We booked 2 rooms, both were exceptional. Very large, comfortable beds, clean with good facilities. Coffee machine, bottled water, radio, TV. They even supplied a USB multi charger which was very much appreciated as my UK adapter did not fit in the plug sockets. The bathroom was very clean and some lovely toiletries were supplied. Also a hairdryer with various settings. Unfortunately our flight was delayed which meant we would not be able to check in before 11pm at the US Mex restaurant (which was also fabulous) however I contacted the hotel and they put the key card in a lock box for us which we found easy to use.

The villa crespo room was on the ground floor and the windows looked out onto a wall, that is only a minor issue as the room more than made up for it.

Hotel 2B is not a traditional hotel in the sense that it is a number of rooms in a building behind a restaurant. The restaurant is the reception where to get the key. The restaurant entrance is in the Vordergasse but the rooms look either onto the Münsterplatz or the courtyard between hotel and restaurant. My room was very big with a sort industrial interior design. Coffee machine with some capsules is present but there was no fridge. Big TV, good bathroom, large windows. All in all very comfortable. Reception was very friendly and there were some coupons for a free drink in the restaurant. There is a covered paid parking very close to the restaurant.

The hotel does not offer breakfast but it suggests going to the Reber bakery where they have good breakfast options and enough seating.

There is more in it as you might think. The staffs were super friendly and helped me with my very late arrival. The room was fantastic for me as a traveler who seeks something special. The room fit out is modern despite the look of the classic furniture. Everything has taste and style compared with a typical Swiss understatement. The room was enormous spacious, the bed big and for my taste too firm, the bathroom was not big, but modern, tasteful and clean.

Nothing really, despite that it was difficult to find a place for breakfast in the morning, as the hotel does not offer it.

The hotel is in the old town which the location is great. A few minutes walk you will see most attractions in Schaffhausen. IWC museum is just two blocks down. I am not a big Mexican food person, but the food in the restaurant at the hotel was pretty good. Beds are comfy and rooms are spacious. We booked two rooms and they are just like what we saw when making reservations. Although bathrooms are smaller but overall was good! When parking is limited at the hotel, they provided us free parking till 1100 (normally till 0800) during the stay which was very nice of them.

Parking is limited. After 1800 till 0800 you can park next to the hotel for free. But the slots are limited and had to drive around multiple times to get a spot. There is a overnight parkhaus down the road which is about 3 minutes walk if no spot available at all.

Huge room!! Nice decoration. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff at check in (you check in at the US Mex restaurant but all worked very smoothly). Lovely rainfall shower. Room was serviced daily very thoroughly. Huge, comfortable bed. Nice to have a sofa in the room too. Smart TV with Netflix. Brilliant location. Vouchers for the Mexican restaurant provided for a free drink each and also free chips and dips so we enjoyed a very reasonably priced meal there on our first night. A fan was also provided but the room stayed cool enough when we were there anyway. Everything was super clean.

If I'm being really picky, the bathroom fan was quite noisy. But really it was an amazing stay.

The location is fabulous! Right in the middle of everything. I was worried it would be noisy, but it was very quiet. Room was clean and quite roomy with lovely décor.

My flight arrived early in the morning, so I had to lug my luggage around before the restaurant opened at 11:30 and I could drop my bags off. This was just a slight inconvenience.

Good location, comfy beds, stylish room! We booked to stay here as part of our trip as we wanted to go to Rhine Falls. Unfortunately we arrived late due to our flight being cancelled so we arrived at the hotel at 9 o’clock and had a quick bite to eat in the restaurant, the food was lovely but we wish we had more time there. They also give you a coupon for a free drink (up to 6 CHF) and chips and dip which is very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area as the staff are very accommodating. We were also able to leave our luggage at the restaurant for the afternoon when we checked out!

The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, with clean bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The location is right in the old city center, next to a beautiful old church. Parking is right in front, and the hotel provides free parking vouchers until the following day. The staff was friendly and had no problem speaking English with us.

This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at in its price range. It was unforgettable because it was just so different to anything else. The bright Mexican decor of the biggest hotel room we have ever seen and the huge comfortable bed were amazing. Add a fantastic bathroom with an absolutely great shower, - like standing under a waterfall.The adjoining Mexican restaurant with a great atmosphere, completed the feeling that we were in Mexico not Switzerland. There was no air-conditioning but they provided a fan to keep us cool as the weather was hot. The staff were friendly and the late checkout was good.

Directions for the hotel did not say that you had to check in and enter through the Mexican restaurant so the address should have been different. For this reason we had trouble finding it and did a lot of extra walking to do so.. Exiting and re- entering early in the morning to go and find somewhere to eat breakfast, was a bit tricky because if no staff were around the restaurant was locked. I presume there was another exit but we weren't told about ir

The room was absolutely stunning and different from standard corporate hotel rooms. One side faces the main street and the back door opens towards the church. The best part is that you get 6 bucks off your meal (per person) at the US-MEX restaurant in addition to a free plate of chips and dips (per person).

Our particular room needed a little more water-proofing in the shower. The water somehow makes it out the shower door and floods the toilet area.
