I really liked to finally stay in one of those old style wooden houses with wooden furniture everywhere. The outdoor communal sitting area was very nice and had a microwave, plates and cutlery. The WiFi was excellent everywhere. My room was very clean and spacious. It had everything it said it would have, including a fridge, kettle and a proper desk. It's run by a very friendly guy who speaks excellent English. He will fill you out with everything you can see and do in the area. I hate tours, always prefer to do everything on my own when possible, but unless you are on a motorbike here, you will need private transport to see all the sights north of town. They arranged a jam packed day for me, and best of all. I was in charge of the time management without anybody telling me this and that. Had a superb day.

A bit overpriced compare with elsewhere in Thailand. I'm not a fan of daily room cleaning, and especially not when they come and want to clean the bathroom at 8.45 in the morning, just as I really need it to be ready for my 9am tour!

The double room with AC is very comfortable, with a nice bed and desk, and good wifi (good to work remotely). And it is cleaned every day. Bathroom is somewhat small but the shower has good water pressure and hot water. There is a very nice balcony that serves as a common area. The staff is wonderful, Mr. Too provides many informations about touristics spots in Mae Hong Son and neighboring areas (he hands over a hand-drawn map upon arrival). The location is just perfect, at a short walking distance of all landmarks in Mae Hong Son, including the staircase to the temple Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu and the main street.

At first there seemed to be some confusion about our reservation. After discussion with the owner, he admitted the problem was on their end and upgraded the room for the same price. It did not have the sleeping arrangements we requested but aside from that everything was good. The room was very clean, the Wi-Fi functioned well and the shower had plenty of hot water! All is well that ends well.

In the heart of town so everything is in walking distance. Staff provided us many useful tips for our stay in MHS and we had a lot of fun. Our room is very spacious and has a large cloth rack which is perfect for three of us. Towels, soap, toilet rolls & hair dryer is provided. Free 3-in-1 coffee & hot water available in the common area. They cleaned and serviced the room so it's neat. Common area is right in front of the room so everything is convenient for us.

The room, bathroom and facilities are older than we thought. Those slippers in the room are reused many times so i would recommend them to throw them away or replace them. Curtains doesnt cover the whole window. We can hear the others very clearly at night, there's basically no sound proofing. Parking is 2 houses away from our room which makes it a little inconvenient.

I had booked the fan only room but realised it was far too hot for my comfort so I paid to upgrade to an aircon room. The location in the centre of town is excellent! The owner went above and beyond at check-in to provide me with all the top things to see and do and where everything is located in town which was so useful. The room was very clean, the aircon worked well and the street is very quiet with almost no traffic despite being in the heart of town. The shower worked well with good pressure and hot water. The bed was comfortable too. Large and spacious room.

Paying an extra 50% on the room price for an aircon seemed a bit cheeky but it was worth it at the end of the day

Was quite pleased with the room size and bed. Very comfortable, A/C worked well and shower/bathroom was stocked with soap, shampoo and great towels. I come here every year and am tempted to reserve this room now so I have the same room next year. Staff was excellent, first order of business was to provide me with a map and a list of all the highlights, shopping, food suggestions, tourist attractions.

despite the very reasonable price the room was well equipped: Comfy beds, Air Con, Fridge with bottle of water, t.v, water boiler & all in one coffee, plenty of work space if required, clothes hanging spaces & even a hairdryer which I definitely didn’t need. Additionally there was a shared microwave in the separate communal sitting area. There was dedicated safe parking for motorbikes & cars. Lastly but importantly the host was very nice & informative too, providing maps with highlights outlined & the property nicely located so that the vast majority within easy walking distance.

Nothing to dislike.

1. Super clean and spacious rooms. 2. Outstanding staff who go above and beyond to help you. The lady who attends to the rooms is very kind and goes above and beyond to help even though she doesn’t speak English. 3. Communal lounge equipped with microwave and kettel. 4. There was also tea and coffee available for free. Its a great area to relax and meet other travellers. 5. Great location! Only a 5 minute walk to the nightmarket.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The owners here are so lovely! I was sick during my stay and they checked in on me and offered to help, and let me check out late to catch my late bus. The room is very spacious, big desk, fridge/freezer and a balcony. The building is very pretty with lots of wood and a nice common seating area. Good location, easy walk to lake and temple on the hill.

We booked room with 1x double bed and 1x single bed even though there was just 2 of us. We were so pleased we did as we got a big room and our own private little courtyard. The family are sweet and got us a kettle to make hot drinks. Would definitely stay here again
