We LOVED the central location of this hotel, which is super close to Pier 2 and the Love Canal docks. It's ON the Love Canal, so you have a good view of the water from the hotel and easy access to take morning walks along the river front walk right outside the hotel's door. It's also within ~10-min walk of the start of Pier 2 and all of the best parts of renovated Gaoxiong (which is especially excellent to visit on the weekend, when the surrounding Pier 2 parks + the site itself are in full swing, complete with all of the sellers being open and regular outdoor markets). The rooms are sufficiently big and modern. Our porch wasn't particularly inviting (concrete blocks, quite small, and you couldn't see the city from it) but the outside-the-hotel waterfront access made up for that. Similarly, the hotel doesn't have any internal green space (such as a courtyard or something) but you don't really need it with the access to all of the nearby parks and waterfront spaces. There are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and other retail right near by. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a DIY washer + dryer on the 9th floor, and a kids play room on the 3rd floor. Highly recommend taking the ferry to the nearby island and exploring there, as well as visiting Pier 2. The canal boat ride was fun to do at night after sunset.

The gym is small and the equipment is a bit dated. I just worked out outside each day instead on the waterfront, which is great for running, walking, or stationary workouts. There is also a huge 24/7 gym not too far away, if you prefer.

We had a lovely one-night stay at the Harbour 10 Hotel. The hotel is located right on the river, which gave us nice sunset views out the window. The bathroom was very fancy - with standing tub, and a shower with awesome pressure and adjustable height. The air conditioning was a lifesaver on a blistering Kaohsiung day. The bed was big and comfortable. Two 7-Elevens close by for easy food and drink options. I wish we would've stayed more than one night!

It was a bit further walk than we had realized to the MRT and the night market (my fault). Looks to be surrounded by business buildings - so probably more intended for business stays than backpacking tourists!

Food (breakfast buffet) was not the typical Taiwanese buffet you get. Great selections! Location was fantastic. Very near the Pier Art 2 Center and just by the banks of the Love River.

Price. Considering it was a holiday, it was about thrice the normal price. Room Layout. The bath tub and separate toilet and shower rooms were kinda off. Should have these in one bathroom & toilet. For the price we paid, we didn't even get a good view.

There was a free afternoon tea! Not actually afternoon tea, but they provided udon, rice, crackers, cake, fruits and veggies, and of course, tea! Staff were incredibly friendly, not perfect English but they were really helpful. Amazing views, we had a corner room so we got a river view. Pretty good location, close to many touristy things.

A little far from the closest train station, but there were many buses.

Great location. Fantastic view by the reviver, easy access to several local attractions, nice indoor kids playroom for small kids (mobile cars' weight limit: 25 kgs).

Hotel's indoor parking is a bit complicated, guests need to leave the car in front of hotel which is a parking forbidden zone and then leave the key to the reception parking service.

Friendly staff, help to call taxi whenever we asked. Location good but need to take a walk to reach public transportation and tourist attractions. That's why we need to call taxi. However, taxi is cheap in Kaoshiung. Breakfast and afternoon tea included, That's great!

We got two rooms with sea view and city view, in fact, there's no good things to view.

The location of hotel is just near the river which is good for anyone who want to have a good view in there bathroom. there is a big 7-11 nearby and restaurant. the breakfast is also good with variety of selection but it was quite croweded during my stay and many kids.

far away from metro station , we were out in a room back of the hotel facing a building under construction , instead of front rooms which faces the Love River . we were told that our room were upgraded room . really ???

Breakfast - a lot of options but breakfast was more like in Chinese style than International (what I would expect from 4stars hotel). No fresh fruit (except water melon), no fresh vegetable, no yogurt (+healthy/vegan options), no salami/cheese

The location was great as it's next to the river. Breakfast spread was good.

Room was rather dim and not that ideal for families. There is a step leading to toilet and afraid at night may missed it and trip over. Don't have sufficient tables to put things.
