Location right on beach. Inviting reception area. We stayed in one of the bungalows and rom was well-sized and clean. Enough sunbeds and beach/pool towels included. Pool bar, beach bar, coffee shop, gym and onsite spa available. Good and healthy breakfast options. Buffet dinner with new selections every day on a 7-day rotation. Quality and selection was good. Biggest plus is smiling and friendly staff throughout the resort.

The area surrounding the hotel is not inviting you to a walk.

Nothing much that could be better. If there is small thing that you should know, is the fact that the Hotel is at the beach but the beach is not realy usable. In high tide it is flooded in low time it is covered by calp.

Staff were extremely friendly. The resort is stunning with exceptional views. The bars and restaurants are clean.

The resort didn’t have many activities (or they weren’t communicated) and some you have to pay for, such as the sip and paint. The toilets at the pool area needed to be cleaned more often. It was disappointing to know that the resort doesn’t serve lamb or pork which limits the options for those who don’t eat beef.

The beautiful view of the ocean, clean facilities, the food was excellent. We paid for all inclusive and it definitely worked out well for us and we had access to a selection of drinks as well. The members of staff were friendly and made us feel at home.

The service for the beach area has room for improvement. The lady who was assignedto serve us only bothered to get an order when we arrived there and she introduced herself, thereafter she didnt bother to come and get orders despite reminding her to do so.

Fantastic beach right outside of property. Great pool area with swim up bar. The gardens are lush and well taken care of. Good selection of drinks and food at restaurant. Staff were incredibly friendly and felt very secure with on site 24/7 security. Not that you need this but it felt very secure, that you could leave your belongings to go swim in the sea for example. Definitely recommend eating at the seafood restaurant - one of the best food experiences during our time in Zanzibar.

Could be more bar snacks available throughout the day. The pizza and burgers were a little heavy every day. It would’ve been nice to have had a wider selection, especially if you are doing all inclusive for a longer stay.

The rooms were beautifully appointed and the beds were like fluffy marshmallows. Every day cleaning came and made the beds sprinkled with flowers. The location was amazing, right on the beach and there were plenty of recliners available. We at dinner at the Fisherman's Grill which was also right on the water. It was lovely but the food could have done wih more spices considering where we were.

The temperature of the pool water was like a hot bath! Understandably this is beyond their control although I wonder if some sort of shading over the pool might help.

Literally everything! 1. I’ll start with the very welcoming and friendly staff all over the property! the professional management, reception, room service/cleaners, bar tenders and the amazing dining room staff! we ordered a romantic dinner to celebrate a birthday and they made it very special!! 2. The room: we stayed in an ocean view room which is just few steps away from nungwi beach. the view from the room is incredible! the room has all the facilities a good resort should have. the beach sun beds and the beach bar are just few steps away! 3. Pool area is very nice! you can swim to the pool bar and enjoy a seat on the bar while you’re in the pool! having the all inclusive package I tried all the food options in the pool bar throughout the stay-all of it was filling and delicious! large variety of cocktails and drinks. 4. Dining room menu changes every day, a lot of decisions food options! I would’ve expected more sea food options though. the dining room itself is clean. The serving staff are adorable! always smiling and welcoming. never had to wait for a waitress for anything! they were always there to serve with a smile. To sum up I can easily rate this stay to be on of the best resort stays we ever had. I won’t think twice to book it again if traveling again to Zanzibar.

nothing not to like - but if I have to mention something I would say the roads leading to the property which are in a very bad condition! I would blame the local authorities and the government for this not the hotel. Also some shower facilities are fully functional but can be renewed.

The view from the room was so beautiful and the room was quite spacious and very clean. The beach was definitely better than the west coast beaches.the staff was all super nice except maybe one.the burger and chips and pizza that you can order while on the sun loungers are quite good and such a great idea.the music at the beach bar.the cocktails were quite good too.the internet/wifi was faster than what we had experienced at one other fancier resort we stayed at.the food at the fisherman's grill(which is not part of the all inclusive option) was quite good.

The food variety at the buffet restaurant wasn't great.it was a lil less than what we are used to in south africa.the bed mattress was too soft(not in a good way).the shower head not quite steady so we had to struggle to place it just right so that the water doesn't spray the whole bathroom. Its important to note the beach is not private so the locals will definitely try get you to buy stuff when you just trying to walk on the beach and sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming and invasive.we found zanzibar in general not this hotel only a lil more expensive than traveling to other similar places.

I want to start by thanking the pool bar staff and the restaurant staff ! They are amazing, always smiled and friendly. The same for the staff who maintain the rooms!

The only dissatisfaction is with the reception staff. I had paid $2.800 for my stay and when I asked them for 5 hours late check out they told me $90.00. 🙄 Also when I asked them for a taxi to stone town and return they said $ 120, then I found another one for $ 50 for both directions. I think that's a lot.

The staff was amazing! Particularly, Devota M. and Finath H. They took excellent care of me. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, attentive and accommodating. I stayed at Nungwi for 6 nights and 7 days and I felt like family! The food was very good. The entertainment was very good. Walking on the beach and talking with locals was so much fun. I enjoyed my time here...will definitely be back!

The roads to the hotel are terrible. But I don't blame the hotel for that. That's my only negative.
