Since I booked the one bedroom, naturally, only my husband and I were in the room. The room came with a bathroom that was decent and met the basic needs of a guest: high-pressure water, hot and cold shower, sink, etc. The place was right outside the MRT exit so that's pretty convenient. It was also near prime restaurants, food shops, and the famous night market in Kaohsiung so that's superb as well.

This isn't so much about the property but I think it has something to do with how they handle noisy guests. During our stay, there was a large group of teenagers who booked the hostel. During dinner, my husband and I decided to eat at the common area this group was extremely noisy and some of them got themselves into an altercation. The staff wasn't around because it was late but I told them the next day and I thought it would've been addressed or maybe reprimanded them since there were also other guests who were staying at their property. They didn't seem to bother at all since the noise and the rowdy behavior of this group continued.

The location is perfect, right by Formosa Boulevard Station. I considered paying more for a hotel near the harbour but I'm glad I didn't. It's so easy to take the metro. The common room has a fabulous view! I sat there reading for most of one day and really enjoyed it. The dorm was clean and the AC worked well. The shower was easy to use, the toilets clean and there are separate bathrooms for men and women. I'd stay here again. A tip for others so they don't walk back and forth like me: the building isn't immediately obvious when you step out of the station, but there's a sign for the hostel in the lobby, so look closely at the doors. If you step back, you can also see the name on the building itself.

Location! About 20 steps from the Dome of Light MRT station, and just a few more to the start of the night market. The facilities included everything you could ask for - spacious and comfy common area, fully equipped shared kitchen, roomy showers with geniunely hot water and free towels, nice big lockers in the rooms. Beds were large and cozy with curtains for privacy, a small shelf, and two hangers for clothes. The check in/out times are better than the industry standard (check in from 13:00, check out untill 12:00), and the staff allowed us to leave our luggage next to the reception even a few hours before check in while we explore the city. All of this while remaining one of the cheaper options on this platform - possibly the best value for money you can find!

Bed mattresses were on the softer side. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, depending on your preference.

I liked everything about this hostel. It's clean, in the best possible location (30 seconds on foot from Formosa Boulevard station, 2 min on foot from the nearest night market), has a pretty big and well equipped kitchen and the staff are very nice and helpful. It was my first time travelling alone, and I came to Taiwan all the way from Poland, but thanks to the people who work there, I felt at home in this hostel. I stayed in a six-person room, but felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole month long stay.

I love this hostel so much! It has the best view of Kaohsiung city from the common area. One of the best hostels in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, it is conveniently located in the heart of the city with easy access to public transportation, night markets, bars, shops, 7/11 and restaurants in walking distance. The MRT Formosa Boulevard Station (Exit 1) is just opposite to the hostel. The dorm room I had was very clean and the curtains around the beds provided privacy. You also had lockers to keep your stuff, though it could have been a bit bigger. But it hardly mattered to me. The AC inside the room was super cold. However, the beds were soft and comfy (love that the comforters are thick since the AC can cool the room real fast). There's a kitchen, laundry machine, comfortable lavatory area, slippers, drinking water, and continuous supply of Tea / coffee. Unlike most hostels where you have to go up and down the stairs, this hostel also has elevators. But the best part is, this hostel had a huge common area with the best view of Kaohsiung city. I could just sit there for hours and watch the world go by. Well, it might make you wonder why I wanted to just sit there instead of exploring the city. Well, the reason was the typhoon which brought the city to a standstill. But it was an amazing 3-night stays and I would definitely stay here if I have the opportunity to come back to Kaohsiung again.

It is central, just opposite the exit/entrance of the Formosa Boulevard MRT. Felt safe there due to security measures. Facilities to do laundry. Night market is close by and one stop on the MRT from the station. A kitchen ti prepare meals. Love to sit in the lounge area as one gets a great view if the traffic.

Bed mattress is a bit on the soft side. Same with pillow. It would have been lovely if the kitchen is stocked with tea/coffee but there is a machine that provides cool and hot water.

The bed was nice and comfortable! The Locker was just ok for a Carry-on bag They do provide towels but the staff didn't tell me about it so I didn't use it. The common area has a nice view and is nice to chill ! Close to the station and next to night market

The lift was a bit smelling and dusty! The bathroom area was a bit hot The top bed didn't cover all of them so if someone turned on the light could wake you up ! And they couldn't let you drop the luggage after check out ( I think because of the space)

There is a small locker in the room, we have to put our suitcases next to this locker. The location was really nice, near 美麗島 station. The room, the common space, the restroom are so clean. The Wi-Fi is sometimes a little weak when there are lots of people, especially for weekends.

The pillow was too soft, and I couldn't sleep enough because I like the harder one. If you like the harder, you should bring your own pillow.

As a lot of well rated hostels in taiwan, everything is clean and modern, and all the needed equipment is there. Calm.

The clerk at the reception was at the same time nice and grumpy, it was a bit weird (not a lot of formal politness, somewhat harsh answers, but did answer your questions and helped with the laundry). He was here rather late (like 10:30 or more) which is a plus compared to a lot of others hostels. Still, better do your own research on activities and places to go.

Incredible location right by a night market and a formosa station (a main station in Kaohsiung). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Washing machine and dryer available for use. Beds are matched with a locker and there are hangers in the beds. Beds and comforters are very comfortable. Common space has a huge window overlooking the street with comfortable chairs and many available outlets. Stable wifi.

On the 6th floor so need to take elevator when exit/entering.
