Even though the place was at capacity, the atmosphere was very relaxed and private. No guests seemed to bother any other ones at the slightest. The pictures aren't overly artificial; rather, depict the property well. The pool was clean. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly. We had the anchovy pizza and it was extremely good. (So good that the surcharge to have it with cheese was quickly forgotten. But maybe this is my ignorance. Maybe it is supposed to be without cheese.)

Our room wasn't ready until about 5pm due to an extraordinary circumstance (as in, this will likely not happen to you) which didn't bother us much. We thought two drinks on the house whilst we wait would be a fair resolution. But the request wasn't understood; that language of customer service not spoken by the receptionist. We tried the Mojito and it wasn't good. (Rum and coke and gin and tonic were very much on point, though. So was the juice.) Real nice breakfast setup with tasty options. However, they use the tiny plastic butter/jelly containers which they could probably improve away from (speaking from a sustainability/minimize (plastic) waste perspective). Be prepared for roughly 10usd additional charge per night in taxes and fees.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and it was absolutely remarkable. Despite the initial rain, which made things quite gloomy, the staff's smiles quickly overcame that. Their enthusiasm and happiness were contagious. The housecleaner was astonishing, cleaning the room every day and leaving delightful towel swans and decorative flowers. I loved the breakfast, with a special shoutout to the host who greeted us with a huge smile and great admiration. She made our mornings amazing. We had lunch a few times, and I must say, the pizza was the best I’ve ever had. As for the location, Jambiani Beach is beautiful with plenty of lounge spaces. It’s a bit of a drive from Paje, but it was worth it. The hotel made us feel very comfortable, always checking on us and making us feel at home. The energy of the staff was incredible. Thanks to the receptionist who kindly arranged both our early check-in and late check-out. This hotel is certainly great value for money, and I recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Jambiani.

The location is great, right by the beach. The food is REAL ITALIAN FOOD! I was so delighted to find this out. They have a cute dog as well. I loved being able to sit down in the terrace and see the sunset right there. Breakfast was yummy.

There was a weird smell in the rooms when we got there. There should be better a curtain in the bathroom window since someone from the outside could see you while you shower if they really wanted. A bit overpriced compared to other properties in the island, but still nice.

Great beachfront location - quiet and cozy to chill and relax. beautiful beach, friendly staff, delicious food (authentic Italian cuisine). World-class wifi (best we’ve experienced in Tanzania). Really good value for money!

It was such an incredible experience staying just a few steps away from the beach. When browsing places to stay, I didn't see anything else like it within the same price range. The staff were so warm and friendly (I'm not sure why some reviews say otherwise. Perhaps it's just a language barrier?) The hotel and staff were very accommodating in terms of our vegetarian diet and packing our meals for our late check-in and early check-out (We booked half-board). We received bottled water in our room everyday. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily. It's true that the hotel is in a quieter location but we really appreciated how peaceful it was there, especially considering the fact that we visited the island during the peak season. We were also pleasantly surprised that there is a small spa on the property and tours could be booked through the hotel or at the diving centre just next door. Everything was very convenient for us. Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations and we were sad to leave.

No complaints, but some suggestions would be to add a soap holder to the shower, a drying rack for swimwear and to include some more vegan/vegetarian options on the half-board menu. Note that there are sometimes water and power disruptions which, if I'm not mistaken, is a problem for the whole island, but I think the hotel has a back-up power supply so the power would kick back in within a few seconds. We were never really inconvenienced by it.

The rooms opened up directly onto the sandy beach, beautiful views of the sea. The staff were very friendly and helped organise the activities for the weekend. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

The rooms were a little basic, the ensuite was a shower/toilet wet room, which could do with updating.

I really enjoyed that the hotel had a great location and was located on the beach. Overall, it was very beautiful. The Italian restaurant has amazing food. The pizza is absolutely delicious. In addition, the breakfast at the hotel was also amazing. There were plenty of options, and it was included in the stay. It was truly a great way to start the day! I was also extremely pleased with the hotel staff. They are very friendly and accommodating, and not to mention, very helpful. All in all, I am very satisfied.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. The only thing is that the hotel rooms were not the most fancy; they could use a bit of renovation.

The location it great 10/10 ⭐️ the Italian restaurant of course is excellent, but the most important thing were the people that work there. Super nice, all the team! Mary from reception, Hadija the girl who gives the massage and the guys at the restaurant: Loveness, Zainath, Mussa, Liissa the Bartender and all the Kitchen staff ❤️ They make you feel at home, always happy and smiling 🙂 For us was the first time in Zanzibar and for sure we will coming back to Geo Paje it’s 7 min away so if you want a little action you can drive there and come back to the peaceful Geo!

We like EVERYTHING 🌞

Friendly staff. Owners always around, so you could talk to them. Probably the best food we ate at this restaurant during our stay comparing to all around the island. Location directly at the beach. Quiet place. Clean rooms. AC working in the room.

Nothing to do much around (but it might be perfect who want's just lay down on the beach and do nothing). Rooms could be renovated.

Quiet beach, amazingly friendly staff. Perfect for a relaxed couple vacation. Also nice pool to enjoy while low tide. Walking to Paje about an hour, to Jambiani like 30-45 min. Location for me was just perfect and exactly what I wished for.

Unfortunately they didn’t provide a mini fridge in the room so you couldn’t cool private food/drinks even though the bar/restaurant and the ones around close quite early. Not a lot of storing space, but not a problem if you don’t mind living out of your suitcase for a few days. Breakfast bread was a bit dry and sweet most of the time and unfortunately there was no real coffee only instant.
