We had the most incredible family getaway at "Nice Beach" resort on Koh Phangan! (German couple with 2 kids age 2 and 6) It was the perfect ending to our 4 week adventure, and we could have easily stayed longer (we were here for 12 days) From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a dreamy atmosphere of relaxation and warmth. The resort's beach, Tong Nai Pan, was simply breathtaking—a true heaven for both parents and kids. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, fulfilling every request with a smile. We especially loved the evening BBQs where the owner grilled the freshest catch of the day—a delicious touch that added to the overall charm. Dinner was so delicious. (restaurant is on the beach by the way - we loved it) The surrounding area was filled with conveniences, from a variety of restaurants, supermarket to a fantastic playground for the little ones. We also appreciated the availability of services like massages, yoga school and even a children's doctor nearby. What truly stood out was the authentic experience we had. Unlike larger, more commercialized resorts, "Nice Beach" embodied the true spirit of Thailand. The locals were incredibly welcoming and child-friendly, making us feel right at home. Overall, the value for money was exceptional, and we're already planning our next visit. "Nice Beach" resort exceeded all our expectations and provided us with memories to cherish for a lifetime. We can't wait to return!

This place should be named Perfect Beach Resort rather than Nice. The rooms are specious and well decorated, the staff and service are kind and helpful and the food is great. We loved our time on the most beautiful beach, rented a SUP board and took late afternoon swims during sunset. Will definitely be back, thank you Bao and team!

It's far from the center of the island, should rent a car if you want to explore the area. We loved the remoteness for 5 nights we stayed there

Very clean, modern family room with a large bathroom and plenty of space for us and our daughter. Beautiful location right on the beach - very peaceful, not crowded. Very nice, clean pool. Lots of great options for lunch and dinner along the beach. Food was great. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Very reasonably priced - would definitely recommend a stay here. And they have a gorgeous dog!

Nothing, it was all great!

The tranquility, the tropical garden with nature sounds, the bungalow with the large terrace, the relaxed staff, the beach. Food in the own restaurant is good and affordable. There are other nice restaurants right on the beach and a small store right next to the accomodation. The village with a food court and more stores is a 10 minute walk across the beach. The bay is beautiful, but very remote, you should consider that in advance. We felt great at Nice Beach Resort and regretted staying only four days.

How quiet the evenings are depends on the neighbors, as the bungalows are quite close to each other. We were lucky most of the time. In our bungalow (on the east side) the back window went directly onto the wall and the air conditioners of the next resort. It didn't bother us since the window is usually closed. The advantage of these bungalows is that they have lot of shade on the terrace in the morning.

It is an amazing resort at the cutest beach, simple but very nice. The restaurant, the view and the staff were perfect. The bungalows are very close to the beach/pool and are in very garden like area. The location was very quite and the other guests very quiet and chilled. Not too many party people nor children.

The bathroom furnishings seem old and not ideal, they could use a renovation.

Even though the weather wasn't the nicest we were able to enjoy our stay with everything handy; the restaurant, pool and the beach. The waiters were very nice and attentive. The room even had umbrellas in the wardrobe. The beach is beautiful, they also have scheduled taxi (2x per day) to the main pier for 250baht/person, which is cheaper than calling a regular taxi. If you put out the please clean sign, they change the towels and make up the room daily. There were shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer provided. The area is peaceful, lots of families visiting.

There was a certain smell in the room, coming from the mattress, my guess is there was a family with a kid who peed theirself and they didn't inform the staff about that.

the resort is next to the beach with a nice swimming pool. the dining on the beach is very nice. the staff are friendly and helpful. (beach is mainly occupied by families on holiday)

Great resort right on the beach. We had a room right near the pool and it was a good size and location with a nice bathroom. The staff were all brilliant and spoke good English, they were also super helpful when my wife was ill. Food in the restaurant was tasty, and as vegetarians there were a few options and they were able to change some dishes to have tofu instead of meat, also the hot chocolate and mocha must be had when you are here as they are delicious. Pool is nice, and you can also rent out kayaks and paddleboards to take in the sea. The location is perfect if you want to be in a quieter area of Koh Phangan.

Tea and coffee in the room would be nice

On the beach, great pool. The menu was varied and very good, with a BBQ most nights. We ate on the beach for 4 nights not feeling the need to go elsewhere. We had originally booked a cabin with just a fan but was asked on arrival if we wanted to upgrade, which we did to a new bungalow with air-con and very nice.

Not really, maybe a couple of extra sun beds on the beach as there is only room for a few by the pool. We used the hotels deckchairs when none were available.

Very friendly staff. Right outside a very nice beach. Tasty food in the restaurant at reasonable prices.

The room type we stayed in needs a bit of updating. The pool could be cleaner. Location is a bit remote, to get there from the Tongsala pier you will have to take a taxi and on Koh Panghan taxi proces are fixed ( it's a rip off and since that's the agreed price noone will do it for cheaper). So it was quite expensive to get to the resort and to move anywhere really. Not the resorts fault, but just saying it is in the remote location .
