the view. If you stood you could admire the view however sitting you only saw above the balustrading. You also needed a car to get into town or walk the 15 to 20 minute walk. There were supposed to be buses running but the two days we were there we didn't even see one bus. The train wasn't running up the mountain when we were there but we took the gondola which went almost to the same destination. There was also nothing running at Grindlewald First, therefore I'd suggest not to go there before end of May.

Amazing view, luxurious feeling, live music, super balcony, rewarding SPA and fun game area for kids

Toilet paper is so cheap that it breaks while using, shower pressure barely sufficient to wash

I like the technology particularly at Bathroom bidet, buffet was amazing special thanks to Mr Abduo from Egyptian who takes care of my breakfast throughout my stays.

Some of the staff were great but some were rude and disrespectful .. one incident happened with one of the staff twice who I thought having a bad day so I disregard it the first time but it reoccurs again the next day ! Furniture is old and needs some upgrade especially in the breakfast room , lobby and in the rooms .. it’s well kept and clean but outdated and might need to be changed.. the kids playroom downstairs is neglected and need to be attended and maintained

Everything is excellent about this hotel. Very warm & welcoming people work there. Viviane at reception was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Restaurant Belvedere serves really good food and staff is just fantastic, we especially were pampered by Mr. Cipriano Carta. Our child so much loved the resto, that we did not even look for alternative dining options. This hotel is very friendly for families with kids - everybody from the staff tries to inspire kids to be comfortable, eat well, have fun … The swimming pool is big and well managed , and the warm outdoor bubbly pool is super fun even in cold weather. The location is perfect to get to any ski area - both for kids and for adults - the public busses to all popular destinations are just few steps away from the hotel. Hotel is well decorated - aesthetic pleasure to wonder around it. Room was large with very comfortable beds.

The location is only steps away from the train station and the central. The staff was the fifth star of this hotel, very welcoming and supportive. Jungfrau view from our room was magical. (One of the staff members was on her first day of work, yet she managed to take us through one the smoothest check-in’s that I have ever had)

Restaurant staff were not at the same level of the hotel staff, one of them got annoyed when we asked for non-alcoholic drinks menu, because of this terrible experience we decided to eat outside the hotel during our stay. The other points is more of a recommendation, the transportation and attractions information were explained on papers. Updating it to mobile version would make a huge difference to the guests experience.

Everything was perfect. They had the best service we have ever experienced, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were one of the friendliest people i’ve ever met, the bartender even teached us how to play pool! the place was so nice and clean, the beds were so comfy, and the balcony had the best view of the mountain, we felt really welcomed, they even gave us free welcoming drink and cake and when we checked out they give us free water bottles and chocolate and a ride to the train station.. Honestly worth every penny, BEST HOTEL EVER, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!! :D

Welcoming staff, beautiful views, comfortable room/bed, heated bathroom floor and towel rack, great food at the restaurant. Sauna/jacuzzi/pool is the best part I couldn’t leave without enjoying it for a few more hours after i checked out.

Only critique is that there was an unpleasant odor sometimes in the bathroom/elevator/hallway maybe from the heating system?

I can't say enough good things about my experience with this hotel! From start to finish, the service was truly remarkable. I can't thank the staff enough for making my stay so comfortable; from Javier at check-in, to the kind driver who picked us up. The room was lovely, with an incredible view of the mountains. The restaurant and amenities were top-notch, and I really appreciated the convenience of the tablet in the room and all the little details that made our stay so enjoyable. For example, the toilet seat was adjustable - how cool! Many thanks!
