Forgive us, but we loved because it was a Japanese standard facilities and service which we’re comfortable with. Staffs were polite and eager to help despite of influent English spoken. Easy access by bus. Get off at ‘Taichung Prefecture Hall’ stop. Family Mart was just around the corner. Many breakfast choices and standard taste. Spacious and clean room with window. High power water allowed relaxed and happy time in shower.

Reaching hotel on foot from Taichung Station was not entirely pleasant all the way. The part from Taichung to the canal was enjoyable, but felt insecure after. Recommend to travel by bus for heavy luggage or late night walker. Price was a bit high considering weekday stay and quite a distance from the station.

Spacious room with newer carpet and decor. Bathroom was large with separate bath and shower. The staff were excellent and very helpful with multiple requests we had. We especially want to thank Eddie (Front Desk) for his ‘beyond the call of duty’ service. He was always gracious and helpful, as were the other staff members.

The shower floor was very slippery and I slipped and hit my head against the back shower wall. Just a bump in the head resulted though, but we had to insure using the bath floor rubber mat they provided to avoid slipping again. Also, the bed was a bit on the hard side, but slept well regardless.

Breakfast buffet was standard Taiwanese selection with fair hours. The ground floor restaurant was good for lunch. Chose this hotel due to location near central train station which was about 10 minutes walk away. Bus stop for Sun Moon Lake also close by.

View from room was over a car park. Taichung does not seem to have an obvious centre so getting to other parts of the city a little difficult from here as not close to a metro.

Very good htl . Exceptional staff at the front desk ..Eddy in particular helped me considerably when I had a money access problem. Room was excellent . Far from the HSR sation but the taxi was not expensive. Local train station approx. 12 min. walk away. All in all I was very happy at the hotel.

Good central location close to the train station. A few minutes away from bus stops. Great restaurants in the area. We went to Sun Moon Lake for a day trip, and the bus stop for that is so close by. Staff speaks good English, and it was generally a great experience.

Felt like some of the facilities and items in the room were a bit dated, but it was overall still comfortable.

very good location, ten minutes walk from Taichung main station, close to big convenient store and most of the restaurants, tourist spots and souvenir shops.

When we entered the room it smells like there's nobody using the room for a long time. Since it was a pretty hot sunny day, the air-condition was a little bit weak compare to the other room we booked, but the staff help to change the air-condition settings after we raised the issue.

Breakfast was fantastic with loads of vegetarian and vegan options. Front desk staff , especially the girl were fantastic, helped us sort out an existing tour booking, making phone calls with tour provider and translating for us. Went out of her way to help. Thank you!

The hotel is in a convenient location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Eddie at the front desk for helping us to set up transportation.

The bathroom floor was very slippery.

extremely big, clean and spacious room! toilet had separate shower and bathtub which is appreciated. breakfast variety is not huge but quite tasty, enjoyed it.

room decor felt a little dated but not really a fault since it was clean. self-service laundry is also located in quite a shady area (carpark, in a pretty dark location) so do take note.

Dryer took too long to dry clothes, do not like the last 10-20 mins when it automatically cool-dry.
