Location was good, it was 10mins walk away from Tai Chung station. If you are looking to go Sun Moon Lake or Nan Tou, the express bus station is nearby. It is also very close to 2nd Market which is a popular breakfast place. It was a less than 10mins walk. Room was relatively spacious. There is also a bakery just beside the hotel. Staff also helped to turn on the aircon before check in as it was very hot. There was also snacks and drinks provided for free.

The hotel is located really close to the train station, so it is very easy to start your journey here. The room is comfy with plenty of space. It is very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking space. The private parking spaces around the area are very overpriced and in bad condition. As it is close the the station, parking at the side of the road is very difficult to find too. It's not recommended if you drive. It's a shame the bar is permanently closed (I think this needs to be mentioned on the website) because there's another local bar next door. But there are plenty of other bars around the area, so it's not too difficult to find a nightcap.

This was our first typhoon and we were uncertain about what to expect. We felt very safe at Bluesky Hotel. The staff members were kind and reassuring and the building structure sturdy. The location is an 8 minute walk from the train station. There are restaurants, a bakery, POYA, convenience stores, shops, and the Central Bookstore nearby. It might be easy to miss the nice lounge area as it’s tucked away on the 2nd floor but it’s a cozy place for reading or to have a light take-out dinner. We spent 5 nights.

Shower curtain could be sturdier as it is easy for water to leak on the floor. It can be slippery. Not really an issue if you’re careful.

Centrally located within Taichung, well-positioned to explore the Second Market, various museums and central sights such as the Miyahara Eye Clinic and the train station/railway park (plus close to important trunk lines in the city's excellent bus network). The room was thoughtfully laid out and the welcome bag with local snacks was a nice touch. Staff were welcoming and wanted to make sure we could find everything we needed, which we did. (People with a fear of heights may prefer the elevator on the left in the lobby as the elevator on the right has windows so you can see yourself getting higher and higher above the street.) Bedding was comfortable and temperature in the room was easy to keep comfortable.

No real complaints - we wish our stay in the city had been longer! One brief idiosyncrasy is that the "do not disturb/make up room" light indicator does not work if you take your keycard out of the slot that allows the room to be powered - the staff suggested that we should simply leave one of our two cards in the room, but this seemed a little silly to us since it defeats the purpose of having an electricity-saving slot! This is very minor though and honestly the staff was very accommodating - when we noted this at the front desk, in addition to suggesting that we leave a card in the room they also made sure to note our room number down so that housekeeping wouldn't go in when they weren't needed.

This hotel was so comfortable. We had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and super clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The decor was very relaxing. We really enjoyed being in the space when we were not out and about. There is a popular bakery on the corner, to the right as you exit the hotel. Delicious croissants, matcha honey cake, pineapple cake, spring onion roll. We had to put our breaks on the day we decided to let ourselves loose in the bakery. Highly recommend getting at least one item from here. There is a cute cafe around the corner from the bakery called “bathe in moonlight “. If you appreciate a great coffee and enjoy a quiet space, I highly recommend this one. I loved the lemon iced coffee and matcha latte. We also had the pancakes and apple pie. We were hoping to return on our last day for another round of pancakes and apple pie, but our travel schedule changed and it didn’t happen. Please try, you will not be disappointed. Location 10/10. Close to train/bus station. A 20 minute walk to some cool shopping malls (LalaPort with a north and south wing).

Great location and only a short 10 minute walk to the station. Lovely decor and very clean hotel. The entrance/lobby was stunning and the room fragrance was beautiful! Lots of complimentary water in the room which was a nice addition. Shower/bathroom was great! Also a lovely very large bed in the room with a very comfortable mattress. Pillows maybe a little firm for me personally but not an issue. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Will definitely come back here to stay when visiting Taichung!

Only a small thing, but our room had a large window for the entire end wall which looked out onto an area with neighbouring buildings so we had to keep the curtains drawn which made the room very dark when it was lovely and bright outside. Totally understand this isn’t the hotels fault but maybe an under layer of a more lightweight curtain would be great so that you can close these and have privacy but you don’t have to draw the main heavy curtains and can still let the light in from outside.

Beddings is very comfortable. The bed is hugh! The room is clean, delight that it’s a non carpet floor.

The shower curtain is a little bit moulded, which makes me a bit uneasy, could pay a little bit more detail to that. The design of the bathtub is not user friendly. If you stand in the tub to have a shower, the water will drip through the side down and make the floor all wet. This could be solved by sitting to shower and be careful not to spread the water to certain area.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Although they didn’t provide breakfast, there is a famous bakery right next door which opens from 9am-9.30pm. Different varieties of tidbits/snacks were provided each day. We stayed in 4 hotels in Taiwan and this is the only hotel that provided full toiletries. We had to cancel a room due to some medical emergency and the hotel kindly did it for free. Thank you!

The bathtub area doesn’t have proper drainage. First night after bathing, the whole floor is wet. We had to put a towel to block the water from flowing down to the floor.

the property is one of the most aesthetic ones i have ever seen. there are instagrammable spots from the entrance to the lobby and up to your room. additionally, the hospitality is exceptional. we were greeted with friendly staff from when we checked in to when we checked out. they greeted us whenever we entered and exited the hotel regardless of what the time was. furthermore, there were 2-3 times we needed assistance and they certainly went all out to help us as soon as possible.

the only thing i did not like about the property is perhaps the location. for example, it is about a 10-15 minutes walk from taichung station depending on your pace. additionally, there are not many eateries open after hours hence it is a little inconvenient when we are hungry at night.

Great atmosphere and setup. The site was beautifully designed and the space was well maintained. If you are a fan of "old school" / retro / MCM vibes, this is definitely for you. Check out the second floor too; they also have a water dispenser! The room was well set up and super comfortable (bed was slay; not too soft) and the bathroom tiling (and floors, in general) was absolutely beautiful and clean! They also include yummy Taichung snacks for your visit and enjoyment!! Wish we had stayed longer tbqh.
