Fantastic stay in Koh Phangan during NYE celebrations. Very comfortable rooms, nice showers. Great swimming pool. The best thing though are the owners and the staff - the loveliest people ever, so friendly and helpful. I had an unfortunate motorbike accident, and they were very accommodating and helpful. Also loved the little touches, like the welcoming treats and the little Christmas presents. I found the location convenient as well - easy to get to other parts of the island, big supermarket just a short walk away, nice cafes and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there again, if I am ever back on the island. The dogs are super friendly and cute too. :)

The beach isn't really suitable for swimming, the tide is usually too low and it's too easy to cut yourself on a coral. However, the sunset views are beautiful, and there are a few cool beach bars and clubs along the beach.

This place is amazing. We stayed here to celebrate our New year since the place itself is in the perfect location for us with a scooter as you can easily get to bars , cafe, resturants, supermarkets and closde to the pier. Later,, we changed the place to explored the other side of the islands, and we decide to come back to Phangan Hometown. Incredible, the place is so peachful and relaxing after the celebrating season and fullmoon party. It like you rent your own apartment and there are always the cleaners make the room clean daily for you. You will get free bottles of water, tea, coffee , chips, sweet and milk in the freez so the price in high season is acceptable for us :) . The important thing is that Phangan hometown is a family-owned resort run by the daugther with only 8 simple rooms. There are Poopae and Chompoo , the dogs :) as their security guard, and they are so cute !

Had a really pleasent stay at Hometown! The location is perfect, as it's close to the Saturday night market, a nice bar street, another night market (which is every night, though far more tourist oriented) and it close to several beaches. Please note that you do need a scooter to get around and that makes it close by (just a few minutes drive) otherwise it could be either 20 to 40 minutes walking. But that's everywhere on this island. The beds were comfy (hard for European standards but soft for Thai standards, which was perfect for us), the room was very clean, they provide water and snacks and the owner is really helpfull and kind. Would for sure stay here again!

Cleanest room we've had in 4 weeks moving around Ko Pha Ngan. Very comfy beds. The room seems newly decorated with great aircon and free water every morning in the fridge. Nice, spotlessly clean swimming pool to help you cool down from the midday sun and the staff are very helpful and will arrange transport into Thong Sala if you don't feel up for the 15-minute walk to the centre or have a motor bike. All in all, great value for money, and we're delighted we stayed here. Will come again if the opportunity presents itself.

The owner and family are really sweet and took good care of us. One of us wasn’t feeling really well when we arrived. The owner came to check up on us the days after and gave us free snacks. Everything is clean, has got all the basics and the pool is sufficient. A small oasis in buzzing Thong Sala. Location is perfect. Close to the beach and town. Their dogs are very friendly.

It’s the right place for those who really want basic simple place to stay with very clean accommodation. The small place runs by Deany and her family and they are kind and helpful. The staffs are friendly and the dogs are funny.

All negative reviews mostly from who expected 5 stars standard but did not want to pay expensive. You just cannot compare small business to the 5 stars hotels:)

You cannot ask for more😃 If you like or have to stay in the area of Thong Sala and you don’t look for a 5 Star property or a Hostel, I can highly recommend this place. It’s absolutely worth the price! Phangan Homestay Resort is running by a gorgeous young Thai Woman, which is doing her job with love and passion, as well the very friendly Housekeeping Staff (Daily Room Service). You feel warm and welcome:) Beside this, the Bungalow is in an extraordinary good condition, absolutely clean, “you could eat from the floor”!The room and the bathroom are smelling fantastic, the bed is cozy and the bathroom is in the same good condition, clean, warm, -strong running water! The air condition is working perfect, all Bungalows are equipped with a fridge, a hair dryer, a water heater and 2 bottles of water, which will be refilled daily, free of charge! There are no insects, like mosquitoes, etc. in the room ;) The outside area is well looked after, a nice little garden and a wonderful pool. I have to mentioned it once more, because it’s absolutely rare, BEST CONDITION AND CLEAN :) Phangan Hometown provide a Scooter rental, a laundry- service, a very delicious coffee-selection, like regular, Cappuccino, Latte, etc. What else? I really want to say thank you for this wonderful stay ♥️ 2 cute, friendly dogs are a part of the “Phangan Hometown” family too, You feel safe and protected ;) THANK YOU 🙏

Minimal and modern style, perfect room size for 2 person. The place is alway spotless and make you feel home. The host is so attentive even just a little thing , patient, and helpful. We also love the swimming pool and sun bed:) The dogs :) The peacefulness:) no doubt to give this place 10/10. The little Phangan Hometown , and thank you Deany for your hospitality during our stayed ( of course we extend our stay longer than expected) will come back 🙏🏻 for sure

Fantastic property, air-con was amazing. The location is absolutely brilliant whilst also being in a nice quiet area. The owners are very kind. The pool is brilliant, you can also pay 100 baht to have others come over and use it. We met some lovely people who were also staying at the time as well and have been keeping in contact with ever since. I’ll definitely be staying here again when I return to Koh Phangan.

The showers could be better but that’s being extremely picky. Still does the job.
