The Schwarzer Adler was a lovely hotel and provided so much more than we had expected. We ended up staying an extra night as it was such good value. The evening meal was a delicious set 5 course menu with a vegan option. The restaurant staff were brilliant and the restaurant manager really friendly and helpful. The hotel had a lovely family feel to it. There were so many thoughtful and lovely elements to the hotel. This included the outdoor and indoor pool, the collection from the station and the views. Just a great hotel that hopefully we will return to next year!

As it was hot, would try to book a room with a/c next time if possible or a balcony.

The breakfast was as good as any buffet breakfast that I have ever had. The variety was huge and all the ingredients were quality. I am quite particular about my bacon and they cooked it perfectly. The fruits were excellent and the fresh breads were delicious. You would be very satisfied if you were a vegetarian. They also had a massive variety of non-dairy products. The best part of the Hotel was the staff. The reception staff who initially greeted us made us feel welcome. The bar staff were always attentive and the waiting staff in the restaurant were clearly very well trained and seemed to enjoy their work.

We all felt that the hotel was amazing. a negative observation, rather than a complaint was there was a real aesthetic difference between the rooms that have been recently renovated and those that have not. However, the room that had not been renovated was perfectly comfortable (and was reflected in the price)

Every member of staff was so helpful and polite and it seemed like they remembered each of the kids names . Always happy to prepare something different or bring a high chair to the room for us. The facilities for the kids/toddlers aren’t talked about enough or shown on the website. It is so family friendly but not overwhelming amount of kids either. The family rooms were such a good size. We brought a two year old as well as a 1 year old and had the best time! Will definitely be back.

Fabulous location at the start of the main pedestrian zone. Spectacular view of the hills and mountains from our bed. Huge doors that could open right out were awesome. Afternoon sun was perfect. Beautiful authentic Austrian building. Great pools and spa areas. Nice selections for breakfast . Afternoon tea was a lovely treat. Accomodating and friendly staff. Easy parking at hotel. Gorgeous St Anton summer experience.

The hotel was simply outstanding in every manner. Parking was easy, the hotel itself was beautiful. The breakfast and the afternoon coffee and cake for guests was welcome after a day on the slopes. I enjoyed the spa and sky pool daily. I must say the Schwarzer Adler is how one should vacation. The hotel is one of the best experiences and stays I have had. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Absolutely nothing. Every staff member was friendly, the facilities were exceptional!

Staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The room was cleaned to a high standard daily. Spa area was so nice and relaxing after a hard day skiing. Great selection of food for breakfast, and afternoon tea, will be back.

Our room was opposite the bar with live music & a nightclub, could hear people leaving, was too loud to have windows open. Take earplugs and keep the windows closed and you'll be fine, or go to the club and join in. Would love to have a kettle in the room to make a cuppa in the morning.

the moment we were there there were looooooooooods of families with very small babies. Nothing against babies and they cry and scream of course, but would be amazing having them all in one space (and definitely not in the relaxing spa zone) so you don't have to hear a constant baby cry from early breakfast to late dinner.

Wonderful staff, very well located. So many things to do in St Anton in the summer! The pool is wonderful, there was a wide variety of food at breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious. Would stay again.

The bathroom wasn't super modern and the room maybe could have used an extra floorlight, but all in these are very small things,, my stay was very good.

Breakfast was very good. Waiting staff were excellent! The staff in the Hotel Schwarzer Adler are very welcoming and professional. I would particularly like to mention Zoran who was very helpful in organizing ski school, ski passes etc. I would also like to thank Anna for all her assistance and problem solving skills. It is a great hotel and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Didn't enjoy half board dinner. Did not feel it was value for money.

The Spa is amazing - especially the sky pool. It's a shame all the main sauna areas are naked only, but I guess that's just a cultural thing. Breakfast is very good - extensive variety

The single rooms are quite dated, but to be fair this is reflected in the price which was very reasonable. Beds were very comfy. Rooms are quite hot and you need to leave the windows wide open to cool them at times - even with the heating off.
