This was the first time we stayed at Kanchanaburi. We travelled from Bangkok via Grab. The destination was easy to get to, situated at the side of the main road. On arrival the staff checked our passport, gave us our key and we were set to go to our room. This quick process was nice after nearly a 3 hour journey. The room was decent sized but more importantly clean and smelled lovely, with a Fan in the bathroom and AC for the room. The location also is great if you want to order food via GRAB. You get the option of putting a sign out if you want your room made. If not staff will put new towels, toilet paper bin bags etc onto a little hamper stand outside your room. Check out was also a breeze. Just to note the staff are not fluent in English but this did not cause any issues.

This is not the fault of the property, but location is not situated near shops and food places. Can be a 10/15 min walk with no proper pathway.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. With water, coffee, fruit, and delicious homemade cakes baked daily. Our room was cleaned daily (if required), and the place was kept immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location was pretty central to most things. Walking distance to places to eat, the bridge and night market, etc. And everything was easily in reach with a tuk tuk/ taxi. Very relaxed vibe in Kanchanaburi with friendly people.

The balcony was only large enough for drying clothes and not really suitable for sitting out. It would be lovely to have space for clothes (drawers etc.), as we were there for a week. My partner does not like dogs at all. Although this is not an issue with the property, it did mean that our stay was impacted (where we walked, and you could hear them at night). Just something to note if you have a fear of dogs. This would also be a general issue if staying in Kanchanaburi.

I had an excellent stay! From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond, always ready to offer assistance or recommendations with a genuine smile. One delightful perk was the fresh complimentary snacks provided daily. It was such a nice touch to have local treats giving a taste of the area’s flavors without even stepping outside. The location is also a huge plus, just a short distance from Kanchanaburi station, which made travel super convenient. Plus, there are plenty of charming restaurants and cafes within walking distance, offering a range of delicious food options. It’s the perfect spot to relax while still being close to all the action while in Kanchanaburi. For anyone looking to stay in Kanchanaburi with excellent service and thoughtful touches, I highly recommend Chez Bure - Bure Homestay.

Everything was perfect!

The 2 bedroom townhouse was very spacious and comfortable for my family. Was great to have a small kitchen and a washing machine. The hosts were lovely and even picked us up and dropped us off at Kanchanaburi station. There is a very nice restaurant around the corner from the accommodation.

I hadn’t realised that the 2 bedroom townhouse had stairs and was located in a separate building. I don’t think the listing made it clear when I booked, but I can see now that the information has been added to booking.com The property is not right in the thick of the main tourist attractions of Kanchanaburi but we found it very easy to use Grab to get around.

The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and it looked out onto a lovely green space. The staff were extremely helpful. The entire hotel was modern, clean and very bright. But, most importantly it had an elevator.

The hotel did not offer a breakfast. It had the facilities, but apparently no cook. However, snacks, water and actual drip coffee in the morning were free. Fresh baking, tea and coffee, were made available all the time for you to help yourself.

Staff were so polite and helpful. They only had service and comfort in mind. Lots of parking space, clean hotel. They were unlimited snacks and cool water available for guests. Room was super comfortable with again complimentary snacks and fridge with water bottles. Room had all the basic things of microwave, utensils, bathroom clean and tidy with toothbrush/paste, soaps etc etc. bed was clean and had additional clean towels. We requested no cleaning necessary as we went out for a hike and in return waster bottles, towels, soaps, snacks, etc were put at the door for us. Super impressed with the staff and management. The staff cannot speak English but were always smiling and helpful. The location is very near to good restaurants, bars and convenience stores.

we loved everything about staying at this property. one of the best places we stayed during a three week visit to Thailand. the room was spotlessly clean. the shower was great, the view onto the garden was just perfect and so quite we slept like babies. breakfast was great, rey good choice. Manee the owner was amazing, she organised our transfers between Bangkok and Kachanaburi communicated brilliantly when we arrived late in the evening and organised a trip to the national park and death valley railway noting was too much trouble. we will definitely be returning for longer on our next trip.

there was nothing to dislike

homey vibe. comfy bed! We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay, even if it was just for one night. The staff members were incredibly friendly, and the location proved to be highly convenient, with just a 1.6 KM walk to the River Kwae Bridge. The area comes alive in the evening, adding to the overall charm. The interior exudes a cozy vibe, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. We are definitely considering staying here again on our next trip to Kanchanaburi.

This property is wonderful! It was quiet, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I liked everything about the hotel but a tea pot in the room would be nice. However the free snack bar with fresh baked goods and fruit downstairs is very nice. (I just like a big cup of tea first thing in the morning)

We really enjoyed our stay at Chez Bure. The room was large, super clean and had everything we needed. The owner of the guest house was really nice, helpful and friendly. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and snacks were provided at the reception. The location was good too, very close to shops, bars, cafes, etc. There was a cafe a 2 minute walk away. We had a really good time and will stay here again for sure when we come back to Kanchanaburi 😊
