I love the staff working there. Amazing, friendly and hospitable people. Easy communication via whatsapp. They organised us arrival at the island and departure from it by longtail boat. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious. The place is perfect to chill up and visit other patrs of Ang Thong National Marine Park, to watch sunsets and have a swim. The bangalows have everything to sleep well. But you should know that nights can be really hot there. The best way to move around is rent a motorbike or you can ask hosts to give you a ride. Awesome place, worth experiancing.

Travelling from June to August be aware of sandflies.

superb location, waking up every morning to the sea view and Ang thong marine park in the distance. lovely lovely people. this is Thai hospitality at its best. the bungalows are simple and have all you need- very good new mattress, cotton sarong in each room and new mosquito nets ( though sea breezes mean there are so few mosquitos). The gardens are lovely with hornbills, frogs and you are deep in nature here, yet with home comforts, drinking water available and a huge shady seating area, hammocks, trees, flowers and peace. Sao cleans and rakes the beach each morning, and sitting at night by the sea under a starry sky with no light pollution is sublime. Daeng and Sao arranged for us to go on the trip of a lifetime in a local longtail boat, arriving in Ang Thong Marine Park hours before tourists arrived so we had the place to ourselves

Getting here needs local advice. message the property for boat timetables from ‘ Phaluai Pier’ in Donsak town ( not rajah pier or lomprayah google it) There is a local ferry for 200 Baht. it’s very easy once you get the timetable and location and Sao will pick you up from the landing place on Phaluai. Or you can WhatsApp her and she will get back to you. Don’t be put off by travel arrangements This place is like Samui 50 years ago. environmentalists will be aware that the island is subject to breezes and sea currents ( which make it so cool in the heat), but through no fault of the Phaluai islanders, the beach is a combination of beautiful shells and coral, but also the effects of tourism. The beach here at the bungalows is kept clean, but bring reef shoes or walk in crocs.

gorgeous setting with beautiful gardens. the location is very cool and breezy and at night the chairs on the beach are perfect for star gazing. We had an idyllic trip by longtail boat to Anf Tjong marine park. Go early, as your hosts suggest, and you will have Ang Thong to yourself for a few hours. Breakfast is generous and our hosts are just the loveliest people. Sao and Mr Daeng. we will always remember you and hope to return to Koh Phaluai xxxx

This accommodation is a true gem. We stayed here for 4 nights with two small children and loved it. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful garden. This place is excellent for relaxing, picking up the seashells at the beach and reading in a hammock. There are a lot of friendly cats and our kids loved them. The hospitality of the personnel was fantastic! They really made us feel welcomed in so many ways. We would love to return some day and explore more of the island!

We were sad to see, how the shores of this island are filled with plastic and pieces of glass. The beach next to the bungalows is long and beautiful, but quite rocky and not easy to swim in. The water was cloudy (we learned that best time for snorkeling would be around march-april).

We had a really nice stay at Koh Phaluai Beach Bungalow.. The owners were great and arranged really nice trekking tours on the island and nice visits to the other islands in the national psrk. We also had a great barbecue on the beach. I can highly recommend this place, if you would like ro explore Phaluai and the national park

The beach is not suitable for swimming, but you can easily access some of the very spectacular beaches in the national park

I wanted the lonely island vibe, and I got it.. a tiny magical island. I was welcomed the second I got of the ferry and got a free ride to the bungalows. The staff is so heartwarming, happy and helpful. The area is so beautiful. I loved my 3 days here.

I wish it was more options for breakfast. We were served pancakes and fruits, and could ask for fred egg. I missed oats/yogurt/bread other than loaf. But the dinner/lunch dishes are very good and you can order it whenever you want to through the day. The information about the ferries was a bit difficult and also wrong. Send a massage the day before you go and doublecheck the time and place for the ferry, or else you may have to wait one day to go there...

Lovely traditional bamboo bungalows with palm leaf roofs, very comfortable to sleep in. Mosquito net, storage space, fan, western toilet and shower, all of this is available. The houses are lined up around the restaurant and the beautiful garden. In the garden there are hammocks and small places to relax in the shade, as well as deck chairs under raffia umbrellas. There is a nice breakfast and great food in the restaurant, Phe Sao even brought my favorite vegetables. Thank you very much :) Things happen at a leisurely pace here, it's very relaxed. fantastic for calming down. The hornbill that breeds on the site is unique to observe. and many other birds and animals to observe. and an incredible starry sky at night. You should not expect luxury, it is all very basic on the island. But there are very hospitable, warm people. For me that is the most valuable thing, the loving people who welcome you so warmly. Therefore, it was a 10 stars-rating experience for me. There is no shop or ATM on the island. So take enough cash with you. and something more. There is a collection for the school, maybe you would like to take part. or support the cat lady who has taken in a hundred cats :). There are also cute jewelry to buy in the place itself. Nothing

The location is absolutely wonderful. Directly at the beach with a lot of nature is it the best place to relax. The people are super friendly and help you with everything including pick up/drop off or a fishing trip in a boat. There are a lot of cosy places on site like hammocks, loungers and yoga decks so perfectly to enjoy the day.

The blankets are made from plastic that I don't like. But I just used one of the amazing big towels as a blanket.

Super friendly staff. Nice community with other guests and staff for dinner and trips around the island. We loved the food and breakfast. We will definitely come back as soon as possible
