A great little hotel, had a wonderful stay. Managed by a very nice and very good family. They have two cute little dogs on the premises! The beach access is amazing. Sand always gets cleaned by the staff. I've booked a motorbike with their help from a company and it was hassle free and convenient. The design inside the deluxe beachfront room is very Thai and very cool. All wooden, interesting artwork. I usually search for new places to stay when on vacation, this is the first time I will for sure book again the same place in the future.

In the sea, there is a party boat, far away. In the nights you hear a little bit of the bass from their music. But it's not something that bothered me to the point of disturbing my sleep since the main sounds you hear are the ocean waves!

Everything was as advertised - the location itself is worth staying here. Steps away from the beach, the breakfast with the view, squirrels playing in the palm trees in the garden. Staff were really nice, breakfast was great and varied, European or Asian. Room large, a lot of space, as well as the bathroom, AC worked well, patio in front was useful to leave the shoes and the beach towels (provided by the hotel).

WiFi could have been better. Streaming was regrettably not possible in the room. In the restaurant - yes. So, that is my only complaint about the hotel. Now, about Chewang Beach - this is the East Coast, so sunrises are amazing. I got up every morning and took a walk on the beach sunrise time - just priceless, especially since there were very few tourists around and everything was really quiet and peaceful. However, the beach is pretty much gone by the noon. High tide. There is another beach just down the "road" from this one, short walk away, where I would go, that was broader and lasted longer vs. the waves, so I did not lack the beach in the afternoon.

Lovely location - really close to the beach which is so nice, I think especially for a family where you can just pop back into the safety of your house right from a swim. Bed was super comfortable and big. Shower area also really nice. I think they have snorkelling gear you can borrow and canoes although I was only there a few nights so didn’t enquire but this is a nice touch. My favourite thing though was the garden which is so beautifully maintained and you can tell they have put a lot of love into it.

Would be great to have a mosquito net but that’s the only improvement, and maybe some suggestions of things to do / good restaurants in the local area. There was a centipede in my room and although I didn’t mind, it might have bothered some people. Overall though very clean, a little tired in places but definitely worth it. For a solo traveller I felt a bit nervous about how easily someone could access the huts from the beach, but there were staff there all night, and I think most people would travel here as a couple +

We had one of the two beachfront rooms and it was absolutely incredible - waking up to that view every morning was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Rooms are traditional old Thai style and their air con worked perfectly. Cleaning staff worked so hard and the mini bar was appreciated. The location is away from the craziness but equally only a 10 min walk to, if that's your thing. Really great gent doing laundry about 30m away from the hotel.

My Thai is absolutely horrendous and the receptionist and some key staff didn't have the best English. You got by ok but sometimes it was challenging. Not the hotel's fault but you could hear the banging tunes most nights - does stop reasonably early though. Oh and be careful of the bike hire that the hotel recommends - they (hire company) tried to con us saying the scooters had damage but we had taken videos upon receipt and they changed their tune pretty quickly. This is common place in Thailand and not the hotel's fault - just a word of warning.

Large rooms with comfy bed. Green location, great value, on the beach.

The hotel is great. Unfortunately (as of February 2022 ) the town looks like a war zone, with 85% of businesses permanently closed. Covid has not been kind to this location. Glad I moved on to Koh Phangan which has, thanks to its large expat community, largely escaped the ravages of covid. But if you want to chill on the beach and have great value, then you can't fault the hotel.

The hotel is among the nicest places we’ve been. Very easygoing and chill atmosphere with a beautifully maintained garden. They got an outdoor library, some pets (a couple of dogs, a cat and some turtles) that add to that homey atmosphere. Rooms are not supermodern, but comfy. No pool but who needs a pool when you got the most tranquil beach right in front of you? Good breakfast served alacarte and wonderful staff that seem to love the place too. Location a bit away from things but there’s a restaurant at premises with good food, and there’s also a couple of alright places nearby up and down the road. If you’re in for some awesomeness get up before the birds and experience the sunrise on the beach. Thanks for a good time, we’re definitely coming back.

The location is perfect! The staff is very friendly. The breakfast options and portions was the best I have ever gotten in Thailand. I want to come here again. The beds and pillows are soft and comfortable.

The interior in the rooms are quite old and could need an update. But it is still cozy, so not a problem. We had problem with our first room, but the nice lady at the front desk helped us directly and the new room was perfect.

The staff at this hotel was excellent. There was a bit of language difficulties but bearing in mind that English is not their first language it was not really an issue for us. They went out of their way to assist and nothing was too much effort. Rooms was spacious and clean. Provided soft drinks and water every day and the room was properly cleaned every morning. Hotel is right on a lovely beach. Hotel is not close to the hussle and bustle of Chaweng beach. This can easy be reached by taxi but most of the time we walked along the beach to reach this. Breakfast offered many choices. We (8 friends) had breakfast included. We stayed for 6 nights of which only two nights we did not eat at the hotel. The prices of dishes were a bit more that the local restaurants but the choices and quality was excellent

We had a great stay at the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double room and it was very nice. The balcony with the direct sea view was awesome. The room was cleaned and filled up with two bottles of water everyday. The breakfast was awesome. It was á la carte and everything was so delicious. The staff was always very nice and helpful, and in a good mood all the time. That was a very relaxing atmosphere. The beachfront was really the nicest from the whole Chaweng beach. The staff took care of their beachfront every morning and cleaned it. The rest of Chaweng beach (with just a few exceptions) was very dirty. At the Sans Souci Samui it was like paradise and worth every cent we paid. There are also turtles at the hotel we watched everyday and we also were allowed to hold them one time. It was so nice! We can highly recommend the hotel and if we will someday come back to Koh Samui we would book this hotel again.

The room was nice and spacious and in a perfect location within the resort where I could hear the soothing sound of the waves. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great...I could even take my fruit back to my room for later! Geographic location of the resort was perfect - far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk or catch a tuk tuk to everything. A few great restaurants very close to the property and 7 Eleven, chemists just down the road. Beach in front of the resort was perfect! Best part of Chaweng beach - very clean and quiet.
