I absolutely loved my stay at Momento Bangtao! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, they were always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect and that I had everything I needed and more! The location of the property is super convenient and it’s very nice and has a sleek finish. The terrace above the rooms was incredible and a nice spot where you can eat, rest and just chill out. The rooms were super clean and the bed was really comfortable, it has an aircon and a fan in the room to ensure that you don’t overheat. Overall my stay was absolutely amazing and the hosts have great attention to detail and are also very accommodating and kind. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We had a really nice stay at the momento. The staff are friendly and courteous and provided everything we needed including arranging early breakfasts. The rooms are clean, well decorated and comfortable. The breakfasts were particularly good, probably the best we've had while staying in hotels over the last couple of years. It's two minutes walk from the beach and much quieter than the other resorts which is good for us.

Not much about the hotel can be improved. The hotel do charge extra for arranging transport which is disappointing and charged us 1000 Baht for a ride from the airport to the hotel. The return trip to the airport was 700 baht if we booked our own car. Tuk Tuks in the area were too expensive which is frustrating. $4.40 USD for a 1.2km trip and they wouldn't negotiate lower. Best to download grab and use grab for any travelling or just rent a scooter for longer trips (which the hotel provides).

The made to order breakfast was excellent.The small kitchenette was real handy for keeping drinks cold. Got a bag of ice from 7-11 and put it in our freezer. We were the only guests during the rainy season that was at the hotel, we were there for almost three weeks, we were in heaven. The staff, Gina, Noon and both boys were amazing. The location was fantastic....beach was a short walk from hotel, (across the street) restaurants, shops, massage shops, tour guide booths, taxis, tuk tuks and money exchange kiosks.

There was no pool, but the ocean was across the street.

The staff were excellent- told us some great places to go and were very welcoming and kind. The room was clean and was cleaned/ bed made everyday. The hotel is just amazing- the design is modern and cool. It’s right on Bang Tao beach which is great- this is a perfect location- grab yourself a moped from next door and explore the island. Bang Tao is also very lovely- has got some amazing beach bars (for example Catch Beach club, Hugo Hub, Beach Pig). Also plenty of places to buy yummy fruit for breakfast/lunch just on the beach.

if you are planning to stay for a while the breakfast could become repetitive.

stylish and clean hotel. our room had all the facilities including kitchen, separate bedroom and even small living room. They gave us many towels, it’s rare thing in not expensive hotels in Thailand.

Friendly staff and always ready to help with my questions or anything that can make my stay better. I appreciated that there was HBO aside from Netflix in the room! My favourite part was the comfortable bed and pillows though. I was well rested every night, so much so that I always woke up late and missed breakfast lol. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Momento Bangtao and will recommend to anyone!

The staff were amazing - my husband was nervous to eat the breakfast as he has a peanut allergy and was worried that the breakfast was cooked in peanut oil, the hosts ensured that there were no peanuts and provided alternative breakfast options! They even gave us a key ring to take home on check out which I thought was a lovely touch. The villa we stayed in was very nice, and they did a lovely display on our bed and gave coconut water as it was our honeymoon.

That was an amazing experience! Very friendly and helpful stuff with customer-oriented attitude. Very close to the ocean. Nice area with lots of shops and restaurants. Quiet inside area. Very nice decoration and all you need for comfortable stay: beds, kitchen with microwave, cooking pan and all dishes, water and napkins, tea and coffee.

There are no windows outside, only inside the inner little area where all other 4 rooms are also looking at.

We chose to go on an adventurous walk for breakfast, but we had a very short walk to the beach and Cherry (shuh-ree) was so friendly and offered great conversation and recommendations for things to do in the area! The atmosphere of the hostel was perfect for our first night in. There was a really peaceful rainstorm that rolled through, so I dimmed the lights and opened our room door to listen to the storm and chirping birds outside our window.

Because all rooms had a large window front that connect in a communal outdoor hallway, we could hear our neighbors every time they stepped outside their room to have phone conversations/meetings vs using the common space upstairs or staying inside their room. This didn't bother us too much, except someone sounded like they were having a meeting pretty early in the morning right next door - thankfully with jetlag, we were already waking up - nothing Momento could've done to prevent this though, just something to be mindful of!
