Nice, quiet boutique hotel. Fabulous breakfast in the spacious garden at the river. Interesting architecture and design with many details. Location is near the city but not for walking there (no proper sideways or walking trails), but getting a Grab taxi is easy within a few minutes. The rooftop pool is very relaxing and we were mostly alone. The rooms are nice with a view into the trees/nature near the river. Bathroom spacious and nicely designed. Very friendly staff.

The naming of the hotel is a bit confusing. It says “formerly X2” but then you see the X2 signs everywhere. Taxi and Tuktuk drivers don’t know the hotel, but with Google Maps and Grab it all isn’t a problem.

My wife and I had one of our best hotel stays ever here. The staff go to extra mile to welcome you. The staff are sensitive to your needs and really made this a very memorable stay. Great value. The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. And the toilets were very elegant. A very strong 5star hotel. A very elegant hotel with lovely nature within it. The breakfast was definitely the best breakfast I've had for a hotel stay. Great variety to choose from. They even served champagne for breakfast. The restaurant staff were very attentive. High-quality breakfast. They even had a duo playing live music one morning. That was really such rarity. The pool was glorious and clean. Nice fluffy towels. I would definitely be back here if I'm in Chiang Mai. This hotel really is a gem. I'd say many 5 star hotels need to learn from this great hotel.

_Service_ Loved it from the moment of arrival. Warm smile, juice, ice cream, chocolate, macaron, brownie, cookies, snacks.. Food surely has a power! _Breakfast_ We could choose as many as we want from the breakfast menu. There were variety of food from rice to yogurt but the overall taste was so so. Breakfast set (fruits, pastries, toasted bread, butter, jam) is served at each table. There also is a small buffet - fresh juice, milk, salad, honey, cereal, champagne. Friendly servers. Quite satisfying. _Restaurant_ It was way above my expectation. The ambience, service, presentation, taste were all good. Except that the chef seemed to be quite into the use of starch so there were similar gluey texture from different dishes. The lady with short hair was very professional and I also liked other servers. Satisfying. _Pool & Gym_ Beautiful and not crowded rooftop pool. It was perfect depth for us, not too deep to walk around or play, not too shallow to swim. The gym is equipped with 2 incline treadmills(1 not working), 1 spinning, 1 elliptical, dumbbells from 2.5kg. It was always just me or one more person during our stay. Satisfying.

_Room_ Spacious bathroom with ventilation! The bed was comfy. Useful amenities. But the carpet was dirty and found some hair on the floor. Our room was on 3rd floor and we had the balcony door open as the a/c smelled old. Cigarette smell from the ground floor was annoying. Quite unsatisfying.

The location was great and close by to everything we wanted to see. The food and breakfast was incredible along with the view of the restaurant. Every single staff member was amazing, personable and always went above and beyond for us. Moth specifically was so friendly, helped us order food and made sure we had a breakfast to-go when we left early in the morning. He gave us many recommendations and every single one of them was perfect. We would trust moth with our lives.

Hotel was immaculate, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all delicious. I have to give a special mention to Poppy who was working on the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help me by liaising with a motorbike rental company on my behalf and posting an item I had left behind to my next hotel. She is AMAZING!

we loved roof too pool and gym- comfortable stay, beautiful room, great breakfast and amenities. they also offer the free Kayaking at the River behind the hotel, but we didn’t try. We definitely would like to return and stay here again. Lovely staff!

it is not convenient for walking distance to get some simple stuff from grocery store. there is nothing near by like simple 7-11, or any local bodega. We had a car so, we have to drive to get stuff. It wasn’t that bad for us, but it was not convenient to drive at night.

The concierge is very supportive and friendly especially since we don't speak Thai, plus after 30 hours traveling. The SPA massage was an amazing 5 star quality, we had two times during our stay. The breakfast is also wonderful quality. I like the ala carte style so we don't waste too much food.

The staff were amazing, welcome drinks and sweets and ice cream too. Also complementary kayaking and bath bombs which were breathtaking. was above expectations

It says you can have breakfast at anytime but this isn’t the case, which was a bit annoying as it was one of the reasons we booked. It flooded when we were there which isn’t anything to do with the the hotel it just meant the restaurant we wanted to eat in wasn’t open.

Everything! This hotel is just perfect from check in to check out! Everybody was so kind and friendly, an experience of luxury and peace that everybody should enjoy! The breakfast was incredible!! I am in love with this hotel and promise never had such an amazing experience!! We will come back for sure!
