Harry's is very authentic and the lady on reception might be the friendliest person in the world. We went in low season so the restaurant wasn't open (opens in December) but the pool, reading/lounge area and hammock were available. It gave us jungle vibes and really a part of the local community - everyone was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay here. it's a short 7 min tops walk to the man road with both a day and night market just there. The beach just behind was gorgeous also.

Harry's is a backpackers paradise - so don't expect high quality stay but the bedroom was comfy, the shower/toilet facility a little outdated and we lost hot water on the last day of our stay but this didnt bother us much given the hot, humid climate.

Very large and clean bungalows, only a 5 minute walk to Maenam/Pralarn Pier, so a great place to stay before you head to Phangan or Tao. I also checked in around 10 PM, so no worries if your flight is arriving late. Staff was also very polite and welcoming. Will definitely stay again.

No negatives.

The bungalows are set in a tropical garden. It’s close to a few good restaurants and convenience stores. But it’s very quiet and family friendly. The bungalows are a bit dated style wise but everything is clean and working. Water bottles and clean towels every day. Beds are Asian style hard but as this is our second week in Thailand we’re accustomed. Huge refrigerator and new AC. The pool area is small but the pool good enough for a few strokes. A few stray but very friendly cats. Birds and a fish pond with koi fish. Friendly staff. The beach a few hundred meters from the bungalow is not the best. Take a Bolt to Boh Put instead.

Not much to complain about. There are better breakfast options than Harry’s restaurant a few steps out of the premises.

Just 5-10 minutes walk to Pralarn Pier to catch our ferry to Koh Tao. The staff was super nice and accommodating. There is a bit of improvements needed as they try to recover from Covid closure but give this a place a chance. Although the pier was walking distance, we wanted to get a driver to help take our luggages to the Pier, the nice reception helped arranged transport for 100B. Harry's is also walking distance to Maenam Afternoon Market and lots of good restaurants (Pancakeisland with good coffee and Ristorante&Pizzeria Da Bardo with good pizzas & pasta were our favorites). Also go check out the guy down the road (smoothie place with bar, next to Sunshine Gourmet) - he makes great smoothies, his wife did our laundry, and set up a car for the day for us to check the waterfalls & hiking trails. Taxis are not as cheap on the island so a car was worth it.

The pool was clean and beautiful and we mostly had it all to ourselves. The grounds were lovely and the green chicken curry at the restaurant was DELICIOUS

There was a high amount of chlorine in the pool that was difficult - not sure why - but was end of season so maybe they were doing a big clean. It wasn't the easiest to get to the beach but that was fine for us :)

The hotel area is really nice and green, surrounded with plants and nature. It is really quite and serene. Just a few minutes by foot to the beach.

The room was very dark even in daytime. You have to always keep the lamp on because the room has only one small window and it is not enough for the sunlight to come through all the trees.

We loved the tranquil environment and beautiful setting. Lots of greenery and pretty flowers. We loved the two room configuration of bungalow. Children in one room and mum and dad in the other. The staff were very helpful and relaxed. And the location was perfect near to lots of lovely small restaurants and a short walk to the beach.

We liked everything.

We were really impressed with our Bungalow! The accommodation here was relatively cheap, so we didn't expect much when we booked (especially cause we booked the cheaper rooms). But the space was massive (both the bedroom and the bathroom), they all included a little balcony area to hang out on, and the rooms were really clean. We only stayed one night, but i regretted we didn't book this same hotel for our second stay on this island, as it was definitely a lovely and well maintained hotel!

The only downside was that it's a bit far from the main road, and our taxi couldn't drive us to the hotel itself, they dropped us off about an 8-10min walk from it, meaning we did have to carry our luggage a fair bit across gravel roads. But not the hotels fault, might have just been our taxi not wanting to make a detour for us, as we had shared with other people.

I really loved the place, its in a calm area. They allowed me to check in at 1pm and I could also left my luggage there beofre going to ferry in the afternoon.

There was no electricity in the morning including no shower. So in the end it was very expensive one night stay for me, cause I was planning to work online. The staff did not tell me anything and did not even send a message about it. Normally I'd ask for some money back..

Enjoyed or stay at Harrys. Actual feeling is better than on the pictures. Great location when going to Koh Pangan. Nice garden and pool. Our two room family bungalow was spacious. Little bit old school but clean and well care taken. Beach nearby. MaeNam afternoon market is walking distance to grab some fruits and local streetfood.
