Nestled in the sleepy village of Le Brassus, Hotel des Horlogers is an absolute treasure that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional customer service from the entire staff. The architecture of the hotel is a true work of art. The blend of traditional and modern elements creates a visually stunning masterpiece that perfectly complements the surrounding natural beauty. Every detail has been meticulously designed, showcasing the harmonious marriage of style and functionality. Step inside, and you'll be greeted by an interior that is nothing short of breathtaking. The design seamlessly combines elegance and comfort, creating a space that is both inviting and sophisticated. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the luxurious furnishings to the tasteful decor. The ambience of Hotel des Horlogers is simply enchanting. During our visit, we were pleasantly surprised to receive not just one, but two upgrades over the course of our two-night stay. This generous gesture showcases the hotel's commitment to ensuring a truly exceptional experience for their guests. While our time at Hotel des Horlogers was almost flawless, we did find that the breakfast selection was somewhat limited and the restaurant didn't cater well for vegetarians or vegans. However, this small inconvenience did not overshadow the overall outstanding experience we had.

Food options

Excellent hotel, with a modern style whilst remaining harmonious with its environment. Bedroom decorated with taste and design with only 3 materials making the outdoor landscape the focal point of the room even with the simple yet sumptuous decor. A real delight. The personnel was very welcoming and accommodating. The Brasserie Le Gogant was majestic yet intimate and the food was really excellent. We will definitely return with great pleasure to make the most of the countryside and to visit the museum next door.

Beautiful hotel, especially from the outside at night. We stayed in the junior suite. The room was well decorated with minimalistic modern style. The suite was quite spacious as it has a separate living area with a rotatable flat screen TV. Everything from the climate to the lighting were controlled via centralize computer screen when you walked in. Awesome! I loved it. I would like to add that all of the staff from the front desk specially Bianca and Aleksandra and the restaurant staff. They made us feel welcomed and provide us with everything we need. I would definitely be back.

Particularly appreciated the friendly and attentive staff, especially at the Brasserie Le Gogant. Very nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere even when busy. Great food - dinner and (copious) breakfast. Excellent facilities for guests with mobility issues and staff ready and willing to help. Good car parking opposite the hotel entrance with drop off possible at the entrance itself. Hotel set in small watchmaking village in a charming rural environment.

The food was top class but a couple more choices on the dinner main course menu would be good. It would be nice if the adapted room had a comfortable arm chair and not just a desk chair. A chair like those in the Brasserie would work well and would fit OK in the corner of the room.

A fabulous location, quiet and serene. The architecture of the building made the hotel even more special and friendly for those with accessibility needs. The spa is a must do. The best massage I have had in a long time. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. Exactly what you would expect from Swiss standards! We wish we could have stayed longer.

You must book access to the wellness spa in advance - This is separate from a spa treatment (i.e massage). This is a great way of the hotel ensuring not too many people enter at once.

fascinating architecture, beautiful design & details. elegant comfy and original furniture

bed and bedding surprisingly hot. fab spa but shame no pool bar staff felt a little disorganised, tense and service in bar disjointed ie in timing between menu, drinks arriving (gin and tonic ordered but no ice or gin brought!). offered complimentary drink when we arrived in restaurant which we were charged for; would be nice to have had that in the bar. Loud, energetic toddler (4 year old?) in bar having their supper - created different atmosphere. Prefer one waitor/waitress in restaurant - not several - to make the experience a more personal.

The hotel itself and its comfort. The service at the reception was excellent and all our wishes were taken care of very professionally and in a friendly manner.

The food is not great. The dinner is OK, not brilliant and the breakfast a little poor for such a standard of hotel. the service at the dinner and breakfast is also lacking and not friendly.

Great facilities - We recommend booking the signature massage at the spa. Good Breakfast included with lots of options. Staff were amazing and handled all of our requests promptly. The architecture and design of this hotel is beautiful we loved our room.

The location, the style, decor, comfort and facilities.

The breakfast. It was extremely limited for the type of accommodation and as each day went by the choice was more limited. Also we were told breakfast was till 10:30 but on the last day, the staff wanted to clear the breakfast at 10:00. That is just not right. The staff struggled a bit with the English language

From start to finish, this Hotel exceeded our expectations: the reception; the room; the breakfast; the reading 'stairs' (including book selection); the peace and quiet it all exudes and the modern design fitting so well into the landscape exuding peace and quiet was wonderful. Too bad the snow was gone - cross-country skiing is just behind the hotel! p.s. Yes, you should reserve your time slot for the wellness area in advance. (Advantage: only up to 4 people there at same time)
