Location, location, location.You are dropped at the entrance to Bamboo and walk about 50 metres down path with the sound of the surf, the smell of the ocean and then views of the Andaman Sea to a check in/restuaraunt on the beach. Yes, on the beach. I feel bad telling the world about this place as it is a parkway back to SE Asian beaches of 30-40 years ago.

It is early in the season(after monsoon) and the local staff are still cleaning the high water mark of the flotsam and jetsam of the rest of the Andaman Sea neighbours. Ban plastic straws now.

Beachside location in a beautiful natural forest garden setting. Very good food and friendly staff and owner. Friendly funny dogs around too.

This was the perfect location for a relaxing couple of nights stay. Our bungalow was right on the beach, we could hear the waves crashing as you fall asleep and wake up. Amazing spot for ocean swimming, we hired a kayak from the accommodation, they also have SUP's and surfboards. The staff, Coco, Gull and Gem are all so welcoming, helpful and accommodating. They were able to help us book a return boat, Taxi tuk tuk around the island as needed. We stayed mostly at our accommodation as it had everything we could possibly need. Food was AROI! Will definitely be back in the future. 🙏❣️🏝️🌞Highly recommend!

Best: the beach and the option to tend Surfboards. Also the staff was very friendly and fun.

We had a bungalow at the end of the ressort and almost every night we heard the music from the hostel close by until late at night. Also there was a lot of smoke coming from a close spot where people burn trash. Since the room has no proper windows on the sides and depending on the wind the smell was in the entire bungalow early in the morning which made it hard to sleep.

Its a nice resort, and the staff is perfect. Just not really sure if the price really fits all of the appartments. We had a room in the far corner without lights, also they do not clean the room which is no biggy but wont give them a 10 this way. The location is nice, since you need to rent a scooter for this island anyways.

Brilliant location, right on the beach. Great facilities available for surfing, kayaking and body boarding. Best thing about here was the staff! So friendly, accommodating and great food at the restaurant too.

We experienced heavy rain while there so it was hard to fall asleep as the bungalow is made from bamboo, not much of a problem

In a great location and nice and quiet. Other things, like motorbike rental and convenience store nearby. Good restaurant at the resort.

I guess this is because of Covid and a lack of visitors at that time but many bungalows are now derelict. However, possibly these may have been a separate business?

Location .. a bungalow right on the beach. Going to sleep with the sound of the waves was bliss. The staff were lovely ..made you feel you could relax and not worry about anything

A pity you had to buy water and ice .. the only place in my 4 months of travelling in Asia that didn’t provide free water

All the staff were very helpful. As I don't rent motor bikes as a rule they organised my moto taxis for me as requested. The beachfront was screened off due to constant strong onshore winds and storm activity being the rainy season. Bungalows with sea view had no sea view. Some bungalows were being renovated. From my beach walks it appeared a number of beachfront resorts along the beach were closed altogether for the low season. Fortunately, I had booked a villa with garden view. It was clean and spacious. Plenty of shelf space and hanging space in the wardrobe. Lighting was okay. No power points beside the bed. The oscillating ceiling fan kept the room cool enough. I did note that Booking.com states a mozzie net and sockets next to the bed are provided in villa rooms but not in mine. The salt air had caused a problem with the door's locking mechanism but the manager soon got that sorted out. The outdoor bathroom was large. It only had cold water but there was a sign saying hot water was available for 200 baht per day. I enjoy my warm showers but being solo I could not justify the additional cost. The restaurant overlooks the beach and has an extensive menu. I had an english breakfast each day. For dinner I had spring rolls, fried rice with seafood and the kebab meal twice. I enjoyed all my meals. Only three types of fruit shakes were available but they were all good. Be aware the southern half of the beach is plagued with sandflies. I got hammered but I carry cream which helps to heal the welts and minimise itchiness. The standard moto taxi fare between the pier and the resort was 80 baht. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

An amazing place for vacation on this island. Besides the fact that the location is excellent, everything the hotel provided was amazing and exactly as it was described before booking. The staff here is one of the nicest and most helpful I've ever met, they helped with everything with smile. In addition, there is a restaurant-bar located on the beach with a variety of excellent food (!), surfboards, kayaks and more. warmly recommended!! Thank you!!
